Jesus says through this Holy Mass he loves you all let's begin this Holy Mass in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all and with your spirit my dear friends in Jesus Christ we are in the 23rd Sunday of the ordinary time on this Sunday our Lord Jesus Christ invites us to reflect upon how we are connected with him when God created the world he found that everything is good when he created the fish he spoke to the Sea when he created the plants and the trees he spoke to the Earth but when he created man he spoke to himself he said let us create human being when fish is out of water it dies when the plants and trees are uprooted of the earth they die when you and me are disconnected from God removed from God when we are away from God we to lose ourselves we to die we become Wilderness without anything therefore during this early Eucharistic celebration let us pray to Jesus to forgive all our sins and to grant us his generous blessings that we can call him ABA father and we can be with him always as we live this life on the earth for the times we fail in this regard let us ask from the Lord for pardon and mercy I confess to almighty God brothers and sisters that have in my thoughts and in my words in what I have done and what I have failed to do therefore fault through my fault through my most Grievous fault therefore I ask blessed Mary ever virgin all the angels and Saints and you my brothers and sisters to pray for me to the sisters show no partiality as you adhere to the faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ for if a man with gold rings and fine clothes comes into your assembly and a poor person in shabby clothes also also comes in and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say sit here please while you say to the poor one stand there or sit at my feet you have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil designs listen my beloved brothers and sisters did not God choose those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and Hees of the Kingdom that he promised to glory to again Jesus left to the district of th and went by way of sidon to the Sea of Galilee into the District of uh the decapolis and people brought to him a deaf man who had a speech impediment and begged him to lay his hand on him he took him off by himself away from the crowd he put his finger into the man's ears and spitting touched his uh tongue and he looked up to heaven and groaned and said to him AATA that is be opened and immediately the man's ears were opened his speech impediment was removed and he spoke plainly he ordered them not to tell anyone but the more he ordered them not to do the more they proclaimed it they were exceedingly astonished and they said he has done all things well he makes the deaf hear and the mute speak the gospel of the Lord praise to you Lord Jesus Christ my dear friends in Jesus Christ the readings of today bring to us the joy of Christ the happiness of Christ the love of uh Christ if you want to enjoy the joy of Christ if you want to be happy Jesus tells to all of us has he spoke to that deaf man he to tells us AATA he had the impediment the impediment was was he was not able to hear he was not able to speak therefore he could not find the joy of the human life therefore Jesus removed that block by saying eata and all of us have got various blocks all of us have got various uh things uh which make us sad unhappy sorrowful frustrated disappointed depressed and uh Jesus wants to remove all those blocks impediments Jesus tells to all those impediments today to all of us standing here in this Holy Church of St Thea faila heata to everyone be open praise the Lord and uh Jesus wants us to praise His name forever and ever there was a camel mother camel and its uh baby baby camel they both lived in a zoo one day after a very good lunch the mother and the daughter both were going for a walk as they were going for a walk in the zoo the baby camel looking at the mother camel asked mother why is that we the camels have got the long legs and the rounded feet why is that we have got the long high lashes why is that we have got uh the hums at our back the mother camel said you know my dear daughter we are created to live in the wilderness we are created to live in the desert in the desert there is no water in the desert there is lot of wind and strong in the desert there is a lot of uh sand when you have High big high lashes you can uh protect your high from the sand when there is no water you can drink from your hump you save the water there and in the Sandy mud of the desert if you got long legs and the rounded feet you can walk freely then the baby camel asked okay if you are created to be in the desert if you have got long legs and the round ft to live in the desert if you have got the hums to live in the desert if you have got the long high lashes to live in the desert what nonsense are we doing in this Zoo if you and me are created in the image and likeness of God if you and me are the images of Jesus and if you are suffering with all sorts of sins we are not able to love Jesus and if we consider this world as everything if we consider the pleasures of world as everything Eternal and if you are not able to be with Jesus be close to him then Jesus also has our mother baby camel would ask us what nonsense are you doing in this world we are created as his images we are created to love Jesus and Jesus God the Father Son and the Holy Spirit God wants all of us to be happy that's why in the first reading of today it's beautifully said fear not Don't Be Afraid don't be frightened be brave be courageous because God comes to save you from all sorts of bondages from all sorts of slavery he wants to free you he wants to liberate you he wants to give you Freedom those who are hungry he wants to give food those who are thirsty he wants to give water those who suffer from various diseases he wants to heal them those who have frustrations he wants to comfort them give them the consolation those who have nothing for their lives Jesus is ready to fill with everything provided you say Jesus I love you Jesus I am with you you are the only God there is no other God and uh you believe in Jesus and you are wise you have that wisdom to understand that everything of God is true and nothing of this world is true but what happens in our lives is the opposite the contrary thing happens in our lives we cling on to this world as if you are going to live in this world world forever and ever and we forget God and we distance ourselves from God many of us have got a wrong philosophy wrong understanding wrong theology we think that merely by coming for a mass in a week we Are Holy we are with God but it is not so if you want to enjoy the blessings of God that's what the readings tell us have the experience of God have the experience of God when you have the experience of God all the blessings will flow to you you will never find yourselves in loneliness you will never find yourselves in nothingness and you will find that you have everything for this life and uh today's Gospel beautifully tells us we have got various deafness and we need to release ourselves from all those differentness it is only symbolically said of that man who was not able to speak and who was not able to hear Jesus is presenting it as a parable only if you want to receive His blessings you need to understand you need to speak you need to hear what is good and what is bad you need to hear the word of God you need to participate in this Holy Mass truly and you need to have that opening you need need to have that openness to everything of God and uh Jesus said to that man if be offened you have that impediment and we have got so many other impediments which block us in being closer to Jesus in being closer to God in loving God in trusting in God and to all that Jesus says be open today be open today understand the reality today what happens in the world sometimes I feel I should be muted I should be mute I should be dumb and Duff and I should not see anything of the world because such such is the reality today when you open the television and when you watch the news everything which is uh unhealthy everything which presents uh you know the dis Harmony everything everywhere there is war corruption and people fighting not happy and uh people uh having uh everything which is against God and therefore Jesus tells us today be opened from all that whatever blocks you in being together with me in being close to me AATA say AATA to everyone so therefore you need to sit in the chapel today in the church today and you need to analyze are you close with Jesus are you with Jesus are you with Jesus if I am not not with Jesus what blocks me in being with Jesus what are the impediments and uh one by one you need to reflect and say a be open be open be open be open and then releasing yourself from all those impediments finally you can say yes Jesus I Am with You Jesus is a miraculous Lord through this holy Eucharistic celebration he presents his own body body and blood he converts ordinary bread and uh wine into his own body and blood and he presents his body and blood as our Eternal food more than this what else do we need the biggest Miracle happening in our lives therefore say AA to everything all the impediments and say yes only to Jesus and Jesus will grant you all the happiness all the joys all the blessings for your lives let's all stand up and profess the Creed I believe in one God the Father Almighty maker of heaven and Earth of all things visible and invisible I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God born of the father father before all ages God from God light from light true God from true God begotten not made consubstantial with the father through him all things were made for us men and for our Salvation he came down from heaven and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became man for our sake he was crucified under pontious pilot he suffered death and was buried and rose again on the third day in accordance with the scriptures he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the father he will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end I believe in the Holy Spirit the Lord The Giver of Life who proceeds from the father and the son who with the father and the son is adored and glorified who has spoken through the prophets I believe in one Holy Catholic and Apostolic church I confess one baptism for the Forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come amen my dear friends Our God hears our cries and answers them let us turn to our God who never fails to listen to our needs please respond Lord hear our prayer Lord hear our prayer for the church that in this time of uncertainty and fear she will be a voice of Peace reason and compassion we pray to the Lord Lord here our prayer for all touched by the tragic events of September 11th and may people of all Nations feel renewed urgency to work for World Peace we pray to the Lord Lord here our prayer for children in religious religious education and adults in becoming Catholic that they open their hearts to conversion and the Holy Spirit we pray to the Lord Lord here our pray for father Renee wisdom strength and patience in his Priestly vocation and in leading our Parish Community we pray to the Lord Lord Lord here our prayer for father Joy a warm welcome from St Teresa's grateful community and wonders and joy during his Stay in Carson City we pray to the Lord Lord here our prayer that all who are sick may know the healing power of Christ and that all who have died May live forever with Christ in the glory of the Resurrection we especially remember Dorothy Tate rapael and Josephina kuo karez we pray to the Lord Lord here our prayers and for the special intention of this Mass Frank Hol sour we the praise of your manifold wisdom be manif first at the church and so in company with the choirs of Angels We Praise You and with joy we Proclaim holy holy holy Lord God of host Heaven and Earth are created rightly gives you praise for through your son our Lord Jesus Christ by the power of power and working of the Holy Spirit you give life to all things and make them holy and you never cease to gather your people to yourself so that from the rising of the sun to its setting a pure sacrifice may be offered to your name therefore Lord we humbly implore you by The Same Spirit graciously make holy these gifts we have brought to you for consecration that they may become the body and blood of your son our Lord Jesus Christ at whose command we celebrate these mysteries for on the night he was betrayed he himself took bread and giving you thanks he said the blessing broke the bread and gave it to his uh disciples saying take this all of you and it of it for this is my body which will be given up for you in a similar way when supper was ended he took the chalice and giving you thanks he said the blessing and gave the Chalice to his uh disciples saying take this all of you and drink from it for this is the Chalice of my blood the blood of the new and eternal Covenant which will be poured out for you and for many for the Forgiveness of sins do this in memory of me [Music] the mystery of faith when we eat this bre drink this we Proclaim your death oh Lord until you come again therefore Lord as we celebrate the memorial of the saving passion of your son his wondrous resurrection and Ascension into heaven and as we look forward to his second coming we offer in Thanksgiving this holy and Living Sacrifice look we pray upon the oblation of your church and recognizing the sacrificial victim by whose death you will to reconcile us to yourself grant that we are ared by the body and blood of your son and filled with his holy spirit may become one body one Spirit In Christ may he make of us an eternal offering to you so that we may obtain an inheritance with your elect especially with the Most Blessed work Virgin Mary Mother of God St Joseph as spouse with the blessed apostels and glorious Martyrs St Teresa faila and all the saints and whose constant intercession in your presence we rely for unfailing help May the sacrifice of our reconciliation we pray oh Lord Advance the peace and salvation of all the world be pleased to confirm in faith and charity your Pilgrim Church on Earth with your servant Pope Francis and our Bishop Daniel the order of Bishops all the clergy and the entire people you have gained for your own listen graciously to the prayers of this family whom you have summoned before you in your compassion oh merciful father gather to yourself all your children scattered throughout the world to our departed brothers and sisters especially for the Repose of the soul of Frank for whom we have this mass today and pray for him and unto all who are pleasing to you at the passing from this life give kind admittance to your kingdom there we hope to enjoy forever the fullness of your glory through Christ Our Lord through whom you bestow a.m. on Tuesday September 15th the ceiling and restriping of our parking lot is scheduled for Monday September 16th this is a complete closure for the day no daily maass or adoration no one is allowed in the parking lot there will be limited parking on Tuesday morning happy Grandparents Day from St Teresa School St Teresa students are in the Gathering space with a little gift for all the friends tomorrow 7th 8th September is the Nativity of Our Blessed Mother although we don't celebrate the Feast uh tomorrow since it's a Sunday our blessed mother is so powerful in uh interceding for us I offered you all to the care and love of our Blessed Mother through this uh Holy Mass and therefore let us uh specially pray to our mother today and tomorrow and in the coming days May our mother Stand By Us protect us and grant us and the whole world the peace and uh Harmony let us to present uh our daughter our child to the intercession of our blessed mother may she have very good health our lady would intercede for you you would be very fine don't need to worry of anything the Lord be with you and with your spirit May almighty God blesses the father son and the holy spirit amen go forth
