questions have been posed to Dave Roberts as to whether or not sh Otani would be available out of the bullpen in Playoff scenarios I was alarmed mostly for otani's sake for the risk of re injury which Dave Roberts did address he said the guy hasn't thrown a high leverage pitch in over a year I'm reading between the lines here but it would have to be a really dire situation while Otani will do probably anything his team needs to do to win I doubt Dave Roberts is going to put him in to pitch ever during the this postseason he said he wouldn't close the door on every opportunity where he is on the first year of a long-term deal no way they're not going to risk that I mean it would be like an absolute Brak glass in case of emergency situation
