and Ria Jackson might be the second best rookie in this class and you guys call me crazy you guys call me crazy I got killed for saying this about a month ago like I got absolutely killed apologies hopefully I mute my mic in time there but I literally said in a redraft so I made a video talking about the old um the 2024 WNBA draft class and what would basically happen in a redraft and my redraft went Caitlyn Clark one number two Ricky a Jackson like I did and people called me absolutely crazy because I don't know I really don't know I really don't know why but still I guess um if you guys need Pro proof number one on this video was Caitlin Clark number two Ria Jackson number three was Angel ree but Ria Jackson yesterday didn't really play in the fourth quarter because again I'm going to make another video about this what the um the Sparks are doing is the most Shameless tanking I've ever seen But Ria Jackson like look at his offensive game like she's got the offensive game that like no other rookie has as far as just ability to score from multiple different levels again she's not as good as K Clark but she had 16 or four for four threes in the first quarter like again she's probably the second best shooting rookie in the class and you want to say she's shooting better than Caitlin Clark she shooting a lower percentage on easier shots but still like if you're looking she can handle she can pull up she's what 63 she can play a three she can play a little bit at the four like absolutely insane she is an absolutely incredible player and if you are to Sparks if you can manage to get page Beckers if you can get page Beckers you are sorted and I mean that like absolutely sorted I Hami is 31 you might be able to go out with a lineup next year of Ria Jackson a Max contract player because I assume a few of your players are at a contract there's no way and there's no way you don't have cap room with that lineup you're going to have page Beckers then you're going to have Ria Jackson dere gambi Cameron Brink with just get a two guard there and I get it like like the Sparks couldn't even keep they couldn't even keep um NECA wum but it's not the greatest organization in the world but they play in the freaking Staples or crypto Arena I can't believe it's still they haven't been forced to change that name but um they're still playing in that Arena and like it's a b it's they're in Los Angeles and you've got who is going to be a 20 point per game scorer at some stage in her career like Ria Jackson is the only since becoming like a starter and getting good minutes the only rookie to scoring more points in is Caitlin Clark like she is getting very close by the way might be saying oh it's only 12.4 she is getting very close to becoming the second leading scoring rookie and is she going to be top two in rookie the year voting no will she be rookie the year most years no she would have rookie the year the last time in onion Wares here it's not like she's a rookie deer but you can see didn't start five games only playing 27 minutes a game at the start she was playing a lot less and like decent actually your three-point percentage has gone up to um 35 it was like 31 yesterday she's doing a low volume so obviously maybe her going six for six bumped it up 4% I think did she go six for six yesterday um I'm not sure either way either way like she has been ridiculous this season she's been absolutely ridiculous and like no she shot 75% for three each so she went six for eight that probably bumped her up a few percent so she is the best three-point shooting rookie I guess but again she is 62 with length can score in the post she's got touch she can go left she can go right finish with both hands can pull from mid can shoot the three is athletic is fast like look there are two rookies who have a much better motor than her you've got the best passer in the WNBA you got the best rebounder in WNBA you've got Caitlyn Clark who is the best rookie guard there's best rookie point guard there's ever been so like obviously she's not the best in this rookie class but I think there is a legitimate argument for her number two I think there's a crazy legit argument for at number two and outside of in the last 10 years since 2014 the only better draft class than 20 2024 is probably 2019 a 2019 was a stack draft class like 2019 was Jackie young um who was in that it was like Jackie young F Holier arque Marina ma um Megan gustofson was like a second around pick like this year's draft again the top seven picks could all be Allstar and I think Le lon's unbelievably good but like of course number two pick was a bust in his draft but like Jackie young arque F Collier Alana Smiths basically an Allstar eie magor is an All-Star then in the second round you got um Sophie Cunningham Megan Guston Marina mayry Bridget Carlton um she didn't play much in the WNBA but cahor was is a great player Kennedy Burke um obviously Guston hanzu leeu is in the third round um obviously Katy Lou maau you maybe argu their bus but they're both decent players same with colani brown like this is a stack stack draft class so it's probably not going to be this stacked but like other than that other than 2019 there's like no other year where the draft even comes close to this and again in a redraft I still think the spks I've said this I think everyone in the top four will be happy with their picks the problem is is that you're obviously Angel ree is not falling to seven again so they'd have to take her at three but if I'm La I probably would Ria Jackson would be the first choice and I think they'd probably take Cameron bre a four with Angel re going a three so I think the top four or the best four rookies all go to their own teams only problem is like what happens to cardoso cardoso probably then goes five to the wings even though they don't need and they probably just get off maau um or she goes six to the mystics and Dolson plays the four and I don't know what happens to cardoso in that because there's no the next team without a big is like The Links at eight and imagine if cardoso felt at freaking eight and went to the links that was never going to happen but still this has been a ridiculously good draft class and the way riy Jackson's been playing look she has been I know she's not getting 20 rebounds a game but she has been the second best rookie coming out of the Olympic break obviously Angel ree is second rookie of the year but there are three guaranteed guarantees for our rookie first team or the all rookie team and it is Angel ree K clar and R Jackson and Ria Jackson is showing that not only that that she's probably going to be an Allstar again like the all rookie first team could all be all rookie team could all be allst Stars next year like Feit cardoso Ria Jackson um K mlar and Angel Ree are all players in with a sh shot to be an Allstar next year which is crazy
