president has been uh very consistent on this he believes that American steel companies ought to be American owned neon Steel's proposed acquisition of us steel currently under review by the committee on foreign investment in the US Bloomberg news reporting President Biden now is preparing to block the Takeover formally as we await findings from that cfus report was this deal as good as dead pretty much I mean at this point I think we're just waiting for the official announcement from Washington and uh as as you as I sure you've seen uh on Monday Cala Harris came out and said publicly for the first time addressing the situation she was right in line with what Biden has been saying this year uh she said this deal quote should be stopped um Trump has opposed it JD Vance has been opposing it uh the unions from the get-go were opposing it so this seems like the final mail in the coffin
