well Anna three games three wins how much does that one mean your first win here uh all of the mean a lot because the first one was my first game as a Liverpool manager the second one was my first home game and this is the first uh big win I think if you want to call it like this so all of them mean a lot to me about your your forward line Le Diaz gets two mosella makes two then scores one it seems as if you've inherited this group of players it's it's it's like the greatest riches any man you could inherit I would emphasize today more on the work rate without the ball from these three and from our three midfields that kept on running kept on running and kept on arriving in the jewels so that was for me very very good to see that they could do this today I'm tempted to ask what's changed because on the face of it not a lot I think we look a bit more secure defensively I think we were a lot more controlled to game today um you know obviously 3 now and yeah it could have been more the clean sheets massive for us you know when you come away to your Rivals like man united then it's so important to keep a clean sheet that's what well Eric obviously it's a a really disappointing day how and why do you think you were beaten today and and by such a convincing score line as well we make mistakes and they were very clinical um in finishing and they did very well did you actually feel like you'd made quite a good start to the game and then it seemed to become really open and it felt like Liverpool attackers were running at your Defenders time and again no I don't think so if I see all the chances we conceded I don't think that's what happened I think we make mistakes uh all the three goals are mistakes from from us individual errors and maybe about the last one you can debate where is our double six but all the others I think um yeah Liverpool the brilliant how they took over the turnover and how they finished was so good but it didn't and I saw the XD that wasn't that high so your opinion of the game would be three goals from mistakes sure but the the general play of the game was quite even is that your view of it no it's it's um don't argue this it's clear deserve win Liverpool and we have to be humble we have to take this and then improve our game it was no surprise that casemiro came off at halftime was it almost a a kindness to him to to take him off after such a difficult first half or you just thinking no this is what the team needs last one that is what the team needed you know when you are two no down against Liverpool they are so good in uh you have to take more risk it will be more open and so that is my assessment is logical when you are losing the game against Liverpool you have to take more risk and I have to give a compliment to the team and they they kept fighting they kept sticking together but the ground what you have to cover is is is bigger and then you bring a player as Toby Kia and he has big great legs he can Comfort the ground how did casemiro take the news at halftime for a player of that status to be taken up at halim it's quite a big thing did he accept the decision okay my it's um you know the game he knows the game and and he will go on we will go on it's a great player and we will continue in the season to improve the team but also improve the players do you think he can come again I mean it's maybe not a nice question to ask but physically at 32 is there still more to give do you think he he improved of he showed so often that he's a great character and um yeah we all have seen but we all have seen great moments from him um be decisive for us in the Midfield and he will show it again I'm sure he will bounce back is the worry with today I don't know if you'd agree with this that it felt a lot like last season it was obviously a difficult League campaign last season but similar in terms of you conceded three goals and you conceded a lot of chances on your goal did it feel like last season I don't think you are right but you just say I saw the XD how which we conceded we didn't concede so many goals and now I don't have the feeling that we are in the same pattern because uh I didn't see it we I think it was some sometimes open would be took risk and I think I have seen some cool things but I don't want to talk about this after a defeat from trino against Liverpool well done Liverpool uh all the compliments we have to be humble and we have to improve our team I know you just said you don't want to talk about it but there did feel like a bit of positivity going into today particularly what you've done in the transfer window couple of performances I know you lost at Brighton but does does this sort of take away that feeling of positivity is that the worry that it sort of sets the tone no not for me I know many games to play and I know where we will be in the end of the season and many games many leagues and we will go for trophies and uh that will that will stand I was interesting to hear you say in the week that you feel like you know beginning I think you said beginning of a of a life cycle still a team in transition it's obviously start of your third year now how long will this transition take care you think but in the two years we took two prices and also in the end of the season we will see where we are and yeah but still we have to um fresh up the dressing room and we bring new players in today first start of maik first start of Joshua shik um we still some play is not available first start also in this season for kacho yeah the opponent is probably a little bit further in U certain areas but we will catch up and we will come back so while we all focus on the result you see good things behind the result I don't want to talk about but today about good things it's clear we lost to0 we have to take this and now we have to um stand you said before the game you know the first objective today is to keep the clean sheet and then we've got the quality on the pitch to score goals and I think we proved that well there's enough a lot to dissect with you both after that starting with the goals because Manchester United as Eric tenh alluded to were their own worst enemies yeah I mean it was it was a bit of a shocker he sort of dressed it up after the game say in half an hour we were good they were okay for half an hour but then two massive mistakes I think from camiro and and and got dragged at halftime they gave the ball away 13 times in the in the first half Alone cast Maro and we'll have a look at him here Mark I mean we know what he's done in his career but it just looked he was he was Miles off of today and he's in a good position for a number six of course and you see it comes back to him here now you know he's got options what does he do can he go to the can he go to to the right back take a touch to mazari D's really high up as a left back as well the last thing he can do is take this first time he can take a touch he's got more time he thinks now Manchester United are buying in trouble look at this numbers going for there three three Defenders and of course five attackers this is at home to one of you know the form teams of of the Premier League and of course they're queued up at the back post brilliant ball from South casmo again you know he's had such a bad day at the office again you talk about the Press you know arnest lot talks about his press Diaz presses from the front he Nicks the ball off casamero and and again it's it's it's pure for him he should get it away to maybe xerx in a way and I look at Martinez here as a center half he sees Diaz once he has another look at him again Mark twice now he should be man to man inside the Box you know space doesn't score goals but players do I think he's got to lock on to days and Frank the third goal race yeah I think some things are individual errors I think those two particularly but I think when you look at a structural problem with Manchester United kobby m is receiving his prob he back to goal six players already beyond the ball so he's got to try and wle and he can't and all of a sudden within a second you're four against and you're trying to recover and against the team where that's one of Liverpool strengths always has been how quickly they they execute those kind of counterattacks they just left open and then this kind of summed up really the the game for them in terms of this is straight away on the kickoff and then you make that mistake now without getting too individual about it I think that's probably as much of a mental issue at that point you just conceded you know that you're conceded in the dangerous moments you have to play the safer pass to go back or take another option and that summed up where Manchester United were in that period of the game and after that the game was done is that essentially the use the word structural when when you talked about the third goal of where Manu was compared to everybody else because when you compare and contrast that to Liverpool's Midfield today you have seen structure in in every phase of play really yeah well I think Andy Robertson alluded to it then in terms of looking safer uh defensively more secure defensively and I think you want to control games and you want to be more secure a lot of that comes from the center of the pitch and how you set up now we saw K Manu looking like he didn't have any options whereas the balance in Liverpool pool's Midfield today was completely different and they've talked a lot about buying a a top class number six but the way they play today they don't necessarily need that because of their setup so you have mallister and grain bur but those sort of two next to each other as two sixes and sois took up this position higher on the leftand side he's in aces of space there if he chooses to take that pass and now very quickly through playing very well through the lies they're going six against four against Manchester United and they're in big trouble and we know when they had that quality we know Liverpool have been capable of this for for many years playing through teams at PACE but they seemed a bit more balanced to their Midfield today than what sometimes Liverpool may have had previously where there was a lot of rotations and a lot of different movements here you generally see there the two players behind the ball subious like behind the Midfield giving them an issue and when you have those two players and those connections and the distances are always good they rotate off each other have a good understanding of each other but if they were to turn the ball over at any of these moments those two midfielders are always backing up play so it's smart players Dynamic players as the manager said there there was a lot of energy in their game but you see again here one can receive those two are close together so L makes a run just to open up the space and what you want to do with these things when you change play is get your your Best Wingers One V one with Defenders so I thought the balance was fantastic we very happy the small tweaks very smart I think from the manager there he's come into a machine of a team with a lot of talent and a dynamic style and there's a small change that you think leads you into seeing what you see there and and I think it was interesting today as well because a lot of people have been talking about the different style more passes more buildup we see that in the first two games here against ipswitch and brenford where they've had bigger control of a game but they' come up against what you might see as a potentially more difficult opponent old traford today and I think their decision was made to go okay we're going to have that structure but when we can play through when we can miss out that press from Manchester United play through them because you can play through Manchester United when they play like they did today and they found a really good way of doing it without losing balance to the team Ju Just on that Midfield again and Sh BOS playing a role very similar to to the one that you played but but from you as a midfielder and from you as a as a coach will that will that have taken virtually ever since slot got there to work on that and that and how much is it coaching how much is it individual well it's both I think you need good players and you need players of intelligence um and attributes and he talked about their energy to be able to make the movements and to continuously do so through a game at that level so I think it's both it obviously helps having good players with a good understanding and they've been well coached not let not forget what the the previous manager done over a long period of time so those tweaks would have been done on a training ground and then you obviously need to play to take on information and also react to a game you know when you are saying we can be a little bit flexible within a certain structure you're understanding that if mallis and I'm sure it will happen where he will just want to you know he will see a moment to release himself then it's up to the other midfielders to balance off that man Manchester United's Midfield has been an issue for a long time it's been an issue ever since Eric tenh arrived and wanted to sign Frankie dong didn't get Frankie dong right they've tried again with their Midfield this summer do do the hierarchy need to take some blame here in that the man that they they've chased all summer apparently in agarte arrives on Deadline day can't be registered and he's waving at the fans rather than playing in front of them I mean it's not all on tenh this is it no it's not on tag but you look at the you look at the squad today look at the bench even you make changes the the bench is is is way for thin they've made a lot of investment this guy should be starting today he definitely should be and again you speak you know Dan ashford's gone in there Jason wilock they are people above but have they come in too late should this been done who do you blame do you blame ten hag do you blame the powers of be above but at the same time the Jim Ratliff was there as well you know all them people the you know the hierarch the directors and all when they're watching that today 3 nil was was it could have been a lot worse Andre Robertson said after the game you know 3-0 was was was was respectable score line for Man United because it could have been four five six they had so many chances but AAR should should be should have been registered you said they chasing them all summer he should been he should have been playing today the the other the other contrast as well between the two teams you know the clips you show of of Liverpool is every time they get the ball in the final third it was slick and the passes went to who they were intended to and you again you go back and contrast that to Manchester United in the final third yeah well I think when you have balance within your team we're just talking about Liverpool there then then I think it's much easier to sort of construct attacks with Manchester United a lot of attacks and they have been for a while very quick and fast paac they moments that happen and they've got fast players and talented players at the top end of the pitch but when you attack quickly it's sometimes hard to follow up play when you're not structured patterns of play don't matter so much in these moments they're off the cuff and xery as you see there is is a supposedly number nine slightly a false nine who's not Fallen up Play You'll struggle to score goals if it's like that and again when you see here they had a few moments you go okay that's just a bad decision from gach and know we're early season and he's a good young player young players will make those sort of mistakes but this with Anana here can we make handles can you support him if fi to play that's a lack of connection through the team there even though he's getting a clap it's it's a it's a bad connection yeah it's frustrating SP because they have got the players like bro's probably one of their best players and today he was I know miles off again he's got options here gacho's right I think easy option but I think Bruno Fernandez is easy enough to play that through the middle for xeri and he's through in a 1 V one situation again it's the wrong choice in the final third and it's I don't know rashford you know go through the teamw mark to be honest rashford straight slow down I don't I don't know it's just you're probably right the word rushed everything seems to be rushed the top teams you see Liverpool great examples Frankl before everything seems to be calm in the final third all them sort of Snippets we shown in man united it's always rushed it's always like you know the one you saw where garnacho and xeri should be arriving into the box I know ten Haag you with well I think I don't know him that well but I think he should be doing patterns of play on a daily basis xeri should be arriving onto that and Sir gachu does a blind pass into that space he's miles off it is it a harsh and unfair question to ask if Liverpool look like they have more of a plan under slot after three games than United do under ten hard going into his third year is that is that harsh and unfair I don't think it's harsh at all you know you know I think the questions will be asked big time over the next couple of weeks International break now he's got a twoe break there'll be lots of questions I I know there's a lot of man united fans are really angry with that performance with the result and as you say it's not like he's just come through the door like slot's been there for three years I think slot has inherited a better team and better individual and a better player Liverpool are a better team than Manchester I don't think too many people would disagree with that so T hog himself has said that yeah he spent a lot of money as well well he has and and and in terms of Recruitment and big sigs and big players there are some that have really not come off for them and as a manager and I've been in that seat you understand that he'll be going well if my you know I need players to be able to play if I want more control of a game I need to have if I want to be a more of a pressing machine as a team I need energy in my same I need center backs that can cover there are so many parts to so he will have his reasons for that so I've got sympathy for that but the problem is when you look at that and it's it's a well spoken thing about Manchester United is that you don't quite know what they are what what sort of team they are with Liverpool and the top teams you generally know and that's that's a real um there's a lot to that you have to recruit War you have to be aligned as a club of a manager of an idea can we help and back him and that's what's been missing it's a bigger picture than just pointing a finger at the manager but I think when you do look at some of those tactical details there where team maybe he just wants to get that consistency so all of a sudden he can get his points across even better than he normally would but it's very consistent so far keep keep praising Anor slot Michael cuz he's joining us live he came in at the right time there there we go the Liverpool support are still inside the ground you can hear them singing the name of their new manager very well done how pleasing was that all around for you today yeah very pleasing I think we saw all the things you want to see there were difficult moments in the game for us we started I think United were very aggressive in the start we came through that then we had a goal dis out we came through that so we were mentally really strong today and with the ball I think uh we saw an excellent performance as well did you expect it to be that control today you really had control of the game yeah you hope for it of course um expect is not the right word I think I said before the game to the players that there will difficult moments today and then you have to fight yourself through so till now with ipswitch and brenford we only had the positives and then that you work hard okay that I can understand but I want to see how it is if it's tough and there were tough moments today and I think we constantly saw how aggressive we were how how much we ran without the ball and uh deserved win I think Hy congratulations I was just wondering the three goals that that Liverpool scored today all from pressure that you caus mistakes in the Midfield was that a specific Target from you today or is that just how you like your team play winning the ball in Midfield and breaking quick yeah I think the way Liverpool likes to play in general and and and and and I'm the same like this so we want to press high as high as we can uh we know with the type of players we have because they can run very good but if they arrive in a jeel they're really strong uh so the threee midfields we have with Maka with d and with Ryan they can run and they can arrive in a duel and um and they ke and they kept running so we won the ball back a few times but I think the first goal we scored which was disallowed which came not from a pressing situation my football hard would have loved that goal to count unfortunately it didn't yeah an congratulations again I think your first 11 are very strong but also we would just set two rows back and we see the subs walk past sorry warming up and think that is such a strong Squad that's going to be a tough part of your job this year to try and keep all them players happy yeah I think it's impossible to keep a player happy if he's not playing uh but uh they now go to the international team play two games come back I think in 21 days we play seven games so the the schedule is crazy so you need these amount of players the good thing for us that they're all fit so that's why you see them as well um but yeah it's it's always I I also saw some some players in the dressing room they were happy but in a different way than the ones that that played of course yeah and apart from the goals and the wins three consecutive clean sheets yet to concede and you said about that Foundation to go and play how pleasing is that pleasing although in the second half we needed Allison two times which is normal if you play United away that that that you sometimes need your goalkeeper but in an ideal situation uh he's only there to play out from the back but we needed him two times and in those moments the United listen you know what you can try and dress it up a little bit but United were shocking really shocking um every time Li Liverpool went forward they looked like they were going to score one or two passes they in on the United's back for obviously a couple of big well certainly a couple of big mistakes from an experienced player then a mistake well at this after the second half 3-0 um yeah not good you know there's a lot been a lot of good P off for United the last few months about plans for the stadium blah blah blah but today in a big game against Liverpool is just I'm just just really disappointed that United didn't turn up and uh I just think playing for what what playing for Man what should it be about they get they get I'm always surprised when the game's over after 50 or 60 minutes when you're playing for Man United I know you can have an off day and you can have bad is but for the game to be over after an hour it's it's it's hard to hard to accept 3-0 after 56 minutes and mosella had so much to do with that today two assists for him the goal as well Mo in you come congratulations he's left his shoes behind the dazzling boots are in the dressing room congratulations be careful don't step on your foot there intentionally maybe talk us through that then what emotions are going in that Liverpool dressing room right now after that demolition of Manchester United it's a great result you know everybody know that Derby is like very important for the city for the fans so also the manager like first game for him in in here so we're so happy for the result and yeah we need to just carry on if you want to fight for the league you have to win each game and that's a big game so I'm I'm glad that we managed to win it there was something similar in a way about all three goals that came from Liverpool winning back possession pretty high up the pitch was that a key part of the game plan here this afternoon I managed to be involv in three so I'm happy about that uh yeah I think the manager like us to press High and um they did couple of mistakes and we managed to use them so yeah it was part of the plan and when you do win the ball back moving it so quickly now we've seen that from Liverpool before but is this different the Pres that we're seeing in these Liverpool attacks it's not quite not not not a big different because was first a few years we're always like this we try to get the ball as high as possible then with the time we managed to to change our system or the way that we play uh but yeah it's quite similar then like like 7 years ago but yeah I think a manager has his own system and we all try to adapt to that you got to talk to me about your summer you've come back bro you're smiling ear to ear you got a new trim listen what's the vibe man what what was the summer for you you've come back you're flying you're sharp three goals three assists tell me about it bro honestly I just um I had a good summer I had a long time to just uh to stay with myself and try to think positive because as you know this is my last year in in the club um I just want to enjoy it and just uh I don't want to think about it um but just like I feel I'm free to play football and we'll see what's going to happen next year can I ask you something the second half are you surprised more how easy it was did it seem like an easy game well you scored three goals you could have scored five six goals the chances you missed to be fair I I was surprised because the game was open and we knew that after first half they losing they are two n down so they're going to come and just try to play Man mar car and just run behind us in the whole pitch but um it's I'm agree with you I was a little bit surprised because the game could finish five or six but um still it's tough team but today it wasn't their day and bro against man united you always seem to do something whether it be a goal whether it be an assist today seven here seven games in a row you did the assist and I know you I know you thinking yo I need a goal yeah to be fair I just um like I was in in in halim I managed to give two assist and just like it's my time to score I want to score I love to score um this is something I really love to do and as much as I score on the team winning that's the most important thing well if you don't know his name is Mo go he love scoring goals what else is change mode with this manager uh it's been a brilliant start for him it's quite trick to say but I think everybody now like also before we had like we have buor for seven years so it's kind of you get like in Comfort Zone somehow he's always tried to he was always trying to push us outside our comfort zone but you know when you are with a manager for 7 years somehow you get into the comfort zone but with a new manager he come with his style and he just want everybody to adapt and he had a few meeting with the senior group and just like he told him look you need to to set an example for the for the young players and yeah you need to work hard and yeah I think we're following his te well and hopefully we carry on like that and if this is your last season as you say this could be your last time ever playing here yeah to be fair I was coming to the game I said look it could be a last sign nobody in the CL talk to me yet about contract so I just like okay I played my last season and see the end of season you miss this place though won't you my second I don't know was WI a club but so far yeah my last game here was Liverpool well look we hope that it's not you know I hope uh it's not up to me but nobody talk to me about the from the club butth we will see we wish you well Mo a week's wages used to be welcome Jamie carrier and Gary nille I'm sure we'll get into the different emotions of that game we'll get into United perspective as well before we leave you but we'll have a look through the goals as a starting point uh we'll we'll revisit the first goal scored by Lis Diaz and there was a theme which we discussed with Anna slot guys and that was Manchester United losing possession and the way that Liverpool capitalized by leaving those wi players high at the pitch yeah I mean you talk about Liverpool in this fixure last season that's what they didn't do they didn't capitalize on these situations so it's still the same manager more often than it's the same players for Manchester United so we're seeing the same things talk about players behind the ball the rest defense the fullbacks are really high and when you look at the Players they've got there casemiro and Deli to be as Fair as well not the quickest and actually Diaz he does really well there because soos lies just in front of him there was talk of maybe a hand ball as well but the fact I thought when the cross came in initially I mean it's brilliant for moal I mean if that was on his left foot we take was a great cross but doing that on his right foot and soosai does well and Diaz does even better to make sure he finds the back of the net you have to give credit to gra bir on that goal as well CU he won it back and also played the pass to cah Gary what about this one but the these this isn't this isn't sort of like um you know High pressing or brilliant defensive work manchest unit United's in possession play in those deep areas was absolutely terrible when they lose it but it's when they lose it it's where the fullback is it a setup issue is it a setup issue where that Central Midfield player that deep pivot is getting the ball no options for not Dave they're individual errors they're individual errors that basically are terrible areas you know when we played at United me and Denis s would go forward and leave our two center backs on the ball and with Roy Keane and all Paul SKS and if they give the ball away we've been a bit of trouble but they didn't do it that often High Gary he wouldn't be that high from that position I don't think so not to TUV you do you have sympathy then with casemiro and also kobby Manu in in what when they're receiving the ball what's in front of them well not sympathy because at this level they expected they expect to do to do better but it still shouldn't be as simple as when there's one mistake like that when you're 40 50 that one pass some reason on goal I don't think it should be as simple as that but it is we we saw it a few weeks ago we see it again with this one and again they've got to do better look at Manu he's listen he's had a brilliant few months he lose it there and look at this if you just stop it there I don't think that should ever happen once again the two fullbacks they not they're just coming back into the picture if you're a fullback and you see on Midfield getting a you should always be expecting to wor going he might lose it here but the two of them are out of the picture right I'm not sure honestly cuz as the ball used to travel in to you all go it I'd be flying on the far side I'd be trusting I'd be trusting when he got not when he's not when he's got his back to play if I if I'm facing up the pitch and I expect you to be running of course but he's still not in proper control to Dad that's what you say your teammate unless you see your mate in control of it so you think it's a setup problem righty a bit a bit of everything yeah I just think if you're fullback you pass it in you should as a Defender we always say expect the worst expect your M to lose it but they're running back in they're on the outside looking in they should be back inside and then if you see you're made in a good position you go listen I can run onto it that's what I think I mean it goes on listen there's a lot to get into we get into it I mean that is so bad from the goalkeeper I mean that was awful to let that goal in but I'm the eyes but go back to what your mentioning Dave in terms of what's the plan when they get the ball if you like now I don't think there really is one I think it's a bit like individual player if a Midfield player does something good then he'll find a nice pass in three games under an ni slot I can see two or three things with the Midfield players like for instance today mallister they've got a patter of play going where when it comes to me he goes One Touch he done it three times today that's something that you know you've worked on there was one the one where I said I think in commentary where they play a couple of passes then they get into salah's feet you can see that after three games I don't think there's anything and we're already into the third year of tanagar I go that's what they do in that situation and that's why I think they have problems when they're in Midfield you look up and it's a bit like anybody could be in any position making any different run and remember last year United how many home G how many home games did United do last year and we were here a couple of weeks ago and if ful them were a little bit better they would have punished man united but the fact is today so United are making the same mistakes from last year they' done it so far to see even at Brighton it was a bit a game of you know who's going to win it you could lose it whatever and youit are playing that way and again when they do give it away and they make mistakes which is going to happen cuz teams are going to do the homework like Liverpool said look Lads if we win it high up the pitch and we press him the manager said he says we know there are two fullbacks up the pitch we're going to have we're going to have an extra body an extra and when you have that quality to go with it you will be punished we'll we'll hear from Eric tenh har shortly Daniel do you think there's anything different about Liverpool then one once they were winning back possession compared to previous season I mean Jamie did a big piece of analysis on Monday Night Football about the moment being a bit too hell to Skelter when they were charging through on goal Liverpool yeah last season oh yeah I think this year there's a there's a calmness there I would say I think that they have ways to get into positions now um but I think it's the new message in and I think just the players have kind of grasped it players are in positions now subers Li in the hole is able to to you know affect the game higher up the pitch um like I said just the the way that they're breaking teams down and playing through they've got ways to play through now before it was maybe rotations with Trent coming in Midfield so on and so forth but for me when I talk about man united I actually think you need defensive midfielders or someone who's very defensive minded to player 44 in my opinion or four it looked like 424 at times so if you're leaving two guys in there they obviously have to have an immense capacity to run and also defensive minded which is why obviously they signed ugat it's clear it's clear to see do you think ugat Gary would make the difference who get into positions now um but I think it's the new message in I think just the players have kind of grasp it players are in positions now subers lizing the hole is able to to you know affect the game higher up the pitch um like I said just the the way that they're breaking teams down and playing through they've got ways to play through now before it was maybe rotations with Trent coming in Midfield so on and so forth but for me when I talk about man united I actually think you need defensive midfielders or someone who's very defensiv minded to play a 4 four in my opinion or four it looked like 424 at times so if you're leaving two guys in they obviously have to have an immense capacity to run and also defensive minded which is why obviously they signat it's clear it's clear to see do you think aat Gary would make the difference would have made the difference today playing in that position I don't know what I mean that players can make individual errors like casir did for the first goal narti may give a ball away like that at times whether that would lead to a goal or not I don't know the difference for Liverpool for me and why they scored those goals is that last time what we saw a lot of was maybe Nunes on the ball GPO not at his best Diaz the ball fell to Moos Salah Mo Salah is a different level than any of the players that are playing out on that pitch today he's a different level and he's absolutely world class so for me the reason sometimes it can look a bit frantic for Liverpool is when it ends up with maybe Diaz or ends up with Nunes or it ends up with GP and they can look a little bit sort of like unorthodox and a little bit raw whereas Salah gets the ball in those two areas and he's just perfect and precise that was the difference Jim he did say to us Mo Salah I know you weren't you weren't here at that time he did say to us this is my last season at Liverpool he said I haven't heard from the club well there is a positive today this is my last appearance at Old Trafford but it almost sounded a little bit like Neti it didn't sound like nothing Dave stop trying to instigate so he's over there trying to instigate some he said what he said look you answer it but look I I personally I I don't know man I mean I we've just been speaking on the podcast and I actually I think Mo Salah is obsessed a little bit like Ronaldo in in scoring records appearance and Records longevity in the game and I I think for most of us you think when you get to 35 you sort are done in in football I think the way that lad looks after him it's what you're going to do in the future and more often than off for most players when you get into your mid-30s you can't you can't do what you've done before he might be different now that's where I think the argument will be of course Liverpool want to keep him and V van djk but it will probably be about wages they still on the same wage that they're at because in the next two or three years we'll be the same player so that that's the debate that we'll be having but I'll be very surprised if Mo Salah isn't playing for Liverpool next season cuz I think he'll want to Blitz every record in the club's history you agree I mean I do I feel feel so why you hav to go at me for I feel he you were saying he said he's going to he wants to leave and I'm saying I don't believe what you said that he's it's his last game at Manchester United that's what he said yeah but what I'm saying is I don't believe that in his mind he wants to leave the club I don't believe that I believe he's saying look show me the money baby that's what I think he said that's what I think he said but he will have great options won't he the options he will have and that would be tempting for him well what you you say that right I agree you on a free transfer who wouldn't want Mo Salah but I just think in the Premier League that was so strong and that you if you if you're in the top four in the Premier League you're in the Champions League The Following season you probably got a decent chance of getting to the quarter semis who else has we all say Real Madrid or Barcelona Barcelona are not the force that they've been they've got huge financial problems Real Madrid we know a level of of anyone would they bring him most salary he's G abroad before hasn't he so his experience going abroad before and against sometimes family decisions lifestyle listen whatever we say whether we like it or not the money does come into it and he's certain be getting offered more money than might be what living could afford to give him so all that has to go in the mix but when he was here he's he was quite chirpy and quite happy as he would be after a good result and he just come to the end of the season fancy just a new challenge J that's all it is of course leaving Liverpool would be difficult for him no doubt about it it's sharpen everyone's Minds because he been so brilliant today because he's got the season on fire three goals three assists and Daniel was obviously suggesting that he was leaving but I yeah [Music]
