our top story now in the National Conference and Congress finally arrived at a seat sharing deal after an emergency meeting and two troubl Shooters rushing to shagar and holding a meeting with the Abdullah while the land seemed at breako finally this evening a deal was announced and the National Conference will contest on 51 seats while the Congress will contest on 32 seats and there will be a friendly fight on five seats earlier today the BJP released a list which led to protest and then a revised list was then later released after a ruus at the bjp's office in jamu and also the BJP releases a list of 40 star campaigners CP uh this assembly [Music] [Music] [Applause] signal all right let's go across to Nazir now for more and azir after all you know the meeting and and reports coming that it was at breako finally National Conference and Congress arriving at an agreement and a friendly contest on five seats yeah exactly besides the friendly contest it is the alliance between Congress National Conference CPM and Panthers party kind of a Grand Alliance in jamu and Kashmir they have sealed the deal after a lot of back and forth they was a point during the day when it appeared that the Coalition has collapsed there's no prospects of this Alliance because National Conference refused to go beyond the certain seats but they also gave a third option to the Congress that let's have a friendly contest on some seats so the both the sides finally decided to have friendly contest on fire seats which includes soore in North Kashmir B banal seat where the B National Conference had actually seen a sort of rebellion from the local you know C they were saying they are not going to you know allow Congress have a free run in in banal so finally this is in the as as per the agreement between the two sides National Conference is going to contest on 51 seats BJP this Congress on 32 seats CPM one seat Panthers party on one seat and if we see this Alliance has got 41.7% votes in the recent Parliament election so momentum is on their side and they didn't want to lose that and particularly for the Congress where they see now the challenge BJP is facing in jamu they want to capitalize on that they want to build on that because when there are the alliance there are more chance of winning more seats and also perception of they may you know tomorrow you know form the government given the fact that voting percentage they have got in the recent Parliament elections and so National conference said it is a win-win situation besides having Alliance on most of the seats 85 seats there would be a friendly contest between the Congress and the National Conference at five seat so finally Congress NC deal is done a day before the last day of filing of nomination paper tomorrow
