The New Orleans Saints Pre-Season Recap & 53 Man Roster

TV that yeah it's been a long time coming it's been a long time coming yeah it's been a long time coming what's up what's up what's up everybody welcome back to hudat TV you here with Dre Sav and Ken of course again back again back live for another uh recap on the preseason and of course y'all know we gotta get into the the 53 man roster that just dropped yesterday of course but um before we get into all that man what's up y'all what's up what's going on man man we getting closer bro gol the season a little bit more man you in high school football coaching and everything so you feel Seas a little bit early bro yeah first game tomorrow we going live baby yeah you said you said the kids had you turned up earlier huh K you want he that we we oh boy we was that yeah I know y'all remember that boy was in that locker room going crazy I don't know if they get down like that no more man n they be slapping them hips nowadays man that little Uzi SLA he got the little Uzi boy that's go no man I'm happy we finally man look I thought I Hold On man it's storming outside I thought I got popped real quick anyways man uh yeah I'm F I'm glad we here man I'm glad we finally in the season yes sir man it been it been a long long ride to get here with all the changes but we finally here and man I could I couldn't be more excited man um let's talk about this preseason though man yall know we got to recap this preseason off and um what's y'all overall view on this preseason uh I mean one of my overall views I think the biggest one for me I think it's gonna be everybody everybody was just like watching Spencer honestly just watching that little that that QB battle with t Spencer and um uh God dang it Jay yeah uh because I I think we all talk about Spence but I feel like not as many people talking about Jake because he was he played played well preseason um I think we just like what uh I like what Spencer brings to the table and he has I think Spencer has like such a hot ceiling and that can be tapped into if um obviously coach correctly so that was kind one of my biggest takeaways just watching Spencer uh those those few games um I could I could really go I got one more but I'm gonna see if y'all say it first and if y'all don't I'll say it what you think what you what you like about the preseason the most s um I like the running game man dude this against the Titans I mean it's the Titans but do we we put some yards down on the on the ground it looks good uh to give defense um a different look you know um some run pass option or whatever uh to give us some play actions down the line so we can open up our big time receivers because I feel like that's where our offense thrives is the receivers so I think the Run game look looked decent enough to say without Alvin being you know the main guy yeah yeah I'm glad you said that too because man we had a lot of backup running backs or really running backs that's trying to make the team too as far as kabot and uh Mims you know I mean like these dudes was out there really competing you know for a job and um you know we gonna get into the 53 man roster and all that but um yeah I'm glad you did mention that man because like the Run game looked promising um our biggest question mark was of course the o line is still is the question mark leading into this season we still got to see how this is all gonna shape up but um I like what I seen too man uh as far as you know our new upcoming players you know that's what all the preseason is about it's about the young players you know seeing our future for the team and um shoot if that's our future what I seen this this preseason man I like it you know I like it a lot even though he went one and two but the the wins and losses don't say it all man it's you know young young players here and there what you really Keening in on to see what like I said what your future looks like right looking at these these highlights in the background well I waiting to see and like J Kan didn't look bad y' like I'm looking at some of them throws he's making like I know I noticed him and at Perry though they got a really tight connection man I don't know if y'all noticed that but you know how I feel about at boy that's my guy that's my guy that's my next Jersey I told y'all when he got drafted I said that boy a boy that way far as that's all I need to see oh look look mind you that run game right there was that kab yeah yeah kabot was e practice squad y'all so like that's good news you know that we kept him around cuz he was toting that ball good Lord he was toting that ball you know who he remind me of a little bit like that's like the way he kind of run he kind of remind me of Leonard yeah how he always fall forward always getting the extra just the way he run but Ms is nice too y'all we didn't see Ms this game but man Mims is really really nice or did he play he against the Titans yeah y want to know about my I'm looking forward to seeing you feel me my guy that boy n that boy n [Music] n little little little baby n Joe Joe you ready for that fantasy bro man oh yeah let me look that's why that's why I'm over here doing now I'm getting all this uh this stuff finalized who' you say uh who was the wait make sure think we got like four more spots left oh Dante was in that League that's who I was for yeah yeah I was trying to figure out who the other uh I knew that was some bodies I was forgetting yeah we back hey n he is it n you talking about that's puka puk's brother right yeah yeah man he almost what about that house oh almost house call he almost took I can't even say house call but the almost look what it was about 90 90 100 something yards he almost took back man and got tripped up last second by a tight end coming from the back chase them all the way down man across the field Dante Davis yeah make sure right yeah didn't play that well though man he came in hot he was like man I can't tackle him so I'mma ATT a player into him exactly exactly and he he angled it Sam cuz he was on the other side he was on the other side he came all the way around and then angled it back this way and it angled him out like this until like you know I mean the met him right there at the pil line like perfect where he had to step out man I feel like bro n he should have like stopped or something and hesy you know Bo him a little hesy bo they gonna fall over and run one move they gone play you them one move so I don't know I guess he was just thinking like momentum like if I just you know throw my momentum into the to the I get it but he said we gotta do a live 40 no way I get last this year oh my mama that's why I was doing again that that was lit he gas he did get gas for sure I I could kind of tell he was Gass one from that move like like half of the field and he made a move and like came back and I was like oh he losing it yeah he should cut he should cut more RT he had no more RT hey the setup was perfect though s and Ken I don't know if y'all saw the setup he caught that mug he did the he L look you got all everybody go to the right you got nothing but o l you got what let's see by four five five lineman on the field trying to chase you so all you gotta do is and shift directions on them that's it yes that's it and that holder and that and that kicker so that's like that's that's over half the players that's not trying to really hit or at least can't hit you for real if you if you really like that so so besides besides the uh Spencer rler and Jake Kaner Battle of course or before we move on from that who y'all feel like is qb2 question yeah well I'm you know my bad I thought you said who I feel like was the starter shots I see you I see where you at there I see where you at um no there no doubt Spence man Spence completely came out and uh that last game Titans game really stamped it you know um had was the talk of Talk of the Saints of course it was all over Saints Twitter Facebook Instagram alante Taylor even made a comment to to Spen like dang boy you all over you all over my feed or whatever you was running that offense nice and and he really was man he was on point flick of the wrist he can make the ball go down the field don't even really he's not even putting no arm effort into it so I can just imagine if he put an arm effort into it how far the ball gonna go down the field uh that goes well with our speed wide receivers as far as rasid Shahed and Chris alive and and Alvin CRA out the back field so I mean the the future look bright for Spence man um you know of course we got to see he gota stay under you know learn learn the system I know everybody want to see him now but we didn't pay that DC 100 something Mill for no reason dude is our QB one for right now that that is what it is it's stamped it's not g Spence is not gonna start right now so all the saints fans could just wind down with all that talk I mean I get it you know it's a lot of hype and Spence but at the end of the day D cars our guy and you know that's what we rolling with so um yeah man Spence look promising though man I like his future and uh but like how Ken mentioned early man Jake Hanan he was he was competing too he showed he showed a lot of bright side you know or or you know upside should I say to be a backup QB I see Spencer being a starter one day and I see Jake Kanner being a nice backup that's what I got on it yep most definitely I don't know I feel like it would be smart if if Jake canner was a qb2 and Spencer and Derek Carr was just had a rotation into the offense and we can just rotate them and have packages where they can like both play and get both get playing time where we can give the offense a different look so it's just not like oh okay D cars Out Of Tune like maybe will maybe Spencer valy will come in and maybe he would do something hopefully he'll come in do something he been sitting on the sideline icing for three quarters or whatever so hopefully we can tie something into our offense where they both can get playing time and then quote unquote U Jake kanyon would be you know qb2 in a sense if you get what I'm saying I tell you this man if dere Carr and I don't wish injury on nobody but Derek Carr get hurt and Spencer rally get in that game and he performs like we know he can perform cuz I mean Spence was doing this with with second and third stream guys man so just put him just imagine putting him with a Chris alive and rasid Shahid you know that that ball alone that he threw to uh was it St Brown and it hit his forarm like he didn't get his head around to catch the ball and it hit his form bro a la a Rasheed they catching that all day all day bro I seen Chris alive catch crazy passes last season like five of them highlight tape from last season so it's like yeah man like Spence got it bro like Spence really got it and it's there like I said he just has to it's it's little stuff that he's gonna have to learn of course that a rookie don't know and but as far as like the potential and the upside completely there bro hands down there hands down but uh it's good man that's it's a good thing it's a promising thing for the Saints to have huh when the last time y'all seen quarterback that we can look at and be like man we might have a future there you know feel that way about jamus I mean oh that boy sad man n look look I felt that way about I felt that way about jamus to a t like like when he was when he was when he came out that Green Bay game and put up five touch I said man I gotta see it again if I see it again then I'm I'm be but of course be seeing the same same old jamus since we're here let's have this discussion guys me and Dre you know we we talk all the time so we just having this discussion later earlier this week he's saying Dre saying if like everybody does not like da we all know that is what it is we want him gone yeah he's saying that if d coming has has a perfect season that everybody's Gonna Love Dennis Allen oh Dennis Allen she he's the best and all that me personally knowing football no still get him out of here like nah dude like you're get get it out of here like what I said though s what I said though I said if da carries us this year to the number one to I'm just or not even car okay let me switch up my words you got we to restart the whole show this said look look if da as a head coach takes us to number one seed in NFC and on top of that takes us through all the way through the playoffs let's just say the man takes us to to the Super Bowl alone bro everybody's not gonna be on that fire well I'm not gonna say everybody a lot of saints fans the majority of saints fans is not going to be on that fire de A Train That's what I said sa said he he not those he still gonna be on that train even if the man was to take us to Super Bowl and I said man I don't know like dude in his fourth what third fourth years of her or head coaching he takes to the Super Bowl I mean third or fourth year of head coaching Co coaching head coach for the Saints I'm not talking about not talking about his track you he didn't he didn't had a chance to do this before he didn't had a chance he's proven that he's not a winning head coach so and this is facts right there Joe M like I feel the same he will be fired you know if we don't get to the playoffs for sure he is on that you know he is on the line to being fired but man I don't know I just feel like I feel like the I feel like this year bro with Clint QB because we didn't see everything we wanted to see in preseason I mean of course they don't show everything you know they GNA show nothing we the basic plays but like I said I I just got to see how this season goes man I'm not going to get on the slander da slander like they said the the excuse was to hit the uh the coaching Pete carmichel was gone if that was the excuse so's let's what's you don't got no more excus the talents there on the team the coaching y'all got all the coach y cleared the coaching staff got new coaching staff I got a family member that got season tickets to the Saints home games I'mma I'mma screenshot this like this and tell him to put little motor on the hand and put by da even in the playoffs oh man Super Bowl look Super Bowl pay some got no faith in da man crazy I I ain't got nothing for you yeah I get it man I mean they gotta something man I know I get it but you feel Ken you you you still on the the fire da traine or you think I I ain't gonna lie I was just bambooz I'm still if you go to the superow he takes us to title you know what they did the next season the Bucks fired their head coach that [ __ ] was trash they gave him the boots they n that's the N have have it happened in NFL you know what I'm saying have have a have a head coach took a team to the superbo and then they just fire him next year look man man right right right right all right out here we out I got you I got you D Lock in look look look you listening look at me bro look look look all right let's say this now I did say that I ain't gonna be no hypocrite bro cause I did say if they gonna do anything at least fire the OC that's been done yeah now if he if he get the OC fire we got new OC fresh blood up in this mug we got the pieces now I'm not all bought it on card but we it could be worse we got a good defense like we good so if he win I'm look I might get a DA t on my left butt cheek [Laughter] bro I say this out of there how the season go with cubc if it good that way there I mean replace that get put put Da Back on defense yeah he just honestly just win or lose he don't need to be the head coach because honestly how much of the team like offensive wise does or defensive wise does the head coach even control to an extent you they they control some of it but so yeah get him out as head coach put him back what he is great at doing nobody's taking away from him being a defensive mind minded coach or whatever nobody's taking that away from him so put him back there where he want where he needs to be and where he's comfortable being clearly and put somebody up in at the face of the Saints where that's actually going the team is going to listen to cuz honestly I feel like head coach is a motivational person for the team honestly I that's it really depend there are some head coaches head coaches that that do give up both duties like there are head coaches that they they I mean they give that power to their OC to call the offense and they give the power to their DC to call the defense there are some head coaches that that call it you know what I'm saying so I don't know it it depend on what type of Coach you are like I I think if I'm not mistaken um and someone can correct me if I wrong I think that's kind of Pete Carroll style like Pete Carol don't really call either side but he is like that that player's coach that's obviously why he's been coaching for so long like people you know players love Pete Carrol yeah and that's a style so I don't know it's it's it's a thing we I don't know I don't know what the hell da is the Players definitely got to want to play for the head coach like they got to want to play for him and I don't know man I just I just noticed last year like the players calling the accountability out and that has a lot to do with the head coach you know they all fall you know it starts with the head coach and it goes from there so when they was all calling the accountability out you know like nobody was taking that you know like da was going to the press conferences still talking about cleaning stuff up and and all that so I I get the frustration and stuff so that's why I said like all the all the uh big question marks was or the excuses was the the coaching staff and and injuries and all that well now all that's fixed man not the injuries you know we still got inj that's comes that comes with the game but the coaching staff's fixed so just don't see no more excuses like I said I'm just going off this year man if we don't make the uh the playoffs then yeah I'm I'm all I'm all for it but I just don't want to start gassing that up right now as far as the fire them now and we ain't even got into you know the new nobody said fire him now I mean that would be stupid to fire him like right now after the season is over when Drew win lose a draw he needs to be gone I think if you was gonna fire him it would have had to been at the end of last season because of that was a disappointed season true but if he come out he win because this would be his third year head coach I'm trying to find how many has he been with us three of three or four like we haven't made the playoffs when I know about three or four years so Fredo says yo yeah you about to get a bunch of random bear fans strolling in here because I shared it to my I shared it to myom yeah see how long till Drew come back and Coach will he what's he gonna do in the years to come and Y of surprised about Ugo and Jonathan Abram to be honest Jonathan AB for real I'm just saying Ugo because we always keep Ugo around for some reason like we just always keep him around but Jonathan abam for sure I was surprised about um St Brown of course we signed him back to the practice squad and put that up in here in a minute I'm really B about Miller man I hope he get healthy Miller yeah I'm I'm looking ahead Miller Keandre Miller was sorry yeah I'm looking at he on that IR yeah a lot of people was talking about the Cabo like I seen a lot of saints fans talking about getting rid of Miller and keeping kabot like kabot feeling that spot just because it's it's it's just because what have you done for me lately type of thing so people gonna say that we haven't had that we haven't really got the chance to see uh KRA Miller in action for real and that was a pick that I really like going into the year and then of course he's been he just basically couldn't hit his stride and it sucks because last year would have been like the perfect year for like kind of him in that situation with with like AK and um you know what I mean like that would have been his chance to shine but couldn't take advantage of it injuries man injury on injury on you can't stay healthy man and you know you know we don't stick oh say we don't stick around injuries because we stuck with Michael Thomas for four years on the injury so man we go all on that that's that that's just Wicked I ain't gonna lie yeah mik Thomas might as well go ahe and hop on the broadcast hey y'all surprised he ain't on the team yet speaking to Michael Thomas real quick well come join us we might make him a member of who that TV true enough no no we don't need to do that hey he gonna get on here talking about some Yeah that's the yeah we got I know we got four spots for sure though that we get Cody did I say Cody Cody in there yeah Cody and then we got one so we got we really get one more spot uh in there I know we still collecting from a few people uh but this basically a lot of them was in the League last year so we got one spot open um you see the details uh 12 men uh PPR we're going to do it on on the sleeper app this year I love that app I dropped it on there last year so want to try something different um really cool app to draft on it is going to be a um it's going to be uh um on September 1 is when we're gonna do the draft we'll vote on the time make sure everybody is can agree on the time least majority everyone um $50 Buy in 500 to win 100 to runner up and there may be hey my bad to cut you off or y'all can combine or how they did I think they combin and they split yeah they combin and split it in half do was a good idea so both both uh first and second kind of came up I first I'm
