back to back polls Lando Norris how was your lap out there today and how pleased are you to have done that it was a good lap not uh not fantastic um I felt like a little slip really turn one turn two I was one and a half T down on my Q3 run one lap so I thought I kind of messed it all up already and uh to do that in turn one is a little bit like oh no not a great start to the lap but you also know you have a long way to go and uh plenty of places to try and gain some time back but I nailed the second chicane and I gained basically all of that time back immediately which gave me a bit more hope um I think both my laps were good enough for pole but uh um just wasn't the cleanest it's I think just very very difficult to put in such a clean lap around here when you're so close to the gravel in certain places it can go so wrong in certain places um it's just so easy to make mistakes you know with lockups in turn one lockups in four um gravel hitting curbs at the wrong angle that kind of thing so um I think as good as I could probably do today there was more in it for sure but we ended in the place we want and that's uh that was our main target and over 6 cents ahead of the Red Bulls Max and czecho much further back than they usually are so for you tomorrow is this the opportunity to turn this championship in your favor you know I decided whenever someone says Championship from now on I'm just not going to okay well let's talk about the opportunity I'm just going to say na okay so let's talk about the opportunity you have tomorrow okay so there's a big difference is a chance to gain some points yeah and do you need some team orders tomorrow do you want team orders tomorrow do you want the team to say hang on I want to race I want to race cuz that's what I'm here to do um of course we've spoken about everything and and we're we're prepared for everything but um similar to to Budapest you know if Oscar drives a better race and does better things and gets ahead then it's cuz he's probably done a better job than me so um you have those things but we're we're ready and um we know as a as a team what's best for us we still want a one two uh because that's what we need for as a team and if you also want to take points away from our competitors you know just working together is the best way of doing it can I mention the s word starts yeah also not really but it's a really long run so Oscar says the team think they've got to handle on it and know what the issue was George said to me that's my opportunity if they get away at the start then then that's that's their race no I I think George and Mercedes have been very quick on the high fuel run so far um and we've been so close like I know we're had today but Zan V is a lot more convincing we were just quicker and the race turned into that and showed exactly that I don't think we were just a lot quicker in quality today I think we just drove better laps than what they did um potentially still quicker especially like Q3 we just seem to unlock a bit more than what they had but um the high Mercedes have looked very very strong they can look after those front tires very well and that's something we struggled to do a little bit so they definitely not out of it and um like every race turn one is always people's best opportunity so I'm confident we can get a good one go on stay Thank
