let's go so the New York Jets are signing safety Lewis scene former Georgia Bulldog former Minnesota Viking former back in first- round pick here now this move gets me far this is like the type of move that I love to see you know my favorite teams make right where they're taking a chance on a highly talented individual that didn't really work out in their first stop but Louis seen man despite the NFL Journey not really being super productive up to this point right obviously in year one he had the gruesome leg injury missed the entire season and then in year two just saw limited time he only has one career tackle in two years unfortunately he still has talent and you go back just a just a couple of years back to that Georgia tape I mean man he was so aggressive at the safety position I love aggressive safeties guys that are just violent right they'll they'll come downhill and just stick their nose in make a tackle right wrap up an open field just thump the pass catcher level the ball carrier guys that aren't afraid to put their body on the line I I think that's awesome right and you're also and by the way by the way for context the Jets are signing scene to the practice squad not the 53 so the starting for safeties look to be this you know in the same spot here which you know Chuck Clark Tony Adams the two starters and then behind those guys Ashton Davis and Isaiah Oliver jayen key was brought back to the practice squad like a half hour ago which is sweet but you're trying to look ahead to the um you know look look ahead at the safety position the Jets have a bunch of one-year deal uh one-year contracts here Ashton Davis expiring deal Chuck Clark expiring deal Isaiah Oliver expiring deal Jaylen key of course you know again signed to the practice squad and uh was a seventh round pick so we should have control over him next season along with of course Tony Adams but look this again this is this to me just kind of seems like a match made in heaven safety's that I would say one of the more thin positions on the on the new you know on the Jets you look at old and Sol track record of developing defensive players you look at their track record of working with former first round pick just go through this exercise right think about how many former first rounders are on this Jets defense there is a method to the madness here there is something to this I don't think it's a coin coincidence right Solomon Thomas and yeah I mean just there's so many of them CJ MOS Quinn Williams like sasar there's a ton of first rounders T McKinley on this defense and lisen is now the newest one up here so I'm really really excited it's a lowrisk high reward move it's not like the Jets handed him $18 million or something four-year deal no not at all practice squad we'll see how it plays out let me know your thoughts down below and as always SC CHS
