Governor Abbott says he has activated additional emergency response resources in response to a potential storm in the Gulf this week. Centerpoint Energy says it is also monitoring the situation. Troy C class joining us live with more on Center Point's preparations. Troy Marcelino, thank you. I'm actually here where I'm in front of one of the temporary debris sites that the city of Houston is using where you can actually see crews have still been dropping off debris here at the site and this is from the past two storms that we've experienced here locally. Meanwhile, Center Point tells us its customers that it's trimmed trees along 2000 miles of power lines. Now, they say across the greater Houston area that they have also installed more than 1100 fiberglass utility poles designed to stand against stronger winds, especially compared to smaller wood poles. Now, they have also launched a new outage tracker that they say will update customers on restoration dates and times in the event that we may lose power and they are encouraging customers to stay informed and again, make those arrangements in case you may need continuous power throughout the storm. And I did reach out to center point to get a comment from them, but we're still waiting to hear back right now. Now, meanwhile, down along the coast, they are actually taking some preparations down there and I'll have more details on that tonight. At 10 reporting live, Troy Kkhou 11 news. Troy, thanks so much for that live report.
