hey guys welcome to Hilton Head Island South Carolina bur Church treasure hunting today I'm going to be doing a little demo of two different sand Scoops the two that I use first one is a ckg it's obviously a little bit smaller sand scoop carbon fiber shaft not the biggest basket ever but nice and light you can take a lot of holes with this thing without getting tired goes for about $200 next one is the mighty T-Rex this is 9 1/2 in width front to back carbon fiber shaft as well huge basket a very very heavy had just searched for a few hours using nothing but the T-Rex but it is very heavy it is exhausting um if anybody has either of these shovels or Scoops I'd love to hear it if you guys want to comment if you have a prefer scoop or a better place to get one um you can see I use this for a couple hours this top part is already kind of opening but I'm probably going to end up taping this anyways but what I'm going to do I'm going to show you guys what kind of scoop you can expect out of each of them starting with the ckg so as you can see you're not moving a ton of sand foot going in there not a very deep hole but again this thing is so light that you can dig a lot of Scoops with it so it always helps for me to have a backup I'm going to go here to the big T-Rex and you can see it moves substantially more for the size but I'm very interested to hear what Scoops you guys use please give it a comment and if you have any good recommendations um I would recommend if you're starting out or if you're a little bit older in age the ckg scoop is fantastic because it's light another thing I really like is it comes apart into two so if you're traveling you can break this down into two pieces where this T-Rex is one solid piece there's no breaking this off this is one solid Mass nice closeup of the ckg also you can put a little spinning handle here if you want it I don't suggest that but it's very strong I've dug through clay oysters all kinds of stuff this thing doesn't even have a dent and I've used it dozens of times goes without saying this one T-Rex is a monster you couldn't Dent this thing unless you hit it real hard with a sledgehammer but again price-wise you're looking at about $250 just for this aspect of it and the shaft itself is about $180 carbon fiber to help keep it light but altogether this thing without putting it on a scale probably weighs close to 10 lb where the ckg probably weighs 2 lbs but give a like Please Subscribe it helps me out a great deal if you guys have any comments on which scoop you prefer let me know in the comments below give it a big thumbs up thanks for joining on to the next hunt best of luck to you
