hi I'm Juliet Lewis I'm Esme cre miles and we do love Cinema hi we love Cinema my name is Elliot Lester I'm the producer director of the thicket which stars Juliet Lewis and Peter Dinklage it is a wild ride into the American West and it's freezing cold so wrap up warm it was minus 20° when we filmed I thought I might die [Music] they can expect 100 minutes of a wild ride into a very specific area of history with very unusual characters to be very emotional because it's very sad but in an adventurous exciting way because of the characters the storytelling and PE [Music] PE ellot is as a director is like so he is really good at getting people to be super excited and enthusiastic about things I think that's one of his um I think that's one of his gifts as a creative I think having someone trust you really makes you trust them it's kind of a reciprocal relationship to have you know people like Peter Dinklage who is so incredible who was at I didn't know Juliet was cast I think when I was first talking to them I'm such a fan of hers as well so like having these amazing people be involved and then them also like think like you you could be a part of that as well was so flattering and exciting for a young actor for me when I first read the script it was a dream part I was really excited by the challenge of it and so that was really interesting to um create from the scarring on her face to how how does she appear to be a man how how is she tricking people in this way the films that Juliet has been a part of always been a part of my life in childhood so I was really Star Struck when I first met her we worked really well together for me it was very special and surprising that I was reminded of my dad on a daily basis because he was in a lot of [Music] westerns I literally had one scene with him but he was very kind and gentle and patient and obviously very good his performance in this is so breathtaking and um [Music] beautiful Hannah Montana when it was coming the the years it was like coming out like it was my Breaking Bad you know as as an 8-year-old which my parents were really unhappy about the earliest movies I remember was Rocky Horror Picture Show I was 11 years old and a lot of these things inform me in my creative South Rocky Horror Picture Show and I think has influenced me really influenced me because it's such it's so truly insane you're the Littest man I ever seen you're the ugliest [Music]
