we are here at imts 2024 heading in to the super tech F to talk with Marco about a new size idod grinder that super tech is featuring here at the show let's get in there to learn some [Music] [Music] more hello everyone we are here at imts 2024 in the super tech Booth talking with Marco about super Tech's brand new grinder that they're featuring here at imts Marco I'm going to turn it over to you why don't you tell us a little bit about this grinder and the special features that you guys are bringing with this technology yes thank you okay so my name is Marco I'm the applications engineer for supertech I've been working with it for 17 years and we're going to talk about this machine okay so this is our G25 p75 cam grinder we use a linear mottar on the x-axis for K High accuracy and surface finish a high tolerance we use a double spindle uh direct drive for profiling and regular spindle for regular grinding we use The Botch control to be able to do the software upgrade and um we use a Delta software for the program as you can see here it's showing you the what it's actually going to do as it steps through it it'll create a simple usage for the customer with their 3D model that they would normally provide we already have three machines lined up that are going to go probably to Brazil bu to for a project of 10,000 Parts a month ready for you know for production here at imts fantastic and I know you kind of gave it a job example of the production size but do you is this machine more suited for the larger jobs higher production or can it be fitted for a job shop as well so this actually could be fitted for a Job Shop it need be this is a regular size we go from uh the small size which is 25 in which is 10 in height uh swing on the on the work piece but we go up to 30 5 I mean 38 mm uh 4 12 in 15 in swing and we could go higher and longer we could go 15 which is a 20 in 40 in 60 in you know as long as we need to and another thing too I know you guys have a a strong presence here in the US what about training and service that you guys can provide after the installation and as people are getting their trained up on the machine yeah thank you for asking that so basically what how we do it is we have five service guys in our in our in our office in Los Angeles we work with dealers all across America and South America and Mexico and Canada we work with them we train with them so that it makes a transition for servicing when it's something we teach the the dealers and their people how to you know repair the machine as something goes down make it simple for them and when it comes to something major then we we step in we make the trip when we do the setup and training normally on a CNC machine it's included depends on how many days or what they're asking for so you know I think pretty many of our customers are pretty happy with that it sounds like that would be a pretty good deal yes all right Marco thanks so much for being with us and if anybody wants to learn more about your guys's new Grinders or any of the other grinding technology that you offer what website can they find you at they could find us at supertech usa.com awesome thanks so much for being with us be sure to stop by the super tech Booth here at imts 2024
