Fall Chill And Heavy Rainfall Kick Off The Weekend Across Ontario | #forecast

a fall like chill is upon us as we head into your upcoming weekend but it's going to be followed by a bit of heavy rain across parts of Ontario as well as the risk for some non- severe storms is going to be embedded with the overall rainfall moving through so yes some lightning a bit of Thunder some heavy rainfall and strong winds will be accompanied with this overall thunderstorm threat it's going to be coming in two segments here's the first one approaching a cool front early Friday morning into the afternoon hours from Windsor all the way to banro including the GTA this is going to be a slow moving system so starting to move uh continuing just well into the evening hours the second pulse moves in after 8:00 hour so Niagara uh skimming the shores of Lake Ontario up into Ottawa this is going to be wrap around rain along that low pressure system and it will continue with heavy amounts of rainfall really impacting parts of eastern Ontario just west of the Ottawa Valley into early day Saturday it will slowly start to come to an and as we head into sat Saturday afternoon rather there will be pockets of some scattered showers as that cooler northwest wind starts to push in behind the rainfall now the heaviest amounts will be in through parts of Northeastern Ontario uh Northern Quebec as well 30 to 50 or 75 millim of rainfall Friday into Monday parts of Kingston into the nation's capital 30 to 50 millim of rainfall for you 20 to 30 is possible across parts of the GTA here is that colder air that is starting to move in this weekend temperatures are going to be 5 to 10° below normal Saturday and Sunday [Music]
