met in the middle because he is so much larger than she is she's my height I'm about 5'6 he's got to be about 6'2 and she looked taller than he looked but that's well certainly she was taller than him by going and by going and greeting him and and it was a display of confidence on her part as well and he and the other thing that added to it last night was that I thought was one of the most disturbing parts of the whole thing was he wouldn't look at her right and so you know even when he was talking about her he kept looking straight ahead when she was talking about him he wouldn't look at her and and he didn't do that because he's so uncomfortable he was woman well I think look I think it's debating this woman now I can tell you that when I Was preparing him in 2016 he had enormous respect for Hillary Clinton he used to say all the time she's really smart she's really tough she's really good he doesn't think this about vice president Harris wrongly but he doesn't think that and he displayed it he displayed his lack of respect does it have to do with a skin colar P chance no I I don't think that's it in and of itself I I think it's I think it's is that a part of it I think it's that she's vice president you know the old Jo ch right like a woman had two sons one went to see the other became vice president neither were ever heard from again like people don't respect vice presidents they go there and they have to stand behind the president andd but then why do he keep saying you didn't did nothing for the past four years she had the power she doesn't have the power well that exactly and if I were her I would I would have said that I said you know look in the end last night she did what she had to do yes she did which was she's the Lesser known person with the Lesser profile she needed to show those undecided voters that she belonged on that stage and last night she showed she belonged on the stage and and that's why look I saw her campaign put out a challenge for a second debate right after the debate please stop yeah that'll happen do not toy with perfection don't do that really seriously like you get in the ring against a guy who has had more presidential Bas than anybody in history and you knock him around yeah raise your arms go do two rallies a day raise some money and go home man you know don't because nothing great can happen for her in a second debate she either do as well as she did this time okay or he could do better I have to ask you like like where were you and how how did you feel the moment when he said they're eating our pets well I was sitting with my wife watching it and we just burst out laughing like like you know I I looked I said I can't believe he went there I can't actually believe he went there like he's following around Dopey JD Vance right like on that issue and even JD is now saying well maybe it wasn't exactly well and and and the last part of that is he threw his vice presidential candidate into the bus last night people haven't talked about that that much but he said well he wasn't speaking for me and we didn't talk about they came for Pence's head and he didn't defend that so I'm not surprised but but see here's the bigger part of this right Sarah is that that should tell voters that if he's not there for him he's not going to be there for them either that's right and that's much more guy in conclusion last night's debate was a revealing moment for both candidates showcasing not just their policies but their interpersonal Dynamics vice president Harris proved her capability on that stage while Chris Christie highlighted the discrepancies in respect and acknowledgement between them the unexpected comments like the infamous they're eating our pets certainly added a layer of absurdity to the discourse as voters it's crucial to pay attention to these subtleties what's said and what's unsaid because it reflects the candidates Readiness to lead so as we move forward in this election cycle let's stay engaged question everything and ensure our voices are heard at The Ballot Box thank you for joining us and we'll see you next time
