me go back into some little history who can tell me who two which two holidays we celebrate in September let me hear who can tell me which two holidays we celebrate in September and there and there's the biggest one and that's the reason why out here today thank you very hard I didn't hear you thank you exactly September 10th and September 21st guys we have to remember we're belans and we're free we are proud We must give thanks because we are here when we are alive we should always remember being a b that is is supposed to be patriotic all the time keep that in heart keep that in mind I want to thank each and every school for being out there I can see color I can see the all you in your uniform I can see the bands are set the musicians are set guys we are ready for a party reason why September we celebrate a party are you ready for a party today are you ready toch today thank you very much ladies and gentlemen kids enjoy teacher thank you for all the hard work we are ready we are ready we are ready thank you street right all right at this point in time I believe the BDF Cadets are going to be marching off B yes guys as you can see now the uh Cadets are Marching out um as the ceremony the opening ceremony for the school rally 2024 uh goes on you can see them marching off now and so the ceremony continues thank you the BDF cadets at this point now we call on a young lady with our welcoming remarks she comes from man's SDA put your hands together please as she steps forward for the welcome address Pleasant good morning to his worship mayor lric Shephard mayor of tawan city Taiwan Minister Kevin Bernard Town Council counselors orange Rock District education staff BDF Cadets principals teachers fellow students media house houses and to the entire education country it is with great pride and joy that I stand before you today to welcome you to this year's Independence Day children's rally As We Gather to celebrate 43 glorious years of the's Independence our theme for this year a nation proud and free beli at 43 reminds of the strength unity and freedom we treasure in this beautiful country as we celebrate let us take a moment to reflect on the words of the Bible from Psalm 3 32 which says blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord the people he chose for his inheritance this verse reminds us of the importance of Faith gratitude and unity as we build a nation that is not only proud and free but also blessed by God's grace today we reflect on our history the sacrifices and struggles of those who came before us and we stand United ready to carry forward a vision of a stronger brighter belief as children and young people we are the future of this nation we hold a responsibility to honor and preserve the freedoms we have and to work towards creating a belief that continues to grow in harmony love and respect for all as we waver Flags sing our national anthem and participate in today's activities let us remember that we are a nation proud of your heritage strong in our multiculturalism and rooted in our faith together we can ensure that belief remains a beacon of full hope and freedom for all it is my honor to extend to all participating schools a warm welcome to this celebration let's proudly unite as one people under God grateful for our past hopeful for our future and committed to keeping belief proud and free thank to March for this Children's Parade I would just like to take one minute of your time to present to you our fourth annual Independence mural that we've been doing from 2021 thano the minister of culture and the chairman of the national celebrations Commission honorable Francis fona and her Her Excellency Miss Lee Ru ambassador of the Republic of China Taiwan we've been doing this from 2021 the first one that we did was right beside the town hall the second one is right on the tax stand the third one that we did last year was the tong clock and now the fourth one is for those who can see or for those who have seen it is right behind the flag Monument that's our forth Independence m and I would like to make a special mention of our artists and we have Mr ug Kio we have Alexis Kio a round of applause for them we have Mr Alo Bennett who I know is in the crow with the marching B right now we have oh Mr Ben we have um the newest member to this team is aler and we have the one and only female Miss stepanie colan they take time every year from their business scheduled to do these mural so I would like to give a big round of applause for them as we did our Ford mural this year and we believe that art makes a country more beautiful and unique so we'll keep doing art and this mural is a symbol and show the importance of the September celebrations and why we are Marching today personel invited guests BDF police Cs and then they are followed by the schools San Francisco RC school Solomon's SDA School New Life Presbyterian School Chaple School St Peter Aman School lisana government School La immaculada RC school B High School of Agriculture Bishop Martin High School New Hope High School Orange Ro Technical High School muffles College High School Orange W it vet San Juan Bautista high school and last but not least muffins junior college so that is the art of the parade I believe most schools are in order and ready okay guys just a few reminders please make sure that students are lined up for a breast remember there is a prize for the most organized most clean School in terms of your garbage ensure that garbage is properly collected and disposed especially at the different water stations all right trying not to have gaps in the period and more than anything display your patri patriotism and respect for B hydrate stay hydrated it's a hot day all right Lely one [Music] more and that's it for sports guys thank you let's get this parade on rooll today yes guys that marked the end of The Opening Ceremonies for the 2024 children's rally and now the schools will prepare to begin the official uh rally and um you heard the uh route and the Order of the parade but just as a little reminder before we um cut off and uh you know go to to to show you to uh view the parade just to um to uh recap the parade will move from the Central Park and go into Queen Victoria Avenue onto Cinderella Street Don Street um followed by San Antonio Road into Baker Street and then next into Main Street Hospital Crescent up to Queen Victoria Avenue and it ends at the Central Park and uh to remind you Victor will also go over the um the order of the parade yes nma we have the order of the school and uh uh we start off with um the police mobile Then followed by the fire truck con coner and invited guests also we have the BDF Cadets National transport then San Francisco RC school followed by Solomon SDA the new live Presbyterian travel School St Peter Alan Louisiana government School Town Council transfer mobile liakada ambulance also bhsa Bishop Martin the New Hope orange Ro Technical High School muff College it vet San Juan Bautista MJC and the national transport these are who's participating on this school rally today Norma and uh guys just to see a little about um you know how the students are uh out here they're lining up they're preparing to to get started and we will be signing off for a short while as we head to Da Street where we will be streaming the um rally live and you can catch us uh when we go uh you know um at Don Street where we will be uh live stream the the parade as it makes its way through um D stre that's correct Street the new than ever thanks to the Ministry of infrastructure development and housing approximately 70% of our major highways have been rehabilitated in the past 5 years making them smoother more resilient and most importantly safer but with these improvements Comes A new challenge there is a significant increase in speeding and other reckless driving habits that lead to traffic incidents and damage our roads the biggest challenge we find is uh more tourists traveling at excessive speeds especially when we're working on the highway when we're doing Pooles pedestrian Crossings and so forth we find that there's a lot of motorist that they're not cautious enough Highway workers are on the road daily carrying out various activities that include the construction cleaning and maintainance of our highways to make our travel safer they are people with faces names and families and loved ones so for their safety and yours remember to pay attention when driving and and avoid distractions together we can keep our highways Clean safe and beautiful for [Music] [Music] everyone Road Improvement Works can only do so much far too often drivers make poor decisions that result in tragic conf consequences we have seen that over the past years a number of accidents has occurred repeatedly and so as a result of these accidents we have seen the deterioration in our road Furnitures which includes our guard rails or traffic signs or Road studs damage is not only as a result of crashes as we've have several cases where the signs are vandalized or or they're stolen they're there to warn when there's a sharp curve up ahead or there's an obstruction so those are important for drivers to be aware of what is coming up ahead the guard rails are there for we do have instances where their driver error or perhaps you have a tire blow out there there to guide the vehicle safely outside or within the road so you can come to a safe stop so when those are damaged or misplaced you put risk at other Road users who may be coming behind as well if you have an accident and you don't have any guard rails definitely you will run off the shoulder of the road and if you don't have the proper signs to indicate that you're going on a left hand turn or right hand curve that would significantly affect drivers and their behaviors especially at night when you need these signs to be in place so a key aspect of ensuring that our roadways are safe is to follow the Mantra that the ministry always says at every inauguration ceremony which is simply don't drink and drive don't text and drive adhere to the posted speed limits in the area that you're driving and just generally be cous and respectful drivers remember always wear your seat belts and abide by the traffic laws together we can is that the rally is now making its way down uh D Street in a few minutes we are uh going to see the the actual rally and you can hear the police already making its way out here Victor and um we see a lot of Spectators out here yes guys in total we have 15 schools participating that includes primary school high school and the Junior College from here in AR Dr Town um and as you can see uh the police mobile which is leading the parade is already making its way uh here across down street and they are followed by The cadetes Who are also you know now making their way and um like Victor mentioned guys there are a lot of Spectators out here you know waiting for the parade to make its way uh here down down street and um you know it's a very hot day perfect weather for uh the 2024 school rally [Music] school education is the key to success the San Francisco RC school franol Frisco [Music] that is the queen for San Francisco the queen and the king I believe and you just saw their um you know majorette group for San Francisco RC now they are followed by the float with the 2024 2025 Queen so um you know they are making their way in front of us at this time so let us see yeah the queen RC school yeah we can see the students with their Flags you know waving their Flags their red white and blue all the students having their Red White and Blue Hats their Flags you know trying to protect themselves from the Sun a bit because like you mentioned the sun is very POS Nation proud and free yes guys this is Solomon's SDA primary school and um you know they are their float is is making its way in front of us at this time uh proudly displaying our team for this year which is a nation proud and three believe at 43 and you know that is the common team that we will be seeing today here you know everyone uh displaying patriotism displaying pride in uh as we celebrate independence you know 43 years of Independence okay yeah and now we approaching is the drum court and the uh the drum court for for um Salon sorry and um you know they are making their way in front of us at this time they displaying their red and blue hat which symbolizes you know B red white and blue and what we are all about patriotism as we celebrate 43 years so let us enjoy a little of the um drum beats from Solomon's SDA guys as they make their way in front of us no [Laughter] ah there you heard it guys the drum cor for Salon followed by their student body who are you know proudly waving their their ban flag um you know representing believe 43 B yes guys and uh passing in front of us at this time is New Life Presbyterian RC school another of our primary schools our local schools here in town um this is by umra you know they are byra yeah by the in front of the hospital and this who are um you know making their way across down street at this time uh you know the common SC that we are seeing at this time you know with the costume that we are seeing is red white and blue which is traditional uh at for this time or Independence Day and um now we are having the next pool which is Chapel yeah chel school and you know they're next in the lineup and uh you know first off is RC school and um you know this is followed by a float um you know with some students in costume I think they're depicting the different cultures in um in our country orang walk my [Laughter] C white you know beautiful costume take their school colors and we seeing the student body or St Peters you know one of the smaller schools in town now they are followed by Louisiana government school which is one of the bigger primary schools in town uh they are coming up next and um you know from St Peters we're seeing that the students uh you know have the common team their flag their hat depicting red and blue you know believe that 43 there are different banners as well louana scho yes guys let us enjoy the presentation by Louisiana government school they major girls and their drummers as well you know all dressed in their school colors burgundy and gold as well oh [Music] [Music] [Music] go [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] yes guys um you know this is Louisana continuing there as you can see from the banner the standard six spot and like we mentioned is uh indeed a very large school with a lot of students and we can see that as um you know the standard six class makes its way in front of Don Street you know the large amount of students that are out there for Louisiana face yes guys so now you see the standard four class of Louisiana government school they're divided by uh sections and um you know the students like we had mentioned are you know waving their Flags displaying patriotism uh as we celebrate uh 43 stand Lana government School stand yes guys L is approaching us now we see they're being led by their principal Miss Len Mana they're flag bearers and um you know they have some mascots uh here uh you know greeting the children um yeah different cartoon characters greeting the children a little treat for The Spectators out here by lolada RC school guys so um yes you can see the different uh cartoon characters out here you know Minnie Mouse Mickey Mouse Donald Daisy are out here [Applause] yeah they're out here and they're taking pictures with some of the kids that are out here spectating know so this is a real treat for um The Spectators this year from liada um RC guys so yes one of the largest schools like you mentioned L makada RC yeah we're going to enjoy some of the music here by L makada [Music] I okay [Music] primary school just made its way in front of Street RC and you could have seen you know they had a lot of different elements to their um to their presentation and um now the first of the high schools is making it way high school of Agriculture you know um this is the first high school that is making its way and we see them being led by um some members of the cadet and um you know the ambulance just also made its way in front of us now being followed by the flag bearers of Poli High School of Agriculture Victor one of the first high schools and this is located in the community of San Lazaro here in AR district and um you know their majored girls are making their way in front of us let us enjoy some of the drums uh you know the drum beats from uh the see what [Laughter] [Music] what right [Music] [Laughter] [Music] I [Laughter] [Music] [Music] I [Music] sir we are now seeing the student body of B's High School of Agriculture and unlike the primary school the high schools bring out their entire student body for the the rally B yes and one of the interesting uh you know components of bhsa they are known for uh their Puck top team and they are uh you know displaying that out here today we can see they have a Pock to PO presentation here that you can enjoy [Music] [Music] on the street I could imagine this this conrete is very hot yes and they are you know displaying their skills their poap po skills for The Spectators out here to uh today you know very impressive um presentation by B High School of Agriculture and um you know as bhsc makes its way past here uh on D Street we see the next high school which is Bishop Martin High School uh another high school here uh in orang town and we see you know being them being led by uh their Banner you know that displays their name believe High School um Bish in high school sorry and um their peer helpers and their student government as well and um yes guys this is the second high school that is making its way here in front of D Street and uh you know as it's customary their uh drummers and majorettes are displaying their school colors which is uh red and gold you know that those are the traditional colors for believe for Bishop Martin High School let us enjoy a little of you know their druming [Music] [Music] [Music] okay [Music] [Music] [Music] f [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Music] now [Music] [Music] I know all [Music] right yes guys you just the major heads and drummers for Bishop Martin High School again Victor we can see that these high schools are taking out excellent groups you know their dancers with very elaborate costumes depicting your school colors or the national colors but know very well organized very neat and you know you can see that they put a lot of effort preparing for today isop Bop Mar Bishop Mar yes guys and um as Bishop Martin makes his way uh in front of dun Street we noticed that they are divided into their different classes and one of the unique things that we are seeing out here is that each class is being led by a very uh you know elaborate and unique Banner that I believe the students create uh during uh you know in the classroom sorry and um their Banner is depicting this year's team which is a nation proud and free believ at 43 and uh you know as the different classes pass through we're seeing the different banners that they created um you know depicting your school colors and also the B colors which is red white and blue and um they're displaying these different uh components that are um you know traditional for our independence day which is our national symbols you know the tan the mahogany tree and you know very creative and very elaborate banners by these students that we can see that took them a lot of time to to do and you know very impressive uh presentation and um you know from these students that we are seeing here from Bishop Martin High School Mar Bishop Martin and uh you know one thing that we must remember as well is that these different schools are being judged as well by their presentation by the way how they are walking you know how organized they are how clean they are they judges in different areas who are you know taking a look at these different things you know if they are uh assembled in the correct way for a students per uh for for a breast is what they call it and you know there are different prizes that these these um schools will receive uh you know for the most organized the most um clean school I I I think is one and the most creative there are different prizes that these um that are made available for these students as a a form of incentive you know for the different schools uh that uh you know prepare every year to Showcase um their school and their students to uh you know the orang do public and the The Spectators who are are out here to to to view the presentations yes guys and and now we are coming to the end of uh the student body for Bishop Martin High School these are the fort Farmers I believe and um they are followed by New Hope High School who um as we see are are being led by banner and their flags as well and um Coming directly behind them is there are there sorry majorettes and drummers and um you know now we'll take some time to be able to enjoy their uh drummings and you know look at their presentation [Music] [Music] he the majorettes from New Hope High School and uh we must note that New Hope High School are the defending champs for the mayor's drum competition I know that that is coming up again but um you know they are the the defending Champions and you can see why they won last year you know very organized very um unique with the the the beat that they they bring out and um you know they're they dancers as well uh you know dressed in very neat um yeah dressed in very in in very neat colors depicting their school colors green and white and um now they're being followed by the student body you know also divided in in in um different sections for the different classs for Farm to Fort farm and and like we mentioned the high schoolers bring the the high school sorry bring out their entire student with our coverage let's go to what's happening on the parade [Music] oh [Music] friend [Music] [Music] [Laughter] hi we're back guys yes and thank you for staying in tune for our live coverage of the 2024 uh school rally here in arja and um like we have been mentioning you know now the students are uh from the high schools are currently making their way across here um on Don Street we are currently seeing the students from orang Technical High School you know as we mentioned one of the largest high schools uh in our community and um you know like we've been seeing these students are very well organized and um that is something that uh they the AR Ro District education office is always looking at you know to see that the students are are able to to um you know remain organized and that they are able to uh you know um display their school with respect and with patriotism as well te High School yes guys we have seen you know most of our all of the primary schools and most of the high schools already you know making their way uh past done Street and um you know we still have a few more schools coming up you know after AR um orang technical we have Ma's College itvet San Juan Bautista and then the only uh treur institution in AR Dr MJC we'll be closing off the School portion of the um parade and then we will be officially closing off with the national transport but um you know we continue to uh see the students of AR Dr Technical High School making their way through D Street and um you know they are again divided in in different classes and um we see the students out here you know uh making the best of the sun today because like we have been mentioning guys the sun today is extremely hot and um we're grateful for uh the good weather for no rain and um you know we are uh enjoying the students you know as they enjoy themselves for this school rally I know that after the the rally there is a a like a dance for fora or a youth Fest I think it's called Uh there on arur street for the high schoolers I know that this is the the second teror last think it was done last year and um this year it will be continued so the students look forward to to that at the end of the the rally so um you know yes uh we continue our coverage here on da Street of the24 school rally Victor for College it San Juan Bautista MJC National transport element the the yes guys like we mentioned we see uh you know why orang Dr technical is considered one of the largest uh high schools here in our community you know the amount of students that are out here the entire student body uh came out today to represent their High School AR Technical High School my am I I graduated from AR technical um some years ago but um yes guys we see the students are out here trying to be the heat keeping hydrated that is something important for the students you know to remain hydrated and this we see that uh you know for the most part the schools are providing hydration for for their students they are providing water enough water for them we see that you know teachers and different students making their way around with with bogs of water with making sure that their students remain um safe during this uh you know rally because of the Heat and we're coming to the end of orang Technical High School and their presentation their uh student body and uh up next is is uh muffles high school as well and that's one of the last high schools that we'll be uh you know presenting then we have uh San Juan Bautista and then lastly MJC but for the most part you know we have seen uh from what we have seen you know the students the schools came out in full force this year for the uh parade and uh thank God this year there wasn't any rain I know two years ago the the rally was canceled because of of rain but this year we are thankful for the Sun and um you know that the students are able to to parade to to um you know celebrate our independence for3 years and um a proactive and inovative mercy School of Excellence yes guys um we are seeing now the presentation by muffles high school and uh you know they're being led by uh Banner that reads A proactive and Innovative Mercy School of Excellence that is what they stand for and uh we see that um you know like many of the high school they're being led by their student government and then their Fair helpers and their different student leaders and um you know the uh coming up next as well is every High School tries to have a presentation you know a major group drummers to know give something to The Spectators Who come out every year to support these schools to be able to um enjoy what the schools have to offer for uh the Publican this can be considered the official start of the um you know this year's Independence Day Celebrations as the students celebrate Independence Day and um you know we are continue seeing um uh the students of muff High School making their way uh towards us now SE yes guys um we saw the the first farmers just make their way in front of us first farmers for muffles high school and um like yeah now they are showcasing their national champions for 2024 their football team who are national champions for 2024 um you know they are proudly walking you know displaying their accomplishment for the school as Champions you know and um that is why this rally is all about you know the schools being able to display their accomplishments what they're all about their students and you know being able to Showcase how proud they are um you know and proud to be ban proud to be from orang and um that is what we've been seeing out here today um you know the students uh participating in the parade with pride and you know uh being able to display uh for their school and uh guys we will now listen to some of the the presentation from the drummers for uh mu high school and um the the dancers as well [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Laughter] [Music] he [Music] SP [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] yes guys uh we are seeing uh you know the student body for M High School I think these are the turn farmers who are making their way um in front of us at this time yeah yeah the youth group they're also showcasing their youth group um I see some students wearing um little badges that say class officers and um different Badges and uh like we mentioned Victor and Victor some of the the students are just out here displaying what they do on a daily basis at their high school you know because they spend most of the week in school so um you know this yeah we're coming at the end of college high school and I think these are the four Farmers that are passing in front of us at this time and um we're followed Now by Aral technical school also displaying their um you know school out here today and um they also have I I think coming up drum some drummers they have their their drummers out here and um you know they are joining in with the celebration for now we have mu Junior College the only events for the school rally as they take out their mascots and you know music so um they were closing off the the parade and um I know we enjoyed Victor and I hope you guys enjoyed as well yes guys and we want to remind you that we will also be uh you know covering live the Independence Day Parade in caral tomorrow Saturday and um you know I hope you uh join us as well we will be live on our
