It was nice out there. But when you looked out into the Atlantic, you saw these big clouds and then the showers as well. So it wasn't an all day wash out of the beach, but we had some showers moving on shore and I think we will have more of the same for our Labor Day. Thank you to Jason for sending in these photos, this photo to our first coast news weather Watchers, Facebook page. So here's a look at radar right now. Most of us are dry. We still have those offshore showers though, still popping up and they could move on shore throughout the overnight hours. Again, not a wash out but spotty showers moving on shore like we're seeing right now near Jekyll Island right there in Georgia. So again, we'll watch out for those showers throughout the overnight hours. Rain chances aren't at zero. I'm gonna hold them at around 10 to 20% as temperatures drop down through the seventies lows near 75 degrees tonight, we could have a bit of fog tomorrow, especially across Southeast Georgia. We will watch out for that in the early morning hours of our Labor Day, but, and it will burn off and it will be a very summer like day for the unofficial end to summer Labor Day forecast shows us quickly heating up to a high near 90 degrees. And yes, those rain chances are in the forecast, especially later on in the afternoon and early evening hours. So this model shows us that we could see those that coastal activity again into the afternoon hours and then later into the evening, perhaps seeing a little bit more development. But I can't stress this enough, not a wash out, just have a shelter nearby if you do plan to get outside on your Labor Day because we will have some thunderstorms around. And if you hear thunder, you of course, need to move indoors into safety and shelter. But your beach forecast high near 89 feeling like 100 degrees. A moderate rip current risk out there. Rain chances are only going to increase into the middle of the work week. We will see numerous to widespread showers and storms for the rest of the work week with a surge of moisture. It's nothing tropical heading our direction. When we look at the tropics, we do have three areas of concern. This one here, a medium chance of development. And it's heading into the Caribbean. And then this is a low chance of development that's bringing rain to portions of Texas and Louisiana. And then we're also expecting this tropical wave to move out into the Atlantic off the coast of Africa into the Atlantic. Also a low chance of development there, but not a surprise that we have three areas that we are watching as we get closer and closer to the peak of hurricane season, which is September 10th. So September 1st, we're really just 10 days out from that peak of hurricane season. And the next name on the list is the F name Francine and then behind that will be Gordon. So again, three areas we're watching. None of them have a high chance right now though, just one medium chance, two low chances we will watch it closely. Here's a look at your most accurate seven day forecast against scattered showers and thunderstorms on our Labor Day with highs near 90 feeling like around 101 degrees and then more rain on the way into the middle of the work week, the jo.
