going to get that number seven always man nah I ain't going to get it you know who going to get it the Vets man Joe what's your attitude going into the this week but also the preseason finale um same thing has always been you know just be ready when my name is called and just prepare like I am the starter where do you think you've grown the most from the starter Camp to where you're at now Shez man I can tell you a lot uh I grow a lot um just as far as like just what the coaches wanting to play um you know how does the play supposed to be operated you know just seeing Jobe operate and you just know how things supposed to go um you know I think he did a great job of helping that guys in the room and the coaches did a great job of helping us get prepared for it but you know just being able to see Jobe operate and you know see how the offense is supposed to um go you know that's a good thing to see seeing that NFL life what is kind of your attitude now how badly do you want to be a part of that NF life now that you've seen it kind of understand it a little bit what I mean I don't really understand your question on that just how much how much more hungry are you you can do I'm from poan Florida only thing I can do is be hungry um I feel like being in NFL or NFL life doesn't change how hungry I am uh where I come from makes me a lot more hungry what's it been like working with Drake and what have you seen from him over the last couple week um he grew a lot you know for someone to be 21 um you know just you can see a lot more mature um you know from where I was when I was 21 and the mind that I had uh you could tell that you know he's been around the right people um he got the right people in his corner so it's good to see that I know you might have done some under Center stuff in Michigan maybe but like how big of a transition is that to go under Center when you come from these college offenses where you're in the gun like 99% of the time um it's not too much different um I feel like it just depends on the center um you just got to get used to snapping get to get used to catching his snaps from run the center but other than that it's not not too much of a big difference for Joe Jacobi just talked about how he has to be a mentor in different ways to a guy like Drake in comparison to you how has he been in that mentorship role so far oh he's been great um you know just far as like you know just coming in the room and you know just watching film with us without the coaches um letting us know soon as they get off the field just letting us know what he would have done or if it was a good throw if it was a great throw you know it's really not such thing is a bad throw it's about the decision that you make um and he preaches that a lot you know just think about the decision that you're making uh no matter if you didn't make that read or not just was your decision good enough what's it been likeing with how he help you my dog uh man he's great you know he's he's a great leader um he's quiet he may seem quiet to y'all but you know he he talks um and he just stay in the shadow and you know he he does a lot um you know it's kind of hard to to preach exactly what he does but you know the easy way to say it is he makes sure you be prepared every day um day in day out no matter what the play is he know exactly what's going on and how it should be operated Joe I want to ask you about the net drill you guys do early in practice do you guys keep score on that is that the competition between you guys uh it was keep it was we did keep the score like OTAs but it kind of went away um just pretty much if I think jacobe made the most um since we started though so you know he just used the oead talk uh you feel me it's just it's cool I mean it's a competition but at the same time you know just all about getting your foot feet right underneath you um getting your Basse right so do you guys compete with each other in any other ways other than maybe tracking completions or anything what do you guys do I wouldn't say compete like that just where's the trash talk come from if it does it all playful she that's hard I don't feel like we really Trash Talk each other so yeah I mean the only old only old head talk he said was I think it was like my third day here and he made the net and he was like uh yeah man come on I got some cleats older than these Jokers so that's was for like I feel like that was probably pretty much the the funniest thing he ever said so far you know just I ain't expecting him to say that so it was pretty funny uh I wouldn't say prove nothing um I still don't want to prove anything to nobody I feel like you know why why listen to what people say if you're not going to take advice from them um so you know I just go out there and just have fun man I feel like that's the only thing you can do uh you know just get better day in day out so you know just improve from last game um I feel like every day you just got to get better than yesterday so you can't get those days back so just keep going two more questions we see saw youall downi today can you just take us that uh yeah we just had uh two comebacks on the outside uh David had a seam and the defense rolled to one high so um I saw to see him and I just wanted to put the ball there so I got it to him and I just want to see him make a play Down field last question yesterday we saw you make a pass to Kanan Baker you sort of pulled it away from the defensive back everyone got excited what was it like seeing him make that play after the work you put in um man just seeing those guys make those plays that's what they here for you know just seeing those guys get opportunities and make the best of them um seeing him make that catch everybody got hyped and pretty much LED all the way to the film back in U before walkthroughs later that night so you know it was just a great moment for him to see but also just to see that what type of playmaker he is um he catches every day and after practice and before so it's it's good to see him do that thanks no problem thank y'all God bless
