South Carolina vs Old Dominion Postgame Live Reaction!

all right what's going on Gamecock Nation how y'all doing how y'all doing tonight South Carolina's fresh off of a victory going one and0 to start the 24 25 football season that's correct South Carolina held on and beat Old Dominion 23 to 19 just a little bit ago South Carolina as I just got done watching coach Beamer uh post game interview so like I said it end the stream while ago this is just basically a live post game show just talk a little bit about the game anybody wants to come on here if I can figure out how to put the link on here I'll put it on here for anybody wants to hop on and uh vent your frustration talk about it whatever the case may be we'll talk about it if nobody don't want to come on here I just talk to myself so I'm used to doing that so um according to my uh one of my earlier streams feel like I was talking to myself a lot so it is what it is I'm just up and coming starting this out trying to do these live shows so uh just putting myself out there so um like I said South Carolina creu well not Cruise South Carolina come back and uh and won the game 23 to 19 over Old Dominion um not a lot um how can I say this some of my takeaways from the game defense let's start with defense let's go ahead and start about some of the bright the bright spots of the game defense our freshman Dylan Stewart as advertised five star kid hell of a player man hell of a player hell of an athlete um got a game ball from coach Beamer as he should um Dylan storeart played his ass off tonight um had a what he had a sack and a half one and a half sacks uh forced the fumble there at the end to kind of give us the ball back to take the lead so Dylan Stewart has advertised man hell of a player what's up deu how you doing brother welcome in to the postgame show uh just something new I'm trying so going to talk about the game what we saw um and if I can like I said if I can figure out how to put the link in here matter of fact let me go and see if I can try to do that while I'm waiting waiting to see if anybody else jumps in let see if I can figure this out copy and paste let's see if that works hopefully that works if anybody wants to come in and uh vent nothing to be mad at but themselves why you say that because of the expectations are too high I mean at the end of the day what has been accomplished here nothing yeah the first two years of his tenure he was coaching somebody else's players okay last year you got the best quarterback in the country one of the best quarterbacks uh your offensive line can't block it's just lack of development of players but but everybody cons themselves okay so don't be don't be mad at no one but yourself yeah I see your point real backy expectation what's up Brock Le how you doing brother like I said I think I figured out how to put the link on the screen so if anybody wants to hop in and frustrate or vent your frustrations or whatever you Bo welcome to as long as you ain't trying to uh do anything I mean there's a lot of lot of we got a lot of fans out there that has unrealistic expectations now myself I went what six and six on my prediction with a selling of what eight yeah we we win four we'll be lucky yeah well what I saw tonight yeah if we win four I I'll be amazed unless we just drastically improve between now and next Saturday I Yeah by what I by what I saw tonight Vanderbilt to beat us okay oh yeah yeah that's what I said earlier man Vanderbilt they they kind of worry me right now what's up Palmer boy movies commentaries and reviews that's a long that's a lot to say but hey Brock hey Palmer boys I just call you Palmer boys how about that yeah yeah we just shorted up a little bit around here um but yeah welcome back Palmer boy he joined us earlier in the Stream in the live stream of the game so welcome back um hey deck I didn't even see deck hey deck yeah he's up in here as well um but yeah we we got a lot of fans out there got so much unrealistic expectations of this team and going into the season we I think we all said or most of us most of us down to earth um fans Not the sunshine Pumpers or some of the people that have uh lofty expectations of this team um we I think we fed into some of the hype coming out of camp or they did right and I didn't but keep going no I'm saying they did the people that that that believe we got an eight nine 10 win season ahead of us you know them them fans but the the people like you and uh myself and rooster and jackpot and some of the other people you know we this is a team that starting a a red shirt freshman as a quarterback he played in four games last year I think it was not really a whole lot of action so we really didn't get we didn't really get to see the real Len nor sellers right we didn't see make mistakes we didn't didn't seem uh play against uh I guess great competition I guess you could say when he came in his mop up duties or whatever and Old Dominion they I took him for granted honestly I'll be real with you I took him for granted I thought we was Gonna Roll in this game and I know you told me to pick pick Old Dominion in the challenge but I'm stubborn and I picked South Carolina I had faith in them but um we we started like I said we started a r up freshman and Old Dominion until we get our offensive line re refigured out we get a better offensive line coach like you mentioned earlier I I didn't see any Improvement on that area well if you don't if you don't mind let let me give you my opinion of it and um you know Chuck I respect the hell out of you and we're friends we talk every day but and I'm not going to sit here and say I told you so because you want to make fun of me by saying that earlier and that's fine that's fine it's all hey it's all fun man I I a I do the same thing occasionally but at the end of the day you know I have inside information by myself and my family you know we're considered big boosters inside information and I tried to tell everyone and I tried to be polite by saying it don't get your expectations too high now don't get your expectations too high why did I say that not just from what I was told but I mean even the public information that we are given okay the people that cover the Gamecocks which blow Sunshine up your hinding yeah were even questioning okay I is this group really better because it doesn't appear that they are is this receiver group better because it doesn't appear that they are um all of these questions have been there and then you have to look at the resume the resume of the head coach that is making these decisions you can't blame the players here the players are doing the best that they know how to do okay what what they're coach to do I'm not blaming the players but you're dealing with a guy which is a I know him personally one of the best people you've ever met in your life okay Shane Beamer is but he is nothing more than a CEO of a fundraising event that that he is a highly paid a $6 million year paid fundraiser and he he hugs the necks and kisses the babies and he preaches about his culture and people get on here and they bite into it hell include myself they bite into it but at the end of the day nothing has changed nothing has changed our offensive line coach was the assistant of the offensive line coach under his toage and you expected it to get different no yeah he's recruiting top 25 but guess what the rest of the SEC is recruiting top 12 so that still puts you at the bottom of the damn SEC and you cannot develop talent you have proven that time and time again the only time you've ever won was what was with someone else's players yeah um yeah going back to recruiting like you said we yeah we getting some talent but the the tal the amount of talent we get does not move us anywhere near the top of the SEC we still down towards the bottom we never we're we're about mid pack to bottom at SEC when it comes to overall recruiting so until we start uh Landing some of this five star guys and I'm talking about more than just one every year every other year We're Not Gonna Get No Better no we're not and you know at the end of the day Beamer's not going anywhere people if he' have lost this game today he is not going anywhere let me explain to you why let me explain to you why because the program has more money coming in from supporters and boosters than it ever has before since the Steve spur era okay and 880,000 people packed the stadium at 112 degree heat index today that's why yeah yeah can't argue that you can't argue the fact that you know Beamer's not still packing the stands and I don't know if that's just I don't I don't I can't explain l i mean I'm a loyal fan just like you are I mean I don't I don't go to games like you do because I don't have you know season tickets but I'm loyal I watch every Saturday in front of the TV watching every game they play um basketball baseball all the other right I'm not to that level you are but I am loyal to my Gamecocks and I don't see how fans do that week in and week out and yes sir talk it does hold 880,000 people if you count the the ramps when they're standing on the ramps yes sir it does still hold 880,000 the capacity is 76 but it holds 80 thank you sir but my point was I mean South Carolina has loyal fans and people come every weekend spend their hard money like like Beamer said a couple years ago in a little video they put out right about taking the fans up the stands and or not the fans the players up there and telling them about it and the fans show up for this team right and they deserve a good product on the field so you know Chu I love you and I'm I'm gonna say this numerous times you know I do and I know this YouTube thing is important to you it's important to Rooster it's important to uh jackpot is important to hell even other teams uh you know what I'm saying but to me I don't care I I don't care about YouTube and making money off of YouTube I state facts okay and facts are facts are nothing has changed and everybody people and I'm not blaming you I'm not blaming rooster I'm not blaming jackpot but at the end of the day people that get on these social media sites and claim oh we going you know we going to be better than we were last year what on paper even tells you that what on paper even tells you that nothing nothing yeah no Mr Todd I did not renew him this year I I'm focusing on doing more YouTube live shows and stuff like that plus the travel the travel was kind of for my family and missing church on Sunday it kind of it's kind of hectic so last year every game was like at seven o'clock last year seemed like so anytime he wants to go to the game Mr Todd all he's got to do is let me know because I'm glad like hell I watch dubs come in this evening instead of carry my ass to Williams Bry Stadium yeah I would have like I told you earlier I i' would have been a little ticked off if I went to that game and and sat there sweating my butt off to to watch that performance defensively I mean defensively outside of what two drives outside out of two drives the defense played really good okay I and again and again that that is hanging on to something we were playing the local high school okay so if this happened play in high school what you think's GNA happen when we run up against Kentucky next week we're g to get our poop pushed in that's what I said on my show a while ago if we play the way we play t not right we gonna get run all over next week I'm not saying that we can't get too high on this win as far as defensively but I mean every fan wants to hang their hat on something right and I get it I get it but reality sometimes slaps you in the face if you keep continuing doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result that's the that's the definition of ity as long as everybody keeps doing this to themselves I mean what the hell are you doing but kicking your own ass and disappointing yourself that's why they make anxiety medication and everybody's on it for that same reason oh yeah I mean I and I'm sorry I'm not being I'm not upset with you I'm just I I expected this I mean I told you I said listen take Old Dominion take Old Dominion why did I tell you that because I knew I knew I knew that it was going to be a one or two-core game well guess what it was a four-point game yeah I'm stubborn I'm stubborn I always I always go against what anybody tells me most of the time so hey am I dumb behind took over 50 how stupid am I well see now why did you say it's gonna be a close game if you gonna take the over because it was gonna be I told you you thought it gonna be a shootout I told you the score was going to be 35 do the math here uhuh the score was gonna be 35 to 37 to somewhere between 17 and 21 do the math that's over yeah so you so you thought it was gonna be an offensive explosion well that's how you scored in points I thought that we would we would score a few more times than what we did well yeah I did too I thought we score a lot more than what we did but we did but yeah I mean it was yeah in in truth really be told the points that we did score they gave them to us yeah I mean that's what I was going to say that's what I was going to talk about um both of our touchdown was short yardage touchdowns it wasn't like we drove the field you know everything that the two touchdowns that we got was because of fumbles it was nothing that we did offensively to get down the field to score a touchdown and and I'm gonna say something else now take the offensive line because y'all know what I think that that's just trash that's the coaching is trash there okay the scheme is too complicated they're trying to do too much instead of okay if you're blocking a run you block the guy in front of you if you're blocking a pass you might shift time or two and block the one to the left or block the one to the right they are making it too complicated that that is a Marcus S field [ __ ] is what that is that that that's what that scheme is broken it is broken with that being said our receivers y'all now listen I'm not I'm not blaming the young men they're doing the best they know how to do what they've been given but that's a joke that's a joke I'm sorry if it hits your ass if the ball hits you between your knees and your shoulder pad you need to catch it I mean that's what receivers do gotcha uh TLO said I don't think it's as bad as you think it looks like they lack chemistry welcome TLO I don't think I've ever seen you in on my T love never seen you before but you know what if you're right then you ought to hate the team because all they talk about is how good the chemistry is inside of the building yeah they do they do pop a a lot of that chemistry love and chemistry so uh Scott Colin said it's the same year after year now listen I hope everybody on here that doesn't know me knows that I I am I am considered a booster a donor my family okay I'm not beating up on my Gamecocks I'm just as frustrated as you but I'm a realist I prepared myself for this because other than people pumping sunshine these are facts and everybody's known it okay everybody's known it yeah but yeah anybody wants to jump on I posted the link earlier in the chat up at the top of the chat so if anybody wants to come on and vent talk about the game got more than welcome to hop on I just ask that you don't do any up seen stuff to get the channel taken down that's all I ask well if I ain't doing it and it ain't getting taken down well you ain't showed no uh yeah you ain't showed no skin so that's usually what happens when they shut you down show who would do that there's a lot of people out you a lot of weirdos out there man got a lot of weirdos in this world you know we are in 20124 so lot lot of weird people but you know going back to the game um rocket had 20 24 carries 88 yards and a touchdown um lenorris had 22 carries 68 yards and a touchdown um going back to the wide receivers like you said earlier um Dre Jacobs he he had I guess the best night of all the wide receiver two catches for 59 yards outside of that it wasn't a whole lot L Norse only had 114 yards passing on uh 10 completions to 23 attempts so not very good night as far as passing I'm not sure if we was just focusing on just run run run um trying to establish the run I don't know if that was Beamer's Mo you know game plan going into into this matchup but uh the passing game just wasn't there tonight so well and I'm gonna say this Tommy Wallace don't know you thank you for tuning in sir a win is a win sir that that's when that's when five wins you're happy with okay reality at some point has to slap you in the face like big Bary Ross just said on the video I I dropped I don't know guess 30 45 minutes ago the only per the only people you can be disappointed in is yourselves by expecting any different from from the coaching sta yeah I mean because again I'm GNA repeat myself again because a couple of but in here if you expected anything different than what you just saw you were kidding yourself because the only two seasons that they had success was with another coach and another coaching staff's players they have yet to develop any player under their toage people say zavier Legette Spencer rlo guess what zav Legette had been in the program for five years yeah five years Spencer Rattler came from Oklahoma already established and the ones that that that that actually did spur and it's it show a little spark they transferred yeah tell me tell me I'm lying big Barney Ross said old division is a good team Z's defense showed up so that's a plus this could have gone the other way very true big Barney Ross he also said play calling was a little weird yeah it did seem uh play calling was very was pretty play calling was very weird but at the end of the day big Barney they were playing the local high school okay the local yeah um let's see Brock Lee said he just hopes that Beamer that if Beamer does bad this year the Administration has the balls to fire him and set a standard for South Carolina Beamer is in year four and this is what he has to show for it he should be unemployed um I just explained that to you Brock Lee and you know that already sir you know that you know that you know he's not going anywhere you know he's packing the stands he's bringing in the money he's got more boosters than we've had since Steve sper he's not going if he'd have lost this game tonight his damn seat wouldn't have got hot of run plays where receivers weren't blocking where they should have been or the tight ends weren't blocking like they needed to be and if they would have you know sellers can't trip up Juju I get I'm not [ __ ] on sellers because I think he is he is he's amazing and he is going to be amazing um it's just going to be a work in progress I think I think we all kind of knew that defense was going to have to win some games for us um it just sucks that it had to be against ODU um it it does but um I I think I'm not going to totally [ __ ] on the o line I think I I think they did better I I don't think like I'm not GNA sit like I'm not GNA sit here and say ODU is a Chattanooga because ODU is actually a pretty damn they're they're decent and you know for what level they play they're pretty damn good I know they six and six last year but that team that I saw out there tonight was was pretty good we a lot of times I think we just shot ourselves in the foot I mean let's think about it you got was that downfield what were you doing man you know what I mean like what did that what does that go back to Chris fals and coaching coaching knowing knowing what you're supposed to be doing can I tell you something with the with the talent that ODU has yeah they were better coached than we were sir oh there's no no [ __ ] doubt about that I mean they they for I'm not going to lie I thought they gonna win it they lost me some money tonight well G yeah they did they did because they fought so damn hard they they lost me about $500 was on the over but guess what I won cuz I took him with the points sir oh did you yeah I knew I shot myself I mean I came out good tonight I think I wanted like 200 and something but I did take some losses on the Carolina side that's not good and you know go going back to that fake field goal they knew that was coming too uh knew it they knew that play Beamer said that in this press conference if they got to the left hash mark on the first field goal to they were gonna call that should have known that it was coming that's a mental that's a mental breakdown by that offensive line and can I tell y'all something had had he not been down the field we got away with a damn push off okay oh yeah oh yeah offensive pass interference yeah I mean that is textbook offensive pass interference I thought so too I was like I don't know if you're allowed to be pushing him like it it it wasn't called but it was oh it for sure was in my eyes in my sight now I to me I just I hate to say it guys but if sellers runs that ball like he tried to on ODU he's gonna get smacked you can't run him like that I mean you can't baby him but at the same time he sometimes he just needs a hand it off it's this an option play hand it off well he had H he had Happy Feet and oh yeah but that's to be expected I mean he's a red shirt freshman that that's to be expected but my fear is if he gets hurt we know who's coming out there next I'm not saying Ash is goingon to be you know I just I fear for ashra taking over until I see different you know what I mean maybe roer and I got in a big argument about a month ago month and a half ago and I told him we were live and I told him I said listen man I said if we run this guy the way y'all want us to run this guy the way that you know the Run pass option it it the running whatever you want to call it yeah he's gonna get hurt this is a 19y old kid this is SEC you know it's ODU and I had some moments where you know you know if it would have been rler rler took some damn hits I'm not going to lie in the back field but he he didn't he didn't run himself to where he knew he was going to get it [ __ ] smacked you know he he he was he he was pretty careful with himself um yeah but where the hell are our receivers at I'll tell you where they at they my size brother they 5 foot eight 5 foot n hey they can run like hell but they can't catch [ __ ] and and that's what even even the B the ball thrown to Harbor though that [ __ ] was thrown up like 8 foot in air you know what I mean like you you got to come on you got like I'm not sitting on sellers but at the same time and maybe it was just the Jitters of being the first time starter in the game maybe that's what it was but if we go up there and we play like that with Kentucky they go push our poop in sir is not gonna be good and I'm hoping this is a learning curve for us because if we get the offensive side down D I'm telling you this could be a 10- win team well let me well well I hold on a minute I want some of whatever you smoking or drinking no I'm I'm saying if you get the offensive side down and you got the defense playing like that it's a winning team I mean well well let me ask you this the defense played like that against who sir OD you okay thank you how how many and how many points did they give up 19 19 yeah more than what I thought they would I think I C them at 14 imag imagine we were looking at a uh let's just say let's throw a team out there a damn Vanderbilt right now well van Vanderbilt would have hung 40 on us today I don't think so I disagree I disagree did you not watch the vendy game today yeah did watch vendy vendy yeah I kind of agree with Jordan they would have hung more than 19 on us I tell you that I say it's more than 19 I'm not going to disagree but I'm not g to say it's gonna be 40 I don't know if it'd be 40 but yeah they team I say they uh for the amount of [ __ ] that I thought they lost last year they H I think they should have kept them players and I just went the same route they were going you know what I mean I was liking the way they were going uh listen I'm not trying to upset you or disagree with you I'm a realist I've been watching this program since all right the very first game that I can remember going to was in 1985 okay I've had season tick yeah I had I've had season tickets since I was 18 years old let me do the math on that real quick and I tell you how long I've had hold on I'm about to find out how old you are go ahead yeah hold on let me think I've had damn I've had season tickets for 25 years that's a good beer you're drinking there sir I'm drinking Ultra myself I'm drinking water but at the end of the day we are our own problem okay I put a video out yeah problem and I go watch my video I don't know if you know who I am and I don't care that a lot of people watch my videos it doesn't matter to me I do this for fun because Chuck and rooster and and jackpot you know we're all friends I do it for fun because they allowed me to come on you know last year and then that's how I got started making videos I tell you from the inside of being a donor between me and my family I tell you the inside of what I know and I try to keep it as real as as I can instead missing some let's see Rob said B said that anybody thought the o line was the problem tonight don't know football because the problem resides outside the tackles meaning the wide receivers like y'all like somebody said earlier was it you Chris yeah WI I think it's a little bit of both but um I'm not going to totally [ __ ] on the o line but the line does have to be better for Kentucky oh yeah definitely um Dylan Stewart Mark said Dylan Stewart is the man who they thought he was yeah Dylan Stewart played his ass off tonight man he had a hell of a game thought Rob said they don't call hand stuff anymore y'all watch the Colorado game oh yeah that Colorado they got away with some P stuff yeah t t love said t the drops are my biggest concern who dropped that one long pass when they called Holden yeah he's a transfer Jared wasn't it Jared Brown that wasn't holding that was a Le that was another man downfield wasn't it no the one that dropped the pass was the uh transfer from Coastal Carolina yeah but I'm saying that would have been called back regardless because it was legal man downfield correct yeah yeah if that's the one he's talking about yeah yeah it's still the the amount of drops and that's what my concern it was a little bit it was just like Sellers and the receivers just weren't on the same page at all yeah sellers looked off tonight like and I think his only saving grace was being able to run what he could run you know and taking it pun his self um I I just don't think the trust has been built up between him and those receivers or tight ends yet can I tell y'all the biggest positive I saw tonight I'm gonna be positive here yeah we got a damn field goal kicker hey I that was my biggest worry I'm not even GNA lie you know after that press conference I like oh [ __ ] guys we might not be able to kick a [ __ ] that boy listen they didn't put a whole lot of faith in him or obviously they were playing mind games with him but that damn first one he hit he could have made got some it from 60 was he three for four yeah yeah yeah and you know I started I I was telling my wife I'm like damn are we becoming Clemson you know how many field goals you know they kick usually you know damn we becoming Clemson now you know [ __ ] like damn get you you're on a drive take it to the house you know like what I keep going back to in my head is the two the two plays where you know Juju is running he I mean I'm not you know he's a small guy but if he gets out on that edge and he could do some damage you just can't trip him up listen ju guu in my opinion in my personal opinion he's one of those guys you want on your roster yeah okay he is a game caught guy and like you said if he can shake loose and a damn so Gonna Catch You no he's gone yeah he's not looking back damn good no and see that's why that's why I told you I wasn't taking Clemson in that Georgia Clemson match up man no way their offense their offense ain't shown nothing no you know just like just thinking about firing deos Sweeny which is the third one of three sitting coaches in the college football playoff ERA with a national title they are kidding themselves number one yeah number two is if easier you know I know we get a couple bi weeks in between but um it this I I think last year's schedule was easier than this year's yeah I mean yeah and yeah seems like it is so and and I I don't like to talk about old news but uh I mean like I was I've been saying from the beginning I think if rler would have stayed another year I think he ended up in a great place but I think if he would have gave it another year his draft stock would have Rose tremendously yeah R to many quarterbacks yeah rler fell farther than I thought he would but he's in a good spot he landed in a good spot I think I think he need to be yeah New Orleans don't have no quarter he's about good for about a half a season and uh yeah I think I think Rattler's right where he needs to be and don't be surprised if he ain't the starting quarterback here probably oh before midseason oh I think so I I just from the drives I've seen him put I've seen some things that didn't look good but I've seen there there's just too much good in his talent um especially where he can put that ball I mean he he puts the ball right there at you don't matter where what type of receiver you are he puts it right in your chest I mean right in front of you wherever you need it yeah and to be fair to Rattler he he wasn't out there with the first first team either so no put him out there with the first team he's Gonna Shine and you see what would happen that's what I want to see I want to see the first team out with him yeah I want to see him turn around hand the ball come out and have the wide receiver weapons that they have and that's what I want to see from him but he's in a good spot I think I think going going into the NFL draft was probably the best choice for him now yeah I would like to have him back yeah but he just he just don't like to see um they're just G there's going to be growing pains I mean that's what that's how it is when you have a new quarterback oh a lot of gr and that that's what me and Jordan was saying earlier about the expectations of some of Gamecock pants yeah they having too much high expectations this young guy we only saw what four games mop up Duty last year from sellers so you can't you couldn't really get you couldn't really get no gauge on how you really going to play in because the the stretch levels can't be the same no you are the guy you know you're the guy that's got to get to the end zone yeah you're the guy leading the team this ain't you ain't up by 30 points and you just coming in just just you know running out the clock yeah yeah you in there for the full game you in charge of the offense it's all everything's on your shoulder it's a whole lot of a whole lot more pressure when you that guy instead of just a guy coming off the bench yeah you know you're gonna win you know you know you're gonna win so it's not you know you got a it wasn't the prettiest thing theight but yeah it it was what it was um I think I think we saw the nervousness the oh yeah you know in the sellers so I think so and that that that should change over time yeah I just think everything's kind of still going fast for him yeah but I think it'll slow down and I just you know he he's a if I don't see what I like I'm taking off and I I I don't want him to stay too long in the pocket but I would like him to wait a little bit longer just to give the receiver an extra extra few seconds to bust loose and if you don't like what you see take off you know yeah um I just think it's going really fast for them so it's a if I don't like what I see right here when I hike it it's I'm gone I'm I'm I'm taking it rather it's three yards or two yards you know or 15 you um what what really what what disappointed me and they said I think it was a communication error was how the quarterback ran right down the middle for OD oh yeah that was just terrible you know it was too much Edge play and not middle play you got to contain the middle too you know you need somebody every yeah everybody got sucked into the offensive line and just opened up the middle open midle wide open yeah that was like that's like the only two that was one of two Busters on the defense yeah that the uh D let the man get behind him on that uh 72 yard touchdown bomb so yeah I didn't uh I didn't like that either but if it's if it's the only one I can live with it but if it's uh like I said Kentucky so far I'm watching the game and uh we'll see I fig I'll watch some of this game just kind of see what we get to look forward to but I I do agree whoever said the comment was uh what whoever put the comment out there that what was it uh you know dialog and kept in vanilla I I I agree I don't think the Playbook was busted open I would I would have like to see some more jet sweeps though I would have liked to seen some more I don't know some down the field passing man some some more like intermediate routes yeah I think when we went deep Lenoris was just off I think we should have toned it down a little bit and had some some little intermediate rout intermediate routes instead of build the confidence you know yeah get there yeah I agree some short passes the medium and then try deep pass on first down or something when you you know something mix it up I didn't I didn't like how it was like we were all just whistful hoping on Sanders running the ball like that like that's the only thing we have you know Sanders or sellers that's nothing um I believe we got receivers it's just G gonna take a minute oh yeah I believe you too um Brock Lee says sellers doesn't notice wide open receivers and he has four [Laughter] eyes oh I I that takes me back to I just think it it takes trust you know and that's the one thing I didn't see I was Russell out there because if you notic last year s you know sers and Russell have trust together if you saw it last year you saw the Deep ball straight to Russell you know and sometimes it's just it might not be the best Russell might not be the best receiver but if he trust him I'd rather take a shot with him than don't take a shot at all right that's right yeah I didn't I didn't see him out there at all I don't believe he may I didn't see him I didn't see him nothing that pointed me out and I just to me I think Sellers and him I don't know I was at one point it was I trusted the coaching you know the coaching decisions but I'm about like I said earlier they set us up for two short yard touchdowns outside of that there was no long touchdown drives so that and our field goal kicker yeah so that was it that and fi kicker s like I said I had a long day streaming to Clemson Georgia game and stream to South Carolina Old Dominion game so it was a long day long day of on here and I figured I go and do this post game just just to talk about some things um I'm not gonna beat up the defense too much yet Old Dominion but we played pretty solid on defense had five sacks and four turnovers we didn't even talk about that a while ago but had four turnovers and five sacks so actually saw some good things I saw some good things from the edge Canard and Dylan Stewart both of them guys are ballers they play hard I hope Dylan Stewart's just cramped up a little bit and he'll be okay to go for uh for Kentucky next weekend but overall I was impressed with the uh the talent we brought in defensively uh Knight the guy from uh they came in from Charlotte Demetrius Knight the linebacker he played good uh Dylan Stewart had a hell of a game freshman um KY Canard played good uh the defensive line played pretty solid all not other than outside of them two bust the defense played pretty pretty good tonight I'd say offensive line still a work in progress um I was kind of hoping to see more out of the offensive line out of you know opening holes for rocket to run through and uh giv uh uh sellers more opportunity to throw the ball and also create lanes for him to run in as well so we saw shades of last year's offensive line for this game most of it anyway so hopefully hopefully we'll see an improvement going in from from week one to week two and uh let's see Tod wi says Stewart will be in every passing play oh yeah yeah he's a hell of a rusher man he get around he got around that end pretty good tonight so looking forward to his uh season and how it progresses but just true freshman so he's gonna make mistakes just like everybody else but I'm I'm excited to see what he does this year uh yeah Rob you're right everybody hit that like And subscribe button share the Channel with your Gamecock friend that's today so they're running behind as well but we head off to lexon next week on next weekend to take on Kentucky I want to say that's a 330 kickoff if I'm not mistaken I have to look at the schedule but it's it's an afternoon after afternoon game on ABC I believe so looking forward to heading to Lexington well I'm not heading to Lexington but I'm looking forward to the team going there seeing how well we match up with the Wildcats um the offensive line they gonna have their hands full next week they G have their hands full next week with oxidine and uh Walker the big defensive tackle for um the big big the big defensive tackle for Kentucky they going have their hands full with them two guys so we'll see we'll see if Beamer was correct in his postgame remarks like Rob said that it wasn't really the offensive line with the problem didn't seem to be the offensive line it seem to be outside of that so we'll see if he is on to something or just blowing more smoke up our rear end so with with see though you know you never know it's going to be a good match up next week against Kentucky looking forward to it and uh uh Rob said do you remember what the name was for that traveling guy traveling around graveyard show guy Nate something oh man I wish I is Nate I don't know Rob I should have D hopefully hopefully he subscribed to my channel I need to look him up yeah that's an
