[Music] hello my name is Bella Rossa you are watching the latest news of the world SNL drafts internet personality with Philly ties Jane wickline internet personality and comedian Jane wickline best known for her Tik Tock sketches will make her jump from phone screens to TV screens soon wickline who lived and worked in Philadelphia as a copy editor dating back to 2021 has been cast for the upcoming 50th season of Saturday Night Live she currently lives in Brooklyn wickline built up her reputation on Tik Tok where she's garnered nearly a million followers and 45 million likes on her short form dry humored videos dating back to the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic she was part of the cast of the Tik Tock Live sketch show staple view which has been called the Tik Tock version of Saturday Night Live she's also one half of the variety comedy duo Dukes with Liva Pierce Dukes recently went on a mini tour with stops in New York Chicago Los Angeles and Philadelphia where they performed at Johnny Brenda's an NBC blog post about Wick Lin's addition to the cast also notes that she plays a mean trumpet she's one of three new cast members joining fellow rookies Ashley Padia and Emil Wakim SNL star Khloe tro exits show was not asked back Saturday Night Live is adding some new stars and dropping one the NBC sketch show show announced Monday it has hired three featured players for the upcoming 50th season Ashley Padilla EML Wakim and Jane wickling but Khloe tro who joined SNL last year announced she won't be returning to the show in an Instagram post the comedian 27 made clear the exit wasn't her decision unfortunately I was not asked back to SNL this season tro wrote I wish I was going back to be with all the amazing friends I made there it truly felt like home but it wasn't in the cards she went on to thank everyone who supported me adding I hope I was able to spread joy and laughter all love onwards and upwards some of tr's most notable performances during her one season run included a sketch where she played an orphan singing To The Moon which had timoth shalom's face in it and a cold open where she played rep Elise stefanic during a congressional hearing about anti-Semitism on college campuses thanks for watching
