victim and there is a SE scripture present but this morning I invite you to turn your Bibles with me to Romans chapter 8 Romans chapter 8 and I start from verse 28 Hallelujah Romans chapter 8 verse 8 and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are the C according to his purpose for whom he did for know he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son that he might be the first born among many brethen moreover who he predestinate then he also called and whom he called there he also Justified and whom he justified then he also glorified what shall we say then sorry what shall we then say to these things if God be for us who can be against us he that spared not his own son but delivered him up for us all how shall he not with him also freely give us all things who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect it is God that justify who is he that condemn it is Christ that died yeah rather that is risen again who is even at the right hand of God who also maketh intercession for us who shall separate us from the love of Christ shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or Peril or S as it is written for thy sake we are killed all the day long we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter n in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us for I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor death nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in around each day announcing that he wants problems yes I said in their right Minds so don't tell me about the man on Tik Tok common sense and irrational thought tells us to stay away from trouble to avoid problems to delay tribulations and to turn away from heartache that is human nature we desire the good things of life we we long to be whined and D fed and treated like the kings and queens that we are we are always looking across the fence Across The Meadows over the mountains for greener pastures and essentially nothing is wrong with that but we need to recognize this morning the reality of living in a broken world life will never be a Bed of Roses trials and tribulations destructions and Devastation heartache and humiliation are inevitable whether we like it or not the circumstances of Our Lives can place Us in the seat of the victim job stated it clearly in chapter 14 verse1 he says man that is born of a woman is of a few days and full of trouble hallelujah hallelujah when Jo was going through the most agonizing situation in his life he rebuked his wife for demanding that he curse God and died and he said shall we indeed only accept good from God and not adversity and disaster brothers and sisters today I want us to hear from the word of God how we can move from being victim to victim how we can put off the victim mindset hallelujah how we can put off the victim mindset and claim the victories that God has promised us I invite you to look with me through the lens of God's words to find that for the victim to become the victim there is purpose in Providence there is a promise for protection and there is practical power verse 28 of the text we're looking at purpose in Providence when we speak of Providence we speak of the provision of God verse 28 and we know that all things work to together for good for them that love the Lord who are called according to his purpose and we go down to verse 13 in the text before us Paul spoke definitively and the Lord inspired him he said all things work together for good all things we see here where Paul is highlighting that God has a Divine Purpose in the things he allowed to happen to us hallelujah all the things he allow us to be involved in brothers and sisters we must note that the omnicient God hallelujah already knows the end even before the beginning he knows what our future is like before we were even conceived in our mother's womb he knows the path that we will take he knows the hand that we will be will be dealt in life and he has already made provision for us in that path the fact is that the purpose of lined for us the purpose of line for us will remain the same in God's eyes and know matter how many times we hear of the road or of the path God has so designed our destiny that something or someone or some circumstance will bring us back in line with the purpose that God has for us so if it mean that we will face some hardships of life we cannot avoid them and because it means that we must fulfill our god-given purpose we have to go through them on a daily basis I want you to watch carefully how Paul used the following two verses to qualify statement in verse 28 all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are the C the C according to his purpose first of all all the called are those who love God those who love God those who are obedient to God Hallelujah the call are those who are walking or who are willing to walk where God says you should walk Hallelujah to those who are called Accord in to his purpose but further we see that he called he called our the called are those Hallelujah who are predestined and those who he forew those who he knew or who he knows will Tru him because no matter how we think about it because God is able to see the end from the beginning he knows who will say yes to him so they are predestined God forew them Hallelujah they are faled with the blood of the Lamb because they have chosen to reject sin and live righteously those are whom he justifies and to be justified to be means that it as if we have not sinned to be justified mean we are made right in the sight of God to be justifying means no matter how many times we have sinned and gone against God when God looks at us through Justified eyes we are clean we are pure it's as if we have never saved and that's how God looked or looked at those he called and those who accept him so he justifies them and then he glorifies them these are believers Christians therefore what makes us think that because we choose to serve God then we are going to live high and [Music] dry what makes a feel that because we are chosen to follow God that everything is going to be nice and Dy what makes us believe that because we say yes to Jesus and we are walking in his will then no trouble will come to us we are going to find ourselves in low and wet places the pit like shows was thrown in we'll find ourselves there I don't know how many of you have found yourselves in P situations how many of you have found yourselves in some dark places when you feel like this is the last Str God I am going to give him now because I see no way outus so Joseph we are going to be placed in the pit we're going to be hated by our Brethren hated by the world sold into slavery lie on wrongfully imprisoned treated unfairly but we are assured Brothers and Sisters of the Providence of God hallelujah to fulfill our purpose in life Joseph's Journey from being vict him to think that did not come overnight it did not come instantaneously hallelujah hallelujah it started long before he stood before Pharaoh all of the things that he had gone through prepared him to stand before Pharaoh yet through his shes David sorry Joseph maintained his Integrity his stfi faith he recognized God's sity and Providence over his life for a greater purpose may we become Hallelujah may we when we become victims of the circumstances in our lives may we be like Joseph who will stand up and maintain our integrity no matter what is happening in our circumstance may we be like Joseph not to complain or to turn away from God may we stay the course and know that God has a great plan for us so we have to go on Hallelujah we may become victims of our circumstances but we need to shake off the victim mentality and recognize who we are and who we are we are children of the most high God we are roong priesthood we are a holy nation we are a peul people we are priest and PR before God hallelujah hallelujah Hall we are seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus we are the ones for whom Christ shed in the thank you Lord to save us to Ransom us we are bought with a price so we don't belong to ourselves for all our lives and every breath that is inside of us is due to the worship and the honor and the Adoration of God Almighty when we know who we are when we know who we are we will not sit in victimization but we will rise up KN that God has made a provision for us to unto them that mourn in Zion to give unto them Beauty for Ashes the all of joy for morning the Garment of pray for the spirit of heaviness that they might be called Trees of Righteousness the planting of the Lord that he might be glorified after all that Joseph had gone through when he came face to face with those who caused him to become a victim he said as for you you me it for evil but God me it for go how many of us can say to those who have robed us to those who have placed Us in victim situation to those who have put on the cloak and the jacket and the clothes of victimization us how many that I want us to grasp today is the state of being practical the aspect of a situation that involve the actual doing or experience of something rather than just the theories or the thoughts a lot of part we have an we remember but God wants us to know today that when he gives us power we have to use practical power so we don't only say it but we do it the Bible tells us that we must not be hearers only of the word but doers also Hallelujah I came across a term it is electrical technology practical unit of power the Practical unit of power is horse power anybody didn't know that me never know I found it when I Was preparing this message the Practical unit of power is horse power and there are two common definitions used today they are imperial horsepower which is about 7 45.7 W and mustard seed you can stay to the mountain move from here and move go here you think he supp to you think just you want talk because you want feel life if we get to the understanding that there is authority with which we must tackle our trials we must remember that that the weapons of our Warfare they are not caral but they are Mighty they are spiritual and they are Mighty to be pulling down a
