and back here in Madison County Kansas City Royals outfielder Brewer hicklin made his return to North Alabama to host his annual baseball camp kids Brave the Wind and Rain to learn from hicklin and other Pros like North Alabama's own Kyle Wright and Jordan Beck along with Royals catcher MJ Melendez and Rangers outfielder Bubba Thompson hicklin says the camp is his way of giving back to the community that helped him get where he is today the 26 year old feels honored that parents are trusting him to put their kids in a position to succeed not just in baseball but in life I dreamed as a kid to be where I am one day and I realized when I got there that you know life is bigger than baseball it's important for us to dream big but it's also important for us to realize that you know the impact that we have on people is much greater than the impact that we'll ever have playing the game of baseball
