Snowdon Pyg Miners I’ve done the national 3 peaks in 24 the year 2024

um why am I walking around with a frying pan yeah guys we're going to uh do the West Island Way hopefully April next year just uh trying this tursa but um I don't know what's going to happen there you go guys big track hey guys Bob the Builder whoa yeah this is amazing guys look at that bridge over there that barely spotted I didn't even notice it yeah light You Can See For Miles and Miles I didn't know there was a cafe be that's a thing then FK there's a FK in the path don't if the well I know for a fact the camera doesn't pick up bloody Ste here that's quite big is that bit of a rock face there CRI go in the distance there's some goats look hello welcome to this video I'm Dave today you join us in Wales we're going to uh set the tent up in a minute I don't know what you can see behind us but snow is over there somewhere I'm not very good with the with geography but um it's it's it's over there somewhere in the clag um why am I walking around with a frying pan I'm walking around with a walk anyway we're going to put the tent up watch this there you go all set up right guys I'm going to lift the camera up now and show you the view that I was talking about because all you could see was the bushes yeah guys I think snan is over the top of there in that general direction yeah guys uh so we set the tent up in the rain was absolutely peeing it down to get these uh pearls in got Bailey with me me and uh barely put this up together was a bit difficult there it's massive there's and uh there we to get these in look at the bend on them bendy Wendy bendy Wendy we're in guys show you around uh show you a bit of our kit and stuff like that got this from millets the other day 15 quid got some gas as well we did have another one but it didn't seem to work too well got this tost thing to try out got some mes tins got some ARA got a frying pan and some more like pots and pans down here Kettle BS plates cups there is plates in there somewhere down there got some of these uh citronella sticks just in case there's any midges CU I always get eaten alive this is the uh bedroom bit seems okay now you can't really see out can you um yeah when we pitched up it was absolutely peeing down and the inside of the uh tent inside of the fly sheet got wet so had a few drips coming in and that right I will open the cool box cuz it's uh not an electric one so I want to keep stuff in there as cool as I can we've got some burgers in there for tea tonight some bacon for breakfast in the morning got plenty of water sort of for cooking we got some loads of water over there under the table and juice and that so we've got plenty of fluids with us what else have we got like we'll be taking some of this with us when we go up Snow and tomorrow crisp biscuits ionic drinks pop got our Rock sacks here in here in one side I have uh my waterproofs in one side pocket top and trousers yeah guys so I think it's this side the water proder in this is a new bag I just got this from deaon the other day for $29.99 cuz I can't afford expensive kit in that but we'll see how it goes yeah got my packet jacket and uh trousers in here and I have a a rook sack waterproof cover as well this is a 50 L bag so uh should be able to fit plenty of stuff in my sandwiches well get squashed so this side I'll have my sunglasses I've got another yeah sunglasses I've got another um Rook sack waterproof cover and a a mat to sit on that FS out that's only a small one but I use it on my buom got a bottle of slurpy water in case I need to clean my hands do these back up or I forget I've got map then in this top bag we have uh hat and gloves got gloves got a hat in here I've got loads of uh charger wires ear ferns battery packs got three battery packs I know it's a bit of weight but I don't want to get stuck out have lights torches two of them and uh we're not going to be aching in the dark but there's two of us going two two head light what do you call them head torches yeah have another one of them in here somewhere another head torch there look yeah I do have a hat in here hat snow neck F thing two of them put that back in a second so in here it's going to have loads of room here for when I do like I'm going to do the West Island Way jelly babies we have a bag of them each take them when we go hi in I always put my uh bottles in a plastic bag just in case they leak and then put them inside and uh then in the bottom here there's another compartment so I have me sandwiches and I've got we don't need them today but I always keep them in anywhere with crampons and uh toilet roll in there for emergencies yeah show you what else we got for snacks yeah they're in here I so don't want go to open in now but yeah we yeah I'll quickly open it we take these protein bars and uh yis set them with us and we'll have some sandwiches each as well yeah guys we're going to uh do the west highland we hopefully April next year so I wanted a bigger bag for that as well to fit stuff in and uh sort of try and practice what I need um plenty of room to fit stuff in I'm going to do wild camping on that one I will be able to strap a small tent to the bottom of this so yeah that's another reason I wanted a a bigger bag yeah guys forgot to mention there's a little pocket here on the Belt as well and uh in here I have uh like different ends for the walking pearls oh yeah we have walking pearls as well guys if you can see it although we got three we normally just use one each to be honest and yeah I've got just got bits in here I've got a whistle Compass got a a pen knife and that in there as well yeah and I also have a button Compass don't can you see that down here guys it's got a little button compass on the zip yeah guys and also for safety I forgot to mention and I did know they were in here if I needed them again we have two because there's two of us I always have a spare t-shirt and spare socks when I go hiking I always do that anyway then we have two survival bags I was going to call it bvy bags cuz that's what I used to call it I also take a bum bag and in there I have just sort of some plasters and Vaseline and stuff like that and I do actually have two fil blankets in there as well got to be uh safe guys and prepared just cooking burgers for tea I've got the door open to let some air in just been raining again plenty of gaps around the bottom to that air in as well mushroom for me barely don't like them and this tent ain't up to much good because it's dripping again yeah we don't normally use this tent and we haven't used this tent as a family for a few years and at I I don't actually recall ever using it in the rain to be honest and we did buy it second hand but yeah it's not much good as a backup we do have the other smaller tent that we usually use in the car if we really need to use it let's tuck in just uh trying this TSA but um I don't know what's going to happen a bit red in there look I just turned it down but yeah we'll see what happens much much later much much much later well guys that have to do it's taking forever have you paid and displayed so guys it's the next morning now we've uh just parked about a mile away down the road from Penny pass it's 8 pound a for 12 hours it's 4 for six but I thought give ourselves plenty of time so if we're not back by 12 hours call Mountain and rescue anyway we'll get our bags on I'll catch it with you at Penny pass the start of the pig track to snan we're going up the pig down the miners you putting your cap on um no not [Music] yet for all right guys we' just arrived at penry pass like I said we're heading off up the pig track we'll be coming back down the minus track so uh let's head over here there you go guys pig track this way there barely yeah guys so we're just on the start of the pig track I'm just going to do a quick 360 again I don't know how well you'll see what I'm seeing but it's beautiful already and it's h clear at the moment had to ditch the hoodie at Penny pass guys cuz I'm sweating already look down there guys beautiful bit of a rock face there look guys some big Builders here watch I'm put in my feet your body I'm here Bonnie still going guys really climbing look got a g there look all right mate going I think that's CRI G up there guys I'm quite sure it is don't know if the camera can see it but we can see people is crib go up there we're not going up there cuz we don't like heights we'll be going that way through the gate there following the pig track whoa look at that guys and then like I said crib gaw behind me don't know if you can see it guys as the uh crib GA sign in the St there whoa yeah a lot of backwards this is a guys look at that bridge over there that barely spotted I didn't even notice uh the summit because I've never done this one before I've done Ben Nevis and I've done scar Pike this year both of them so this will be the third National for me this year and uh on the 10 September will be the year to the date when I started hiking done the yor Yorkshire Three Peaks 18 times as well and I've done hell in bil's done hell in P again and the O Three Peaks twice and obviously he's with me today lovely views can just see the minus chat down there guys that we be coming back down wet foot just uh going over a few Rocky bits here guys all fun that's to the excitement it's all right is this guys so got some clag up there you can't beat it out here though guys you can't beat it it's beautiful I love getting Outdoors I wonder if that clag clears by the time I get up there this is the uh Stone marker where we'll go down the miners track so we're going up there now but when we come back down I spin around there's a stone marker we've come up there we we going down there don't think it's far now guys um I think we're entering the clog so uh I I don't know what views we'll get up there looking up there at the moment not many I'm enjoying it guys not far now guys up there along there I don't know if you can see it's a bit claggy but I can see people over there so go up here anyway Stern marker there guys I've Got a Feeling we might see the train track in a second yeah there's the stone marker for the lumaris path and look down there guys there we have the uh train track hope if you can hear me it's been windy now this way this way we do keep getting little bits of views in between the clag there guys over there look just got a bit of a queue the uh Trend track down there yeah I'd like to say You Can See For Miles and Miles but with the clag rolling across every now and again we do get some views can see over there look guys like I said this clag keeps rolling in and out I didn't know there was a cafe beer although it's still claggy up there guys Can See For Miles and Miles that way I can see mil oh we both got a hat as well and uh we're just getting down in a few seconds to the bit where we FK off to the um miners path that's to think then FK there's a FK in the path for [ __ ] sake yeah guys so we're just approaching that stone marker there look so uh heading off down here yeah down here let's get on path good stuff this guys there watch where I put my feet there my knees are hting a little well on my knees not my knees as in both them one of man KN is aching a little bit but yeah good fun just uh scrambling down a bit guys oh yeah don't if the well I know for a fact the camera doesn't pick up that's a bloody here yeah I don't think the camera picks up how steep it is guys careful not to slip on my ass sorry slip on my bum that's barely coming down yeah oh we soon get to a flat bit guys and walk past the water getting warm again now guys hats off hoodies off nearly on the flat bit they just uh down there look guys still this little Bridge yeah guys we've uh just come down there they see the people winding the way down bit of a water feature there just approaching this old building I presume it's some sort of miners building since we're on the miners track so have a quick look at this guys that's quite big is that bit of a rock F there crib go in the distance we're just going to head over the water in a minute there a bridge thing I'll spin camera around and show you there we're heading over there across the water look just follow this path around there you go guys we're on the bridge now obviously we have the water at each side think we got a mile and a bit left I'm not sure well actually from Penny pass we have another mile back to the car cracking view I Can See For Miles and Miles now guys there's some goats look ohol there's some more there as well look Penny pass just down there guys nearly done we made it guys yeah we're back at Penny pass we do have a mile or so to walk back to the car I think it's a mile so anyway that's the national three in 24 done for me not 20 4 hours but the year 2024 quite impressed to be honest I've really enjoyed hiking this year and uh to get all three done in one year as well as the yor free Peaks and hellin good stuff right guys we're going to wrap this one up now we're just going to have a sandwich here before we do the last mile back to the car
