hey everybody I'm just cutting a a quick video at Steeler Dynasty podcast now before Wednesday uh we have Wednesday night we got to talk a little bit about our punter we lost Cameron Johnson for the season so uh all the bill burn jokes and the Brian Burns jokes um or out the window right now um we uh as the Steelers sign a former Steeler punter okay he's a familiar face to the Steelers they resigned coris c r l i SS waitman fiveyear veteran who already had two previous stops with the Steelers he's 29 he signed with the Steelers in April of 2020 as an undrafted free agent spent the 2020 season on the practice squad resigned with the Steelers late 2 21 season after two stints with the Raiders and the Patriots okay he made his regular season debut uh week six of 2021 against the Chiefs he had two punts total 121 yards including a 63 yard boom in 2022 he was a member of the Denver Broncos he led the NFL with 96 punts while averaging 46.6 yard per punt he also won AFC special teams player week of week six okay so I mean it's a it's sad that we had to deal with this offseason injury to Johnson uh we signed him uh in the off season from the Texans he was hoping to uh you know get our puning to where he was uh look it was he got blocked into uh people were saying it was a penalty he got blocked into um if a could have would have I mean it sucks but I mean he's out for the season we have um you know he he was 32 years old when the Steelers sign him because they released uh Percy uh Presley Harvin um and uh he led punting in 2021 as a Texans but he averaged 51.5 yards on two pun Sunday we'll be missing that but the Steelers signed a new punter and hopefully we just start driving the ball and we don't have to punt so much you know hey the boss punted that one punt was pretty good and in boss we trust but now we have to get the holder the special teams all that stuff situated in in practice this week because we're going to Denver Mal High Stadium who cares we're going to Denver tune in Wednesday nights myself and Shane 9900 p.m. at Steeler Dynasty podcast you are listening to bad Bubba Brewer and Steelers Dynasty podcast go Steelers
