on September 11th commemoration is taking place we bringing you there live Shanksville then back in DC the Pentagon and then of course there at the 911 memorial site those families pursuing accountability as well even still from Saudi Arabia accusing its government of being involved in the attack 15 of those terrorists were from Saudi Arabia Ron Chapman a former US Marine Corps attorney good morning gentlemen thanks for being with us my bud Ron let me start with you more than 3,000 family members of 911 victims are demanding both former president Trump and vice president Harris oppose any Middle East peace deal with Saudi Arabia unless it acknowledges and is held accountable finally for its involvement in the attack on that day your thoughts on that well certainly in the images that you showed were very sobering um I I was in college during 911 and found myself at the Marine Corps Recruiting Station ultimately ending up in Afghanistan and I too want to see some accountability for Saudi involvement just like those families here's the reality uh we have that that video from a Saudi intelligence agent we have a reception held for the hijackers um many of them who arrived in the United States were greeted with the reception and we have the 911 Commission report sort of disavowing any Saudi involvement whatsoever these families are simply asking for Saudi Arabia to disclose what involvement they have and the contents of their investigations and right now they're not saying they were involved at all and I think that they really need to disclose and I think that that's something that the next president must address and make sure um that these families are able to uncover because many people want to have answers chap been joining us today for this special coverage thank you both gentlemen we appreciate your time
