Nate Dear talks about 'Dare to Hope', and the deadly pancreatic cancer that took his Dad's life.

g'day guys night deer here son of the light all day um just here to send a message um around the dead hope matches that are going to be played across the board uh through our senior signs down here at by Morris and Hawthorne V Carlton um we're really just trying to create awareness around pancreatic cancer and how deadly it can be set to be one of the deadliest by 2030 killing more people each year than uh Road trauma breast cancer mnd all these things that we associate with debt yes it yet it just doesn't receive the awareness or funding um look it's it's so common nowadays and yet in the last 40 years there haven't really been any any improvements in the um in the in the research behind it in in terms of a cure or longing the life of the people with it um I just really really want to get get the message out there that this this cancer is deadly and and it's most likely going to affect you at some stage through your life whether you know someone with it or it's it's a close family member so really just out here to sort it if you can donate please it's um it's a good cause um we just we just need to get the word out there and the funding so that we can start to create some awareness and get some cures or something that's going to help people live a little longer with this cancer um so yeah just again first of July um I always saying your sides dead a hope match get around it donate if you can um appreciate it guys thank you
