Braves have won a lot of Thrillers this year yesterday was the 12th Extra Inning win for Atlanta most in baseball they've been great in closed games and that's really important right we all thought they were going to come out and slug all season long that is not has been what this offense has been about but they are deep and they find other ways to win and close games have been a non-issue you mentioned the 12 wins in Extra Innings how about the Run differential seventh inning or later the best in the National League that is really important we take a look at their last 25 games where it been decided three runs are left so we are about 8 minutes away from first and tonight trying to continue things on the Chris was so good yesterday it'll be Charlie Morton who gets the how we love when Charlie Morton takes them out because we know we're going to see that really good breaking ball from the rander would be nice to see him get maybe a little bit deeper in this game tonight if like I said before I think I really just try to focus on going out and having fun and and and taking the field and enjoying the time with my teammates and obviously in some of those moments it's there's no two ways about it you know we need to win and uh to just go out there so really my mentality is just to go out and just give my best effort and help the team in any way that I can since June 18th you lead all major league baseball relievers in ER and runs allow and hits alow I could go on the list goes on a long ways just in terms of the main components outside of just enjoying the game have been your focus whether it be your change your change up or anything that's been aite to help you out through this process yeah I'm try not to focus too much on any of kind of the outside things that are going on I really just want to my primary focus is just focus on locating my pitches as much as possible and just executing them where I want finish um and that's that's really it all right well let's switch gears here because a lot of people don't know Rell glacy as the person off the mound and I have to ask I was told you have a very unique Hobby in terms of carrier pigeons and different competitions you do in the offseason can you tell me one what that is and two how you got started with it it's just uh one of my pastimes i' like to enjoy during the offseason and it's really it's just something that I started doing I just brought it over how's this other guy know what he's saying can you explain what exactly it is to me it just feels like a really common thing that Cubans like to do you know I feel like it's kind of take they must be must be edited this must have been free and then you know just sort of debate about what's happening but it's really just more of of those I want to but in terms of location he said you know we know him for the curveball but he said in his last start he was really focusing on that fast ball he said when he's able to locate that Fasto has a 218 batting average of 685 home so off command is there when Charlie is put to hug the outside corner for stke one kind of pitching 101 but to be able to locate that fast ball then everything else becomes so much tougher and we've watched him make those adjustments as the season has gone on very quick first inning for Charlie nine pitches and he gets the cleanup hitter TJ fredle to strike two that's amazing for count six consecutive season at least 30 starts and to think about doing that quite an accomplishment especially in today's game and especially because he throws that curveball as much as he does he throws it right there and he hits and got a piece of Shawn Murphy as well two birds one stone and friedel's really hobbling he's going to try to run it off that's such a firm curveball that he throws now look like maybe that was a double decker that ball come down oh man that ball come down hit the cinnati red player on the inside of his right foot it then RI the advantage of that from a batting average standpoint here with a guy like Rosario that's pretty much a little bit better than his League average but again he's never been a big time Slugger the Ops is pretty much right in line in where he is been now early in his career he would rack up some strikeouts he'd be in the triple digits with some consist looks like the interative was ahead see if Charlie can get him here two and two back to the curveball Full Count yeah I know right that's the play to try to expand the Zone obviously you don't do that in a 3-2 count but from a Chase standpoint 39% for out there he has a player option on his contract so if he pitches well enough probably opt to not take that option and get into the free agent Market if he feels like he can do better so I think he's in a position right now that he'll do everything he can to stay in the game as long as he can it's A1 million player option I'm just trying to imagine living in a world where you turn down 12 million hes for more no thank you but again if he if he and you mentioned how he's been lately as a starter if that continues I'd say there's a pretty good chance that'll happen plus I think it's the guy that wants to start right he gives you that flexibility which is nice but at the end of the day he probably wants to be out there starting and if the reds are unsure about that or can't commit to that that Braves will head to the airport here in about an hour hop on the plane and start that two game set with Washington tomorrow evening but a tough one tonight all right so we're heading to Washington for authentic MLB shop hat now David Thomas was our winner of the hat and I do have it here that is the hat that David chose and that is the hat that was purchased so congratulations to those that came and participated we gave away I don't know seven or eight game Keys as well um we had we had a lot of fun it was about an hour hour and a half stream I certainly appreciated everybody that participated and I I just hope that more and more of you start getting involved and participating because I'm not done you know we have the remainder of the baseball season we got football coming up we then got hockey coming up we got more Nascar coming up we got all kinds of stuff so stay with the channel we're not done giving away things here the next giveaway though the next giveaway will be as far as I know it's we're supposed to do it on M's Channel now if M's not back to work when we do it I will be paying for his hat giveaway uh because we've already promised you know we're going to Red player on Maverick stream will'll be giving that away as well so lots of cool things coming up guys maybe yeah we'll have to see I mean you know a lot of it got to remember right now it's it's Washington Nationals in town we sent MAV down on a Sunday him him and his girls and and he took one of his good buddies along I went ahead and paid for all that you know it was something I wanted to do for my best friend he's been going through quite a bit and it was just a nice gesture I wanted to give to him wanted him to have fun and he did so yeah all right guys it is about that time I'm going to switch I'm going to duck out of here yes tomorrow I will I will be streaming the Washington Nationals game one and I look forward to seeing you all there uh we'll definitely we'll definitely
