Lauren cogin has done it again of course she does winning has become a habit for Lauren C the American who broke through for her maiden LPGA Tour title at the cpkc women's open just 3 weeks ago has found the winner circle again this time at the isps Handa women's Scottish Shen I'm Adam Stanley and this is LPGA now presented by surf proo let's get into it cogin was the only golf in the field to shoot four rounds in the 60s at the Windswept dun Donald lyns this week and she closed with a 3 under 69 she's now got two LPGA Tour trophies to her name pretty surreal um but also awesome you know I've had big goals for this year with solheim and all that and so that's kind of what I'd been on my mind and prepping for and trying to get ready for and I knew you know I needed to improve and that's kind of what I've been trying to do all along won by four shots over Germany's Esther hanset a silver medalist for the second week in a row if you will cogin open with two bogeys in her first four holes but found her form quickly with two birdies in quick succession to close out her front nine the board was looking tight through the midpoint of Sunday's Scottish finale before cogin started to pull away she birdied three of her final five holes including a lengthy one on the par five 18th to eventually win by that impressive Mark of four shots it was a magically complete performance by cogin who was first in putts seventh in greens and regulation and fifth in Fairways found for the week I think I wasn't quite as thinking about it too much I mean last night I was definitely thinking about it but this morning I was pretty calm about it um just again you know just trying to stay super present and not think about winning and you know it's really cliche but you know one shot at a time but that's really what I was trying to do this was coglin's fourth straight top 10 finish and with the win she joins Nelly Corda and Hannah green as multi-time winners on the LPGA Tour this season honet shot A2 under 70 to finish runner up while Megan Kang and aaka fway whose four under effort was tied for low round of the day ended up tied for third it's already time for the final major championship of the Season as the LPGA Tour does indeed head to the home of golf in the old course at St Andrews for that AIG Women's Open competition you can catch the action on USA Network peacock and NBC and we'll be right back here with LPGA now presented by Ser proo with everything you need to know
