I was born with one finger on my left hand I had a lower left leg that was curved in and towards my waist I had surgery at about three years old and they amputated the leg right at the knee took the big toe and put it onto my left hand so I went from having one finger to then getting a second one I could pick things up I could hold things but then getting a stump now that could fit into a prosthetic much easier than before I grew up playing just about every sport there was basketball soccer football whatever was in season I was playing it at about 11 years old I had an outof body experience Epiphany type moment where I decided that I wanted to be a par Olympian because I was watching the Rio 2016 par Olympic Games I committed to myself that I would be the greatest paralympian of all time and then every everything I do in my life is to get me a step closer to that goal so at the end of the day winning gold medals breaking World Records is amazing it's fun I hope to build an amazing Legacy but what's more impactful for me is what goes beyond the sport I want to use Sports as a catalyst to normalize disability
