terplex join us here in just a little bit we actually have a ton to talk about today too with the football schedule coming out yesterday and um as always on the Wednesday show we are live on Twitter somebody about that that our YouTube page with what we're doing at py fanatic and on Iowa everywhere yeah I don't know what happened in the last like year year and a half but that has turned into a massive consumption was there someone that joined maybe a year ago that intern internate and Sten the CR okay you got the secret sauce then kid I'm just saying it's coincidence I think Jerome Tang we love you brother for the explosion Aiden's a farm kid he doesn't look like it he doesn't act like it but he's a farm kid and we Aiden's dad was here earlier good to see Matt late happy birthday to Matt um no this is cool I I had a couple of uh Farm kids from Iowa City this is before you got here there was a hawk and a clone is a farm kid from Iowa City that seems South Iowa yeah I know no that's what I said I said the exact I go how are you a farm kid from Iowa City and they wereth of there no we've met like I probably met like 10 Fanatics that stopped by the terplex booth here Wells Fargo Arena the Expo how awesome that machine is that drone over there holy smokes I want one for for my house in bond the I I could you imagine me lifting off with that bad boy out of the driveway just start spraying the kids all over your your neighbors going to be like what is Williams do oh Williams just get the Drone out the Drone out and all the kids are running under it cuz we're we're spraying water not fertilizer on them course again I'm a clearly not a farm kid the technology involved in terplex is incredible like just this now this whole like Iowa EG Expo like this is eye opening to me again I sound like I'm uh from the 1800s here but the technology is wild this is like a technology show more than an act show this is one of their remote controls thing like it's got like a whole computer system and so they've got this cool setup here where they actually have a drone set up they're telling me in one of the Suites up there and if you look over on this TV over there I don't know if we can get the shot of that probably not um they they got like the heat heat seeking cameras so they were showing me some of these shots from they'll fly them around their house just to test it out at night and you can see like an individual deer running through the woods and I said can you use that for hunting no that is illegal sticking ammunition on there is probably that is illegal to use for hunting that kind of ruins the challenge of the you know the sport of it so anyways uh really excited to be here we appreciate the invitation we do have a lot to get to women's basketball tonight we will not talk much about that because we it's going to get dated I'll be there oh you're heading up after going up right after this yep how you feeling uh good they I think they're in that like hey we got to get one mode well Addie Brown's been sick according to Bill Finley which makes me feel better because she just hasn't been as involved and that that makes more sense as good as Audie krooks has been playing if you can just get Addie or handed to knock down a few shots today I mean this is a great opportunity to get get back on track and IA State still in really good shape I'm still excited for this group and obviously they want to get on the winning track cuz the one win they've had in the stretch was the forfeit so that just doesn't really feel like a win even though it does count as a win so just getting back in Hilton they Haven played I think Billy tweeted last yesterday they've been like one home game last three weeks I mean it's been nuts time year that's really it's hard to do yeah so I think everybody's excited to get back into Hilton and Iowa State's been very good there this year let's let's dig into the football schedule for next year we're going to spend the majority of our time I think on this today we will get into some basketball uh not a lot new to talk about from Sunday's podcast obviously cuz they haven't played Game Jerome Tang lost again boy Jerome Tang uh is that Karma I don't know what's going on there but that's a that's a rough eight days for Jerome and they got their ass KCK it wasn't even close by Oklahoma it was not competitive our our friends from the Kansas State media were tweeting out words like the team is quit uh not playing hard all that type a real shame to see a shame real shame to see that happening uh well I guess we can just touch on this the Baylor game real quick yeah uh they are 18 and Kim pom this would obviously be a very good quad one type of win however Bloom Baylor so they play tonight they play Central Florida on the road tonight which that not easy what's that bayor lost three in a row yeah I you realize that they've lost three in a row I'm not buying them this are not I told you this too like I didn't there and I love Scott drew I love him I love him like family I don't think that this is one of his better teams they have a reputation as a great shooting team I believe as of this morning they were dead last in conference play from three percentage wise they haven't shot it at all and they don't really guard they are really um they percentage defens they're dead last which is kind of wild the thing with Baylor is and again very skilled team when the ball's going in the ball has him going in which Ms huge problems for them cuz they're not real you know Baylor had this reputation over the last 10 to 15 years under drw super uber athletic they'd get in passing Lanes they they'd be great defensively they're not as good this year they're not as athletic in the back court they don't have the front the front Court guys to stop it at the rim and so really if they're not making shots it's uh it's been a tough road for them I'm yeah I'm I'm just not real high on Baylor right now a lot of people still think they're like a final four Dark Horse I don't I don't think see it at all I I really don't in fact I I I do have a hot take go for it I think I've watched enough Big 12 if I had to tier the teams right now Houston won yeah they're on their own they're on their own now I don't put any and I know it's weird cuz Iowa State beat them and we all watch that game yeah we we all watch that game though I don't that I don't want that game going two more minutes no you know I they are they're one in fact um I I would strongly consider putting a little bit on a Futures bet with Houston like to win it all yeah I mean the only thing I would worry about with them you you would know more about the if you get the wrong officiating crew on the wrong night that blows a lot of whistles yeah I mean they've been really good on offense though too dude they are they played like crap last night and still beat Texas or was it two nights ago big Monday it's big Monday I watch Monday night I I I I'm Blown Away by that team I'm in love with that team and I've never seen a team tank said this the other day too now we're just a big Jerome tank podcast now but he said he's never seen a better defensive team in his life so interestingly uh we had this discussion I don't know if it was last Wednesday or maybe was Sunday it all kind of runs together where I always said at one point had the second best odds to win the conference but then appreciate our guys on the on the on the message boards pointed out Texas text remaining schedule is by far the easiest there is and even though Tech lost yesterday they now have the second best odds because if you again comparative schedules they they they got many breaks all the breaks and they've already won a g couple games on the road so right now Tech is actually five and a half to one I say 7 and a half to one to win the Big 12 so Iowa state's third Kansas now in fourth at 9 and a half so Iowa state is definitely in that upper tier one thing to keep an eye on obviously you you'd love to win the conference uh but you know Conference tournament Wise It's the the top four teams get a double buy and and so it's going to be man I'm so not used to that I know it's it's getting trying to readjust it from 10 teams now you're up to 14 so the double the top four seeds won't play till Thursday there will be games Tuesday and Wednesday prior to that so as you plan your Kansas City Excursion make sure to keep an eye on that I was thinking about that too if if you wanted to go to the women's tournament mhm So in theory like if the women make a decent little run mhm you could double dip in theory yeah you still you're going to have two days off either way because I think the the women's final is on Monday MH and then the men probably won't play at this rate until Thursday I me what are you going to yeah that's a lot of time to just be rumaging around the Power and Light District I mean you're going to be a Green Lady Lounge yeah and that place is we screwed ourselves Aiden you you probably haveen heard this so became too popular 10 years years a 10 12 years ago is me and Hines and like Dave zalinsky and like we all discovered this place called The Green Lady Lounge that was open till 4: and nobody knew about which I never understood how some bars could stay well is it Anyway there's something about like if there's live music and if it's like music venue I don't know the the lady was telling me one one night who was it the green lady the green Lady it's like this bar out of like a 50s film like as like it looks like you're walking to the godfa yeah like Frank Sinatra is going to be in the back smoking a stoy it's the type of bar it is and we used to be able to go in there at any hour and get like $2 beers and there's never anybody there now you go into the green lady on a Tuesday night the the place is just packed crazy I'm done I I Hines and I went last year and I told him when we were walking back I said I'm done I'm not going back to this place so we're find our we need to find another hole in the wall yeah I'm not don't tell anybody I'm out it's too loud now there's too many fans there like I'm just I'm completely out on the on the green lady so yeah double buy so keep it keep that in mind Iowa state did itself a favor by beating Kansas now you start think about NCAA tournament I think if the if the tournament was held tomorrow and it's clearly not iow state would be playing in Omaha as a three or four SE yeah I think so too and as you made the good point on Sunday the kraton aspect Cann play in Kansas Iva State's ahead of Kansas I would guess right now if if I was seeding the tournament or at least they would be on the same line Kansas bounce back and and beat Oklahoma State last night that totally expected big one on Saturday Houston at Kansas yeah that's what's what are we thinking there we thinking Houston GNA be about a well Ken palom as Houston is a five-point favorite a that'll be pick them you think it'll be a pickup it'll be a pickup look at this great slate though on Saturday that is a 3:00 tip iow State tips at seven oh and the women play it tip at one 11 yeah and you're doing game watches right yeah we got we got a game watch that inside inside Golf and ases they got ax throwing there they got indoor golf cool place boy the Axe throwings really becomeing thing yeah which I've never thought you know what I'm going to do today I'm gonna throw an axe I'm gonna get drunk and I'm gonna throw an axe I'm gonna get just hammered and throw sharp objects at a wall we'll be there all day or at least we'll have this is a great think about the first person who had a bar like and they're like I'm going to go to the insurance agent and I'm going to say all right we want to sell hard liquor and we want to open up an axe throwing location just put put a thing on the wall we really have a great slate of college basketball on Saturday it's a it's a one of the top slates of the entire weekend hold hold on I'm getting it pulled up I want to thank our friends at whiffles hybrids real quick we're kind of doing our whiffles big 12 segment right now they they they're probably hanging out around here somewhere I would think that they would be yeah well I saw the the early wine boys they they're whiffles guys and and I know that they're bouncing around here yeah no there's a I I can't I can't find the top 25 schedule but nonetheless Saturday a massive at 11: on Saturday you got you're going to be at the ax thr we're going to talk so inside I don't know when we're going to be there exactly but specials on as loggers all day and a huge percentage of all the beer sales go straight to the collective last thing for you where are we at on ticket sales for next Wednesday oh yeah we're we're doing okay we're we've got about 60 left so we'd love to we've had a good couple of days on that front so we love to sell those 60 tickets and man we just finalized a couple more special things that are going to be included with with everybody's ticket that you won't want to miss it next Wednesday at in anony we of a day that's four 25 on 25 matchups let start February off right yeah yeah no the tlex guys and gals have been phenomenal for us and I it's it always I'll tell you really inside baseball story of Psych and fanatic for the longest time the a community would not even look at us they wouldn't even pay attention to us and the Really post pandemic the switch is flipped because these Farmers now you know they're listen to this yeah they I mean there's a lot of these there's a lot of these guys that it's all GPS they're sitting in their combines watching Netflix you know like so it's it's just completely changed and it means the world to me being a I'm not an act guy but I've grew up around it right so I I I can speak their language enough and it's it's just really cool and we love being out here I've I've seen it's crazy to how many people I've known just walking around here I got here about an hour and a half early and just kind of wanted to feel feel feel around and it's been a lot of fun that's the crazy thing now is going to events like specifically a related there's so much crossover between Iowa State and and EG and engineering and this is kind of that Confluence today I don't know if we're old now it's like we we run into so many more people it's just like it's so like I I love being here and uh great people and literally we just walking around some of the booth and and see all sorts of Iowa state folks Rocco and jayen rco Rocco and jayen were here yesterday so was that a hit huge hit so I mean jayen is jaylen's only concern was can can the Drone help me fish that was his so jaylen's a big fisherman do you know that I think you've talked to J about yeah so he only does the farm P so he wanted to know if the the heat seeking drone could find the fish and they said maybe not these but that that technology does exist so we were talking with the uh the terplex folks we're going to try and do maybe an nil commercial where Jaylen null catches a punt dropped from a drone yeah who says no who says we make sure it doesn't like break an arm though that's you don't need that what or or don't need that Jaylen is in a fishing boat in the middle of a farm pond and then catches the punt and he catches the punt and you'll have the great visual from the chopper part of the Drone and it's churning up the water man and he can jump out of the boat and catch the ball meanwhile Rocco's cooking some meat yeah on the shore uh yeah we're out here at the Iowa a Expo awesome to be here with our friends from terplex all right let's I got a text real quick from our guy chip who's awesome he said the women's final is actually on Tuesday not Monday I misspoke so that's what I was thinking so if the women do make it in Kansas City Tuesday maybe your layover isn't as bad this is a nightmare for media I know people don't care but we're trying to do we're doing our best covering it for all you guys and it's a nightmare the Big 10 announced that starting next year there's three other teams AR even going to make the tournament which I hate well that kind of takes the takes the point away well yeah the whole point is like that you can get on these runs and I hate that I hope the Big 12 doesn't do that I absolutely despise that let's go over this 2024 Iowa State football schedule and uh you know favorable yes I think it's a pretty good schedule for Iowa State now you probably have the hardest game at Utah yeah that's that's the tough one that's probably the toughest game on the entire Big 12 schedule right is going to pre-season favorite on the road absolutely but outside of that like I'm going to just roll it through here real quick and then we'll and then we'll pick it AP part start with the start with the non-com a lot of people hey everybody don't have to play you and I this year no Northern Iowa thank God I don't stop scheduling that because here's my thing Norther those Northern Iowa people hate Iowa well David Harris isn't there anymore so quit funding their athletic I'm over it like all they do these Northern Iowa fans all they do is about Iowa State all the time they hate Iowa State quit funding them I'm I know it was the right thing to do for a while nobody else does it although they're down now so the game's gotten a little yeah but still like they're all condescending about it and they're it drives me crazy there you go so North Dakota Instead North Dakota North Dakota and then you got to go to Iowa and then Arkansas the the red wolves come to town so you do have a buy after the Iowa game which not particularly it's an early week for a crazy about yeah i' I'd much rather have that later there's going to be a lot of September 21st weddings or September 14th weddings that's my birthday I get the week off on my birthday about that yeah and Aiden eight I are both on the 14th that's wild do you know who else this is crazy I think I know this one no there's there's there one you don't know them early I think that's a team that that will get better I have no idea what they have and I'm not going to sit here and Li to you and act like I know but he's a good coach so they're going to be a lot better in November than September Bor at home so here's where I'm at on bayor is they were a massive disappointment last year they keep aanda I can I I don't know what to expect here like I I think we have a read on Houston the thing with Aranda is we've thought that they were going to suck before opposite world yeah so to me that game is a it I would pencil it in as a win but it's also like it wouldn't shock me if they have nil money you know like it wouldn't shock me if they're a pretty competitive team no yeah I is shapen still there left right like I don't so I you're right I have no idea they reshuffled the entire deck this this off seon like or the the administration basically told oranda you get one more year pal but you're you know and SE coordinators got to go everybody's got to go so it's it's going to be a different team I mean I really like I always say getting them in ases although uh game in ases two years ago was I feel like these early season Baylor games generally don't go Iowa State's well but this feels different Iowa state is going to be a at least a touchdown favor yeah I mean just based on right now I mean that's s to 10 points from a point spread perspective MH until we hear otherwise at Morgantown this is a lowkey the the game in West Virginia is going to be Circle that one everybody because I think West Virginia's got the chance and you talk to their people they're talking 9 10 11 wins next year I think that this would be one I pencil in as a loss not like a shirt I I said pencil I didn't say pen I West Virginia no one's talking about enough cuz they kind of flew on they had a nice year they had a nice year hell yeah they did and they came out of nowhere and they were tough they bring back almost I think a lot like Iowa State a lot of lot of players if there's an early season line on this one Iowa state would be and then I what I would tell you guys and I'm dead serious Morgantown on October 12th would be awesome like go do it people are so tired of us pitching Morgan I but nobody goes the best place it's the best place road trip in the conference right now I I telling you now downtown's kind of goofy like oh what it feels like you're it's like you're at the aex I mean plus like 5000 5,000 like everything's old in don't stay in Pittsburgh book it now and stay in Morgantown I I know this is weird and I'm not like a foliage guy I'd never call myself a Fall Foliage guy oh you you go for the trees but the trees there in October are really cool like it's like colorful moonshine I've never called Bloom huge foliage guy not a foliage guy but the foliage there is really impressive and you're in the hills and the anti foliage program in the Big 12 is Central Florida no foliage there but they are coming to ases that area oh okay we don't go we don't get to go to Orlando no I'm thinking about going to that basketball game in March though I'll go you want to go I got some contact there flight the Orlando and it's nowhere near Disney Disney by the way I ain't going to Disney well I'm just tell like people think oh Orlando's Disney no like UCF is basically in Marshall Town compared to where if de Mo was Disney FYI well the craziest thing when I was down there with basketball over Thanksgiving and Central Florida had a home game now this is the day that it so this was the pharmageddon game farmageddon game yeah but during the day it was Michigan Ohio State there's all these big games going on but I'm out doing some bar hopping and absolutely nobody cares about the central Florida game going on it what you couldn't even see it on the TVs interesting now granted I was kind of in the touristy area of Orlando so I don't think a lot of locals were hanging out but it was just wild to me so different than living in the state of Iowa Texas Tech at home I think they will be better than they were yes and but that that is an Iowa State game 3 to7 point favorite right now yep game yep Kansas in Arrowhead Stadium I love this I love this so much I already booked my uh hotels yeah I mean you probably that's actually a good idea we should do I'm looking at my wife's over we should buy get hotels well no we your your brother lives over there never mind um I already got mine booked although bad vibes an arrowhead yeah oh God or nod Alex all three of them who missed the kicks who missed the kicks it was social media but Tyson got a lot of love from the current staff and players for him taking that job I think every I think everyone is super happy just FYI everyone's very happy for Tyson in fact I was told like and I to the many within the program wanted the message that how important he was oh absolutely they love him there's not a bad no you can't say a bad word about that so you know I just like I know some people leave on different terms that was certainly not negative terms so this the the last two and you really just what kind of shape are you going into November 23rd the last two games will I think will largely Iowa state will be in definitely conference Championship mode like you both win both those much I think your chances to get in are are good I think that we're going to be talking about that the goal is probably to have one loss going into this right yes going into Utah on the 23rd if you can have one lost you got two games left at at Utah you're in and that's it I mean that's the thing like we got to rearrange what we're thinking now for for next year you win the conference you make a playoff and it just it's different like you got to kind of rearrange all of your your thought process there and I actually I like this because I always think it's it's two potentially biggest competitors the last two games you're going to know exactly where you stand going into November can you imagine Iowa State K State with a conference Championship birth on the line thus maybe a playoff birth will drum Tang being in a tennis Aaron is watching on Twitter I'm not telling you guys where I'm staying at the football game I'm sorry that just seems like a bad idea get that Airbnb like Memphis I am a huge Airbnb guy like I I I really hardly ever stay at hotels anymore do we get our deposit back for that for Memphis Airbnb did we take care of that place well enough I think we did we got a festar rating the reviewer gave us a five she gave she gave us a festar rating she knew to be honest I hadn't even checked to see if the I'm sure we did okay I mean Rob gray got a little out of control so between Rob gray and Conor Ferguson and one Airbnb for a week that's a hell of a combination right but you know schedule wise I'll never I I wanted to kill Connor it was the first morning we were there and I had the one bedroom that was like by the living room mhm Connor was up at like 6:00 in the morning playing the old PlayStation 2 March Madness video game like hyper loud like disrespectful all I can hear at like 6:00 a.m. is he's on fire uh okay so yeah then the Kansas State game on the 30th so all right down to Brass tax what's the number on this as far as win totals I would I would pencil it in at eight or eight and a half for the whole season yeah yeah I'm going to gu eight I'm going to say eight will be the number from Vegas maybe seven and a half or eight yes and I think I say can can certainly exceed if seven and a half I would take the over in a heartbeat and and I think you know you I just the makeup of this team what I say did this off season was huge huge dub huge win not only did they keep everybody but the Strategic additions in the portal that nobody's really going to talk about because they're not big headline people but every single one will help and add significant depth and I know everyone talks about the offensive line I just want to make sure people understand here you get them all back which is great including Jared Hufford MH who had a nice year this the discussion with Jared is Travis right but with Huff just real quick on Hufford if he develops and Clanton thinks he can develop even more he could be a you know a late NFL draft pick that's why he's coming back and I I believe him Jaylen Travis has an NFL frame he's the the kid from Princeton mhm um potentially a starter potentially yeah and then the the kid from uh from Wisconsin adds great depth could potentially give some run for a starter Barrett and nobody talks about it but dalen haer hurt got hurt in August and he was on the verge of breaking into that potential starting five so yes you do bring your line back but you have you know three-ish Folk that make challenge for a starting spot that you didn't have last year I would also make the point that Neil he did get better he well that's my point he struggled a lot in the first half the season in the back half he was pretty good yeah yeah so like I just think you're going to get a totally different guy you look at September it's like what happened like he well the line wasn't very good he didn't he hadn't played much now I think I think we're the Memphis game is still kind of on the back of every it was so hard to run the ball every like well okay but you know there is I think with this group you're running a little bit better with the skill guys and then I I'll add the I think the the Army wide receiver is is not going to be talked about at all I think he has a chance to really help this offense and I know they're pumped up to get him here we go are we it's we're only uh what are we seven months away it's it's disgusting when you look at the calendar it's January 3 spring game by the way is uh April are they doing one do you have some inside information are we doing one I we're doing one again yeah okay yeah April April 20th spring game yeah April 20th and then the uh big George Straight show coming up on uh Memorial Day weekend that's right Stapleton it's a George Straight show who Chris Stapleton is lucky to be on the card with George Straight who who else is there wasn't there like MRA douche country before it Little Big Town yeah douche country I'm not going to that one I'll sit out at the camper during that one and apparently I'm not going into that if you if you will make us feel really old I was speaking to my daughter's um it was like her second grade class last year and I they asked me you know these kids and they asked you who's who's the most famous player you've ever interviewed and I'm like have you guys ever heard of George Yang and they're like who yeah that does age us they're like and then I said Brock pretty and they're all like a you know go 49ers they all freaked out Jack are you a 49ers fan yeah yeah bandwagon you're just all over the bandwagon who was your team before Brock prie got there uh the Cowboys oh man you're a Cowboys and a 49ers fan yeah mess with both that's like Sac religious in many areas yeah I guess that's true but the Cowboys have been so bad for so long I guess come I don't need to hear a kid your age talking about I'm a Vikings fan you're lucky to be a Cowboys fan are you kidding me hey do okay go back and do when you get home tonight do research on the hersel Walker trade you know what I'm talking about mhm the worst trade in the history of professional sports for my but it built up your Dallas Cowboys the entire brand have you ever flown one of these drones a couple times Yeah couple times all right shity now you have a really interesting story I've heard it before yeah but you was it this was kind of your brain child right like didn't they come up with this whole thing in your shed or something like that like how did this whole thing start yeah I mean Danny did give me some some credit the other day that I maybe am the impetus for the growth here because they were storing their drones in our shop and it got to be April and then beginning of May and we were set to have a graduation party there like within a couple weeks and we needed to find a place for the drones and then that's when we moved into a place in town in od bolt yeah and that's how it all started and that prepared us for the season that was ahead well was fascinating to me about terplex is so a little bit like what I do where we we started this digital media thing probably before the market was ready for it and I I feel like when I talk to these Farmers they're all very interested in the Drone technology and there's a lot of like toe dipping going on in the last like year or so but it it seems to me like it's a thing that's just going to absolutely explode if it hasn't already yeah that is a great point because what we've seen at these farm shows is that farmers that were kind of Dipping their toes are now getting their feet I me it's like really changing the attitudes they're really seeing maybe saw their neighbors using the drones or heard some of the research that's come out about how they're increasing their profit profitability and uh they're they're ready they're ready to discover what drones can do for them whether it's they own one on their own Farm or maybe have a certified terplex pilot come and fly some of their acures so you guys do do that where if even if you don't want to own it you can rent somebody out or however that works call us you know we have customers out there that are doing their own custom app businesses so we can set them up with a pilot that we know in their area that can come or we can send one send one of our own Pilots out to to fly their Acres what I got to fly them we you guys brought some out before a football game in the RV Village this year and what was fascinating to me was just the technology of it where you could tell it where to go and you really don't even have to do anything yeah they're pretty smart yeah it's believe it it was It was kind of creepy actually it was like a robot up there but yeah yeah no it's really cool like you map out your field it goes out does what it does comes back to that same home spot you refill it change the battery it sends out it goes knows exactly where it left off comes back home it's it's pretty cool and aren't we in a mode too where it's like this thing's incredible now the technology but it's just going to keep getting better too like yeah they're they're continuously making software improvements that just increase the it's just like your computer you plug it in and you update the software and boom it's it's better the next time you go out there yeah no definitely it it's really neat and I'm I'm all about it I'm I'm really thankful that you guys let trust us with your brand and that we can help you and yeah you would be amazed at the amount of farmers that call in and have heard us on your podcast or you talk about us and so we're really uh proud to be a part of that thank you for thank here's the thing about them and this is why I don't think they win all of these games are within like two points of one another yeah when when does I st in him uh Saturday the 17th only once right yes and that is in Hilton in Hilton they have Cincinnati at home three-point favorite okay they're a dog or a six-point dog at Baylor mhm UCF at home okay that's advantageous to get that one yep they are currently favored to beat Kansas at home but that one could go either way it's a pick them yeah they you're right they got a lot of toss-ups so then they have to go to Hilton they get tiu at home who they just lost to last night that's a tossup central Florida on the road that's a onepoint spread the TC was two point spread this is all to Texas at home they're a four-point favorite but that and then they get they have to go to West Virginia and to Oklahoma State West Virginia Bill self made the great point the other day that if they would have had all their guys in the nonon their metrics would be through the roof so that that really if it's it's notched at a seven-point dog for Texas Tech that's more like a two or a three I from what I have seen in the last again it it changes week to week my opinion based on personnel and ability to sustain it's Houston Iowa State and Houston's clearly the number one but I I I do think I really do Iowa state has the most ability and Kudos real quick to to uh Woody and and Mahoney had a really good conversation about this I think Iowa State unlike any time in the last 20 years has a roster that can play almost every single style and still win yes and so you're going to get in ugly games I we've seen I always stay handle that okay you got into track me with Kansas normally when you get into track me with Kansas it ends poorly they were going shot for shot I always said had enough to to win you got a slugfest with Houston got that one done you you got in track me with depal I know it was depal and they're bad but whatever you destroyed Iowa like you have played and you've won almost every single style now the question remaining for iow stage is when you play a team like BYU who likes to spread you out that still is an issue I still don't not like that the way BYU attacked Iowa state that could be if you get if you get five Shooters against Iowa State it's just it's going to be difficult because they the way Iowa State rotates on defense that I think BYU gives Iowa State as much trouble as about any other team in the conference yeah and to the point I was just making about tech like that game for Iowa state is a two-point line so Iowa State's got some close ones too I have not nearly as many I think BYU I believe in BYU more than I do definitely more than Kate definitely more than Baylor I think I think B more than Tech I think BYU's right there at Kansas I really do really I like I like their I like how they I like their approach I saw all I needed to see from them when their coach came out with that soft statement after the horns down give me Bill self you're you're insane no I'm not I don't care about their charm and soft Arena policy I'm saying they're I'm saying that the players nine guys play hard and they're really good and they can all shoot I'm say I'm I'm buying BYU I'd fade him okay we'll see but I I was it's I was it is shaping up if it goes how I think it's going to go again we're already in February here it's crazy we're moving March obviously it's now in that 3 four line seed for the inst tournament if IV State continues to play well finishes second in the Big 12 you could get to that two line right like that's that's I think I was say could get all the way up to it too I really do and then you're an Omaha for sure and then you're an Omaha for sure now if you go to 108 still or whatever you're probably not going to fall any more than a f mhm so Iowa state has you just have to be in the top four seeds to get Omaha essentially I yes yeah yeah Iowa state has significantly highered its floor in the last 10 days you have now almost it would take multiple home losses really multiple home losses to really get you out of a top six find the the next Road win okay we've got like five more minutes I think I say can win on Saturday okay I do too so Baylor would be one I would put out there I don't for for some reason I feel like Texas is going to be tough on a Tuesday night and that's weird so Iowa State uh to my knowledge is staying down in Texas yeah that makes sense so more likely win at Baylor or at Texas you'll be a bigger B bigger Underdog to Baylor yeah I you're right the the consecutive games that's a weird situation I better chance to beat bayor way got some confidence too I agree with that I do not think Texas is great though I it might be hard to play there yeah you can win there I don't I haven't watched them nearly they're tough they're they're like all the new teams I feel like they're the one I haven't seen they would be an RC Cola
