welcome to Monroe Louisiana Malone Stadium home to the ULM warhawks and fans have been getting ready for this one pretty much all week we believe we've got a great one in store today and when we' got a team that makes it into the top 25 now when you go on the road that's when you prove you belong [Music] [Applause] the warhawks will kick it away to start what kind of field position can he help them with on the return didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 okay so here comes the offense for the first time today and there's a man who believes he is always open he carries that swag and that big time playmaker guys he's got to catch the football if you're the quarterback coming into this one you are looking for this guy early and David you're looking for him often and this offense better find ways to feature him find him like you said Jesse early often deep get this man the football the give to the back and the defense holds firm no pick up at all on that play didn't take long to need a clutch play on the opening drive it's third and seven from the gun wants to pass that was almost picked off and what a disaster that would have been to throw a pick on the opening drive instead it's fourth [Applause] down and the punt team able to smack him to the ground the warhawks offense has its first opportunity of the day here are our impact players for this game and it goes beyond executing an assignment to make an impact in the game yeah obviously we were talking to both coaching staffs this week and we asked them who needs to step up and play well they immediately pointed to these guys right here they are the key for their respective teams yeah they don't always show up in the Box Score but these are the guys are the leaders these are the guys getting everybody organized and have to play well for their team succeed and he fights his way forward gets away from one but not much doing on that one scanning the field it's [Applause] Harry they bringing Heat and the quarterback knew he was in that pocket too long but nowhere to go with the ball and he takes the sack and that is how you silence this rockus crowd defensive huge sack on third down and the warhawks will send out the punt unit three and out and not much choice but to get rid of the [Applause] ball running it back it's Mason that's a perfect example of not settling for a fair catch pick up whatever yardage you can and help out the offense wide receiver coming across in motion they'll run the TOs and he'll find enough Running Room to get it just short of Midfield at the 49 after the productive first down play it's second and six the playaction fake throws to the wide out he's got an open man they just gashed the defense on that one and they've got it down to the 23 and this defense is going to have their hands full because they're going to need to be comfortable with guys one on on islands in the perimeter of the field and they're just going to have to make better plays than what we saw right there they knew this offense was going to try to be aggressive got to need better effort in the back end for this defense moving forward down to the 23 for this first and 10 he'll keep it himself and he's able to find a little bit of Running Room before they get him down now on second down and short they'll run it it's Morris relying on the Run he gets a couple before he's knocked down balls at the 13 boy they love to move the sticks here and take a shot at it on first and goal they'll run for it on Third and short they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one they'll play it safe and send out the field goal unit [Applause] it's good he hit that one right down the middle and the first points of the day come on that field goal after putting three on the board the kickoff unit ready to go on the run from inside his own five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 the give is to Smith got it across the 20 and out to the 23 pick up of four solid pick up of four on first down it's second and six back to the ground with the running back they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum dropping back it's Harry back open in the middle and they knock him down but he got past the line to game the warhawks have it with a first and 10 used the play fake now to throw now he's going to send this one deep to the right it's caught and what a job to get the foot down and make it a huge gain along the sideline and as a defense that's what happens if you don't get pressure on the quarterback it doesn't matter how good your secondary is if the quarterback has all day to throw somebody's eventually going to get open and they're going to hit those big plays so defensively now moving forward you have got to do a better job getting home to the QB motion from the offense they'll throw it on first down quickly complete at the 20 he's got space the stop is made but this offense is threatening first and goal from the nine and a big key on that throw to the slot receiver guys is putting the ball out in front the location of the throw is what helped that guy get extra yards after the catch and the warhawks will try to punch it in on first and goal movement here from the tight [Applause] end he'll pull it on the read he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three defense rolls up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming he'll do it himself a bring down and he's going to lose a yard on that one third and goal from way back there from the gun wants to pass fires to the end zone and he wanted to get the score right there but it falls incomplete and on fourth down they'll try to salvage the drive with a field goal splits the uprights right down the middle and the three ball gives us a tie [Music] and we're all square as he's set to kick it away from inside his own 10 let's see what he gets continues to fight for yards really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 they'll give it on the counter he's brought down at the 29 after a 10yd gain it'll be a first and 10 from the 29 and that's first they're going to ride this running back at the 40 there he goes a huge play and they get it all the way to the 45 yd line those outside runs if they can get the edge like they do great job by the Right Guard right tackle getting the edge and now what does this do this makes cornerbacks come up and Tackle safeties come up and Tackle as opposed to linebackers and big defensive players you get your guy out in space where he can use his speed and his physicality against guys that usually cover and don't come up and make tackles feeling some heat caught over the middle it's Ross just what they were looking for and he's got him set up in business at the 35 with a first down from the gun give on the inside productive four yd gain there on the ground as he gets it down to the 31 after the productive first down play it's second and six he's looking to throw gets it out fast he's run out of bounds but he's got enough to move the sticks it's now first and 10 from the 24 yd line he'll try to pop the draw and excellent Vision to find Running Room there and make a really good pick up before the defense put a stop to it run in the Red Zone it's bter p down after a gain of five it's at the N yd line going to work in the Red Zone they can pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone they'll run it from the gun and maybe he'll get back to the line of scrimmage but no more than that they'd love to pick up this third down and get a fresh set with first and goal from the gun they'll try to impose their running game and the defense had its hands full but they finally wrestling down short of the first [Applause] down it's been punch counter punch throughout the early part of this game as we take a look at the first stats we've got a good one going here and looking forward to keep those vibes rolling here in the second and we'll start the second quarter as they try to hang up a three spot between the uprights it's good and with that field goal they now have the lead [Music] so they're lining up to kick it off after that last Drive put a three spot on the board and now the defense will try to shut him down and he takes this from inside the five not a lot of face to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 U Monroe has it back on the offense ready to go to work Smith takes the hand off can't get him to the ground defense there to stop him after a gain of one to the 22 didn't get much on first down it's second and nine but Jet Sweep pass he's out past the 35 and it is a chunk play a huge gain on that one before the defense brings it to an end it's so important this offense is able to get this guy the ball in space especially on the perimeter of the field and I love that last play call because he's able to get outside and use his speed to me that's where this guy is is most dangerous they'll throw it on first down working on the right really good surge for this offense they move the chains and he's got it at the 34 the warhawks snap it on First and [Applause] 10 and this will be incomplete a big hit there forces second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if theyd throw it again and off from the shotgun only a couple there and now staring at third and eight they line up and it is a long way to the sticks from here trying play action finds a man on the left and he's brought down after a nice game and this junior quarterback shows you why the scouts love that big arm of [Applause] his out of the gun the running back has it pull down after a gain of five it's at the N yd line operating in the Red Zone here on second down from the shotgun the hand off to the back forges ahead for one to the 8 yd line really need to pick up this conversion and avoid having to settle for the field goal to the air it's Harry that pass is incomplete and they'll send the field goal team back out for the second time tonight and he's already put one three spot on the board he'll try another one from 25 yds out it's good and guys that three ball has us all tied up here in the [Music] second and we're all square as he set to kick it away here he comes from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more d damic but they get him on the ground at the 20 lot of field in front of them as they open this possession from their own 20 on the run it's Morris building momentum picking up a chunk of yardage moving the chains out to the 34 after picking up this first down on the ground let's see what they do unloads to the Wi out how about getting the foot down on that throw for the big completion it's and 10 from the 44 yd line when you're throwing these comeback routes man the timing has got to be so good between the two of them because you know the ball is going to be the air a long time you can't throw it late it's going to get picked that time really nice job getting it out early and the receiver doing a nice job on his route so that the ball was right on him as soon as he turned around the back goes in motion off the RPO complete that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk explosive plays the defense finally able to make the stop how nice is it as a quarterback when you don't have to throw post routes to get great stats no I can just throw it quickly to one of the fastest players in the entire nation and let him burn this defense down to the 16 yd line it's first and 10 in the red area it's Morris got enough space takes it into the end zone for a touchdown follow the block the offensive line will take you to the Hallelujah land and I tell you what most of the time Reese it requires a little bit of skill to find that hole and you know division cuz the blocking was outstanding lining up to tack one more onto that lead [Applause] and the extra point is true and they're on top by seven a very efficient five playay scoring drive and it was capped off with an impressive 16 yd Run for the score and he passes on the Touchback here he comes that gamble did not pay off as they bring him down at the 12 yd line guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time always good to get point on the drive David but Chip Shot field goals can leave you a little empty and I think it's great to get points but the great teams get touchdowns in the red area you got to get out there this time and execute a little better on this drive you're absolutely right David generally the best Red Zone offenses are the ones that run the ball the best so let's see if they can be a little bit more physical on this drive he's taking the shot fires into traffic picked off bringing it back and they'll drag him down after a good return on the interception well I love the job by the coaching staff there defensively matching the Personnel of the offense putting their dime package out on the field so you bring out the extra defensive back you're anticipating a pass perfect timing to run that person short Fields make successful offense is just what they want here off the play fake on first down down to throw scrambling away they pick up half of it it'll be second and [Applause] five he's looking to throw quick completion on the out he steps out of bounds but it will be enough for a first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs and that's a first down for the off caught behind the line it's tackled almost immediately they're well short of the first down and now on second down for this offense from the gun the ground game got some room enter to the goal line he almost punched it in for six they'll get him down at the one yd line he'll ride his man on the option now the pitch and and yes he's in the end zone for the touchdown up and over yamoo be there into the end zone and you don't want to leave your feet very often in football but this is one of those areas where you do in the End Zone near the goal line you st touchdown they'll try to add another to their lead the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead a very efficient five-way scoring drive and they capped it off with a one yd plunge on the move from inside is five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 U Monroe has it back on the offense ready to go to work this is when the pressure can ramp up a little bit on an offense David when they start feeling the heat to answer a score and I think being down 14 you can kind of feel that way but dude if you put a good drive together this is a seven-point game so Palmer no need to payt it I was just going to say David I mean this thing can flip quick you go down score all of a sudden your defense gets a stop or who knows better yet gets a turnover this game is entirely different looking for a man it's Harry quick strike complete they're able to get him stopped just shy of the first down marker passing game very effective on second down what about here on Third and they'll move the chains and get it to the 47 yd line and the warhawks are moving quickly down the field looking to go up top on first down complete downfield big play for this offense as they get it to the 32 the warhawks want to pick up the tempo really nice job on that play quarterback and receiver being on the same page quarterback not telegraphing to throw and the receiver does a nice job finding the soft spot in the defense just settling down and giving his quarterback a nice Target to throw to wide out in motion touch pass on the Jet Sweep that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there defense rolls up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming getting some heat they're trying to get to him and he'll Chuck it into the chief seats there and save the down nobody getting open there third and goal coming up here from the gun wants to pass and the misfire goes out of the back of the end zone and this kicker has had a busy night the field goal unit is out there for the third time good right down the boulevard so after the M field goal they'll kick it away and rely on their defense he'll start the return inside is five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 first snap of this drive will come from their own 17 off the play fake on first down to throw he's got it to the 43 yd line and a first down for this offense it's important on offense in the passing game you've got to have balance and I mean you got to be able to attack different thirds of the field you got to work the perimeter to both sides you got let the defense know too that you're not afraid to go over the middle they did right there going up top on first down the sure hands it's maer and so you got a guy who makes a play Down field like that how anxious do you think they're going to be to continue in man coverage yeah I don't know ree they're going to need a plan they're they're going to maybe want to think about more Zone coverage or maybe even bracketing this running back if he decides to come out of the back field because right now they don't seem to have an answer for him right second getting closer to the half offense is still having a lot of success stringing some first downs together defense is going to need to figure something out before they get to halftime that last play as this defense on its heels now it's first and 10 from the 21 he wants to throw a strike downfield gets it inside the five down to the four and it'll be first and goal this offense has been a juggernaut and they have a chance to pad their total before half time and the end zone he's got it touchdown and it's so underrated the the relationship between a QB and a wide receiver the timing the ability to know where he's going to be and be accurate with the football that's what leads to nice touchdowns Jess well the chemistry between these two guys has to be perfect but this is something these two guys have been repping and practice over and over and over and it's paying dividends now on game lining up to tack one more onto that lead [Applause] and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead a very efficient five play scoring drive and they cap the drive with a four yd touchdown pass he'll bring it out didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time he's looking to throw it they find themselves in a pretty deep hole here but maybe a chance to grab a little momentum and regroup at halftime yeah a big chance like this is this is an opportunity this is the biggest opportunity in front of them in the game right now you got to get some points on the board you got to create something positive Jesse there hasn't been a whole lot to be positive about in the first half if I'm playing quarterback I'm locating my go-to guy receiver who can I count on oneon-one to go and make me a play maybe even one on two who can go up catch the ball get us some yards and get us some points there's a timeout call as this offense tries to find a way to draw a little closer and the warhawks will have it first and 10 looking to move it through the air it's complete to the left here's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first half still some work to do after that last completion it's second down back to throw it's Harry trying to burn this defensive back and he makes the grab and gets the foot down what a job for a huge game there hey the defense knew coming into this one this guy was going to be a factor but they have done nothing to stop him they don't have any answers this guy already has over a 100 yards receiving and we're not even done the half they've got it at the 37 it's first and 10 he's going to pass dumps it to the back catch in the middle it's Smith and he almost ran away from everybody on that one a huge pick up on that play man this quarterback is having himself a day over 200 yards in the first half it was hard enough for Palmer to get over 200 in a game more or less in a first half down to the 12 yd line it's first down he wants to throw he's got it and still on his feet and he cruises his way to the house touchdown you El Monroe yeah how about the design of the play doing a great job get it to your man your running back now turn receiver in space and let him do damage let him catch the football he can do the rest be that be that special player in space that you know he is and get into the [Music] in p unit on the field and it's up and good so an 82 yd drive there and the score comes on a 12yd touchdown [Applause] pass he'll bring it back from inside his spot he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic that they get him on the ground at the 20 first down for this offense using his legs it's maxter crosses the 30 he's got a legane and how much Running Room have they've been able to find on the ground man are they piling up some guardy rushing stats I love that play call this offense is going to run the football they're not just going to do it between the tackles but they're going to attack you outside you saw that with that handoff they get to the right they get him in space using his speed good play call just a few seconds in here as they try to put something up before halftime throws to the back got a in it's baxer there to make the tackle but the big throw is good enough to give them a first down the offense will have to use its first time out of the half and as the clock is winding down here in the first half they'll send out the field goal team and he'll reach for a 53 Y and have to guide it in with Precision from the right side oh the attempt is no good after the miss the lead still at 11 that's the end of the second quarter that means it's time to join Kevin and our halftime update fellas you've had yourselves one great broadcast so far today there in in Monroe toughest job inside that Stadium right now might just be the scoreboard operator after all those first downs and touchdowns big plays have def finded this one thanks to two of the best receiving core in all of college football let's see if these defenses can adjust and make the necessary chest moves and just like that let's head back to our team inside Malone Stadium we're ready to get it started here in the second half on the run from inside his own five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 you Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work I imagine we'll see them go right back to work up top after how productive that passing game was in the first half and it's interesting if I'm the defense and I've got the lead they've had success throwing the football but we're winning I I don't know that this defense changes too much of what they've done in the first half I think they got to do a better job with pass rush they might want to change their coverages as well because they're probably at this point expecting this offense to have to keep throwing considering they did have success in the first half and this offense can ill afford to come up empty on this drive already trailing by multiple possessions they were all over him nowhere to go as that third down play turned into a disaster fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way slips through the line and the punt team able to sling him to the ground first down here from the offense the run to the left he is going nowhere stop at the line of scrimmage got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 they'll Run play action fires to the wide out all kinds of room to throw that one in there and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that one to the air on first down it's caught down field that completion gets them inside the 10 and the defense is running out of room to defend quarterback on the keeper saunter into the end zone for a touchdown well that's when the defense would like to have back they would have wished the quarterback pitch that football but instead they took the wrong guy away and made it an easy decision for the QB [Music] they'll try to add another to their lead and with the extra point theyve pushed the lead out a little further quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and what a way to finish it with a nyd touchdown run and he takes this from inside the five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there make the stop at the 19 guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time the last time we saw this offense we had to look and the heat gets there and they get him down at the 14 yd Line playaction pass success has a lot to do with selling that fake you could tell defense was not buying it we'll see if they can dial up one that works this time on second down from the 14 to the air it's Harry using the quick game and just a short save pass play they pick up a few this defense has kept them backed up now one more stop and they can get off the field on Third and long they'll run the screen defense was not fooled by that screen to the back and they'll stop him short of the marker it'll be fourth down the warhawks will call on their punt team they make the stop but there is a penalty marker down let's see what the call is foul [Applause] kick so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty so the offense keep this drive alive thanks to the roughing the punter penalty and they picked up nine on first down it'll bring up second and short touch pass on the Jet Sweep finding open areas he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down and man this quarterback has had a day with that pass he goes over 300 yards on the day really nice job executing putting up some yards today pretty good day for the young man hit hard as he released the ball on that first down pass and it never had a chance dialing up a second down pass play got his man quickly and the defense stopped him just short of the first down maybe needed a few more chain links to move the sticks third coming up to the ground to try to move the chain that just never had a chance as they controlled the middle of the field and stopped him in the back field on third down they'll run for it on fourth down they stop him short of the marker and they'll turn it over on down line gets set first [Applause] down from the gun they'll try to impose their will he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a coup after getting knocked back to open this drive it's second and 12 looking for a crease it's Morris he's Dro behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three backing up and backing up on the first two plays now to try to throw it in drive on third down looking to throw and he needs a bunch finds his tight end and he's not going to get there the defense Stands Tall and makes the stop they bring the punter onto the field now he'll go back to work and punt it away for the second time and he make the Stop and that it's exactly what you want out of your punt cover unit you Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work coming after him he's right on Target and he was fortunate not to lose yardage on that play able to wedge it back to the line of scrimmage from the gun the running back has it and it'll be a up of nine they're facing a third and one boy they'd love to pick up this conversion and go to work with a first and goal they'll go to the air on Third and short looking for the score reels it in in the end zone touchdown warhawks well just as you would expect that didn't take very long it didn't Reon you've got to make great field position count when You' got opportunities you got to pay it off and the offense took advantage scoring a touchdown didn't have far to go but they got the points they [Music] needed lining up for the P splits the U front quick strike offense on that three playay scoring drive and they finish things off with an eight- yd toss for the score about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown here he comes from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 they'll get this drive going from the 17 off play action on first down snatches it on the right and the tackle was made but not before that completion gets him 30 plus that's a beautiful the defense with his eyes he Froze that safety and that allowed his receiver more room to work rout that big play is just what they needed now they have it first and 10 just outside the 40 out of the gun the inside give crosses the 40 gets it down to the 35 before he stopped a gain of six got six on first down now a lot of options on second and four and he's knocked down but not before moving the chains from the 30yd line on first down used the play fake now to throw fires to the tight end they make the stop after the catch and still some work to do to pick up that first down let's see what they've got on second down looking for a crease to the left tackle was made after the first down this offense doing business in the Red [Applause] Zone might as well give it to him again and he runs through one tackle and picks up a few going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down they'll run it out of the shotgun slammed to the ground but not before he gets the first down on the doorstep of cashing it in for the offense they move the tight end all over a first down run on the doorstep he bullies his way all the way down to the 5 yd line time winding down in the quarter as they come to the line they'll go with a direct snap and as they get him to the ground clock running looks as if time will expire here in the third this is those momentum turning points if this defense can force a field goal attempt that is a victory for them one quarter to go and might we have the makings of a classic fourth quarter finish looking to The End Zone on Third and goal moving out of the pocket he felt the heat trying to get away but down he goes he'll lose a yard or two all right this quarterback is going to have to start playing with a clock going off in his head he knows he cannot hold on to the football too long with players like that getting after and on fourth down they'll try to put three on the board from the left hash in this distance ought to make that angle pretty easy to handle and he missed it no good after the Miss still an 11-point game guys well that's one the kicker would like to have back that's a kick he should be making in his guys we'll see what this Warhawk offense can get done this time looking for a productive play on first down they'll run the RPO and Fire to the right he's brought down solid pick up but a little bit short of the first down now on second and short after that pick up from the gun running back on the move they make the stop but there is a flag on the field we'll see what that's all [Applause] about they say you could call holding on every play well they did on that one to the air it's Harry gets it out quickly boy that was a Precision play all the way around throw catch tackle bang bang bang third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a doozy if they can pull it off and it slips through his fingers incomplete that would have been a huge game if he could have held on fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way he'll be brought down but there is a flag on the field let's see what that one's about foul kick the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty he'll keep it himself get it pass the marker he puts him in business across the 50 into the 46 yd line it'll be first down and the warhawks come to the line with a new set of downs at the 35 he's open and you can see the offense just feeling itself they've got it down to the 21 well the defense knew coming into this one re that this team was going to try to use their speed and take advantage of it and they did right there nice gain on the Run play to the right found plenty of a Running Room in that defense they've got to find a way to get there make the tackle in the open field yeah and they got to do a good job with their eyes finding the football and they've got to get a lot of bodies to this guy cuz he is fast he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three got some work to do on second down after that last one they need 13 they'll give it to the back he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three seventh play of the drive coming up but a long way to go on third down they go to the ground and how about that alertness and that swarming D to keep him from getting the first down so here comes the field goal unit once again theyve already kick three tonight it is true as he puts three on the board [Music] after that last field goal Drive they're set to kick it [Applause] away he'll bring it out from inside his own 10 he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 so we'll see this offense make it way out to start the drive out of the gun they give to the back shows him the stiff arm after picking up a couple at second and [Applause] eight to the ground with the back and this defense has its work cut out to get this dude on the ground he was shedding serious tackles on his way to picking up the first man it's so nice to have a guy that you can depend on like this this off is built around him for a reason just a a good running back you can see gets north south doesn't dance picks up positive yards breaks tackles he's just a really good player and that's why this offense runs through he got a hand in there knocks it away incomplete after the quarterback and receiver couldn't connect it's second and 10 now the play fake pulls it in it's maxter really nice stop there from this senior leader a third third and long coming up here third from the gun wants to pass throws to the wide out wide open down field good pick up there as he gets the first down and they'll Mark him at the [Applause] 48 got it behind the line it's Mo I love an offense that wants to stay aggressive even when you've got the lead late in a game like this right you still try to find your Playmakers and get them the ball in space and that is exactly what this offense is doing tackled but he has a first down well the defense didn't Blitz they didn't have everybody in gaps and the offensive line took advantage at the point of attack getting some push opening up a hole and the offense ripping off a nice run there from inside the 40 at the 37 it's first down they'll move the running back to try to force the defense to adjust unloads to the wide out got his Man Down field he is tackled but it'll be a fresh set of downs they're in the Red Zone first and 10 from the 20 they're threatening to score and they'll throw it got it he's got it and he goes into the end zone for the touchdown the offense flexes the extra point splits the upright in the lead balloons to 15 they put together an 81 yd drive and they close the deal with a 20yd pass for Six he will take the return and try to improve the field position he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 you Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work they're going to have to be more aggressive in this drive you can't expect to win this one David kicking field goals no especially when you're trailing you got to have a little more urgency and maybe a little more aggressiveness Jesse and field goals are not going to get it done down the stretch yeah you're going to have to take some shots no doubt bottom line when plays present themselves you just simply got a in you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 fires to the wide out he makes a catch and they'll finally catch up to him but not before a big chunk of yardage is picked up they absolutely had to have that third down to keep any glimmer of hope alive and defensively that's exactly what I want make you get to third down the clock is your enemy multiple possession lead that is right where I want this [Applause] offense and the physical play there forces the incompletion on first down after the quarterback and receiver failed to hook up they'll try it again on second down and there there was nowhere to go for this quarterback and down he goes these are the perfect situations you love to be in known passing situations these are not where the off in your ears back get the nice first down sack they're going to keep this drive going they'll have to make a play on Third and long from the 26 looking downfield and he needs a bunch quickly complete and your tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down marker down in the fourth quarter it's too late for empty possessions they'll go for it on fourth down fires to the middle incomplete pass and the defense comes up big and they take over the offense lining up for a first down play they'll try to keep this clock moving on the ground just enough room to gain a couple down to the 34 they'll probably bleed every second possible off this clock before they snap it makes the grab down the [Applause] middle takes it into the end zone for a touchdown Sol inter wound right late in the fourth quarter you can run the football run this game out no sir I'm going to continue to pad my stats find my receiver out wide and give me another touchdown winding up to add [Applause] another the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead aggressive play calling on that drive just two plays they get the long touchdown pass to pay it off kickoff team is on the field they'll try to drive this one deep he'll bring it out it's Smith didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 guys we'll see what this Warhawk offense can get done this time gets it out fast and this one will be stopped for no gain the warhawks are in the hurry up nice job by the defense staying GL to him getting him on the ground as soon as he catches the football knowing he's a threat I'm not going to let this guy get out of my sight nice job by the D and that's going to be incomplete a lot of contact on the play but no Flags it'll be third down they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one they've got the screen set up good tackle there to stop him short of the first down and now they have to make a call Coach has no choice here the offense has to stay on the field down multiple possessions this late fourth down attempt coming he try to throw and pick up the first down unloaded just as he throws it's incomplete and they stop him on fourth down out of the shotgun they go to the ground and he finds Some solid space makes a nice game before the defense is able to stop him we reached the two-minute warning and this offense is that much closer to salting away a victory they'll go to the ground they get him on the ground but it's a first down it's first down from the [Applause] 11 trying to move them on the counter able to scr three yards out of that one somehow it's second and seven going to work in the Red Zone they can't pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone looking for space it's faxer they get him on the ground at the three yd line but this defense is taking some punches thir [Applause]
