and then in the last game of the day ladies and gentlemen 11 o'clock we got Weber State who went six and five last year tral Washington who went 14-1 Washington fa by 27 and a half points in the Big 10 Network Michael penck Jr which by the way I don't know if you knew this last year but Michael penck Jr was kind of good at football he went 363 of 555 threw for 4,3 yards 36 touchdowns 11 interceptions Dylan Johnson on the ground had 233 carries for 1,95 yards 16 touchdowns and radun 92 catches for 1 640 yards in 13 touchdowns I know what you're thinking what do all these players have in common they're not back from the Washington team which is why this is not a ranked Washington team they lose their head coach dor to Alabama Michael penck Jr goes in the first round to Atlanta adun goes in the top 10 as well to the Bears and it's just like all these guys are gone which made your team so good last year now don't get me wrong Jed fish is a phenomenal hire I like Will Rogers at QB he was good at Mississippi State and so he's a perfect transition quarterback while you trying to figure out who you want to be full-time starting after this year but I don't think Washington's going to be as bad as people think they're going to be but again this is not a Washington team it's not the Washington team that's coming off a national championship loss right this a Washington team didn't play I don't know if it's going to be that good they're going to a really hard conference in the Big 10 right and it's just like they're going to be overshadowed immediately by the new newbies in USC and Oregon which are both going to play I think good football at the beginning and it's like must Will Rogers what shocks me Will Rogers could easily really shock me he was in Mississippi State for so long and he was good at Mississippi State but he wasn't just like amazing that I think he's going to be able to take this to the next level at Washington I think Jed fish is a good coach I think this game should win six seven games this year I just don't I'm looking at it's just like looking at it from the eye test they don't pass the eye test for me to really be excited about Washington football this year really think they have a chance to do really anything in the Big 10 I mean I could be wrong again that's the beauty of the beginning this year is that we don't know what we're going to see out of the any of these teams any of the teams that I talked about today could go on a surprising Championship run it's just what are the chances of that um I think Washington is not super high but it's like I'm not the be all end all Washington could easily be a good better team than I expect them to be but I think right off the bat I don't think Washington's going to be great but it's lucky they get a tune up with Weber State Will Rogers get gets to get adjusted to this offense the new offense with Jed fish I like the Husky to win here and I like them to cover I just don't love them for the rest of the season hope you guys all enjoyed your Saturday of college football though [Applause] [Music]
