[Music] we welcome you to the floor of the big house Urban Meyer Matt liner our analyst Mark Ingram Matthew mccon Brady Quinn robone wait a second did I just say our analyst Matthew MCC the role he was born to play college football analyst particularly when things are going the way of the burnt orange your impressions of the first half uh there's a lot to be happy about with this first half on both sides of the ball um I think we can easily say number three is pretty talented is he yep and the quarterbacks and the coach uh Mr Meer how about the little backup step UPS cuz the the defensive line is getting to him he stepping up in the pocket made a lot of plays doing that and he didn't do that as well I didn't consistently in the last couple years really poised back there uh both sides look really good I mean the rotation of receivers that we have coming in the different looks all the time the speed and the defense is still smothering defensive Line's allow well done you had a future hold hold this we're going to show some Quinn 's highlights take us through the highlights all right take us through the video tell us what you see on here through the video tape through the video tape Bo it's back okay flush down creeping right but he's still looking turns his zp throws one wide to the space who's there touchdown that was Gunner Helm from 21 yards out Gunner Helms having a hell of a half too steps up again steps up did not go for there we go that's the step the back and then stepping up like you were talking about aving that pressure right because the pressure's getting there yeah but he's stepping up in the pocket and still Mak it still make making plays before he's crossing the line of scrimming that's right and he's done it quite a few times and so the Poise back there he looks great receivers are getting open o Line's giv him just enough time to do what he needs to do our running backs we're down we got another run running backs what's story on Blue right now on the ankle they take them up but he went he taped up and he's back in So Weisner came in and did a damn good job too the running back looked great catching the ball the running backs are catching the ball out of the back field really well too yeah and like I said defense holding we let let average probably what four yards four and a half yards a carry yeah but nothing explosive nothing big and they're not getting anything in the passing game so looking good the strength of the Wolverine defense last year is they rotated n defense alignment you don't see that right now Texas is blocking the war overing defense line they just don't have the depth that they had a year ago and you can see Texas changing the line of scrimmage throughout the first half so if we play with the intensity right now to the second half would you say that'd be a bigger Advantage for Texas in the second half because Michigan doesn't have the rotation to put in a new nine and they'll get more fatigue possibly is that fair to say that's absolutely yeah and I think Texas defense you talked about smothering under 100 yard the two takeaways and it was no bigger than Michigan's last drive cuz they were getting the ball at half time they get the fumble scores uh seven points yep and like you said man I I'm just pleased and impressed by these backs everyone was concerned about the injuries they had with their two backs with this Trio of Weisner Gibson and blue they've been controlling this game they've been making plays to give this offense an identity yep and so I love the performance of these B no we're not we're not that we are not in any position to be forced to pass the ball uh we're passing the ball well but thankfully our running backs are keeping us where we can run SCM I've heard enough you're hiring do do you want to come with us next week to Madison Wisconsin oh who's who do we got next week Wisconsin but you're coming along with us buddy great the man know football man hey thanks for watching if you enjoy that clip make sure you click subscribe somewhere down here from game highlights to exclusive interviews and rankings we've got everything you need as a college football fan right here college football on Fox
