We've been waiting for it. It is game week for Tennessee football. The balls kick off the season against Chattanooga on Saturday. Frank de Luca is here to break down Tennessee's first debt chart of the season. Break it down for us. All right. Robin. Well, Tennessee is not trying to show all its cars. It's this early in the season, but today's depth chart was a trip the balls like to use the word or when listing its potential starters. And on this depth chart, there were a total of 35 oars for just the starters alone and there are only 29 starting jobs overall. Here are the three funniest things I noticed. Number one by far, James Pierce, not listed as the concrete starter. The Leo position, the all American edge and future top 10 pick. Sure. Seems like a starter. So I'm not really sure the balls think they're fooling here next up. Apparently running back, Dylan Sampson is in a battle for the RB one spot with four other dudes ut listed Sampson along with Cam Selden to Sean Bishop Khalifa, Keith and Peyton Lewis as the potential starters and probably my favorite thing on the depth chart. Jackson Ross appears to have the most job security on this team. Not only is the Aussie listed as the definitive starting punter, he's also the starting holder love that for him. And there were only six concrete starters on this depth chart and two of them were Ross. Now on to some actually interesting. Oars Chris Brasil and Dante Thorton are in contention for a wide receiver spot. I am definitely intrigued to see who gets more playing time between these two and the kick return and punt return jobs. Also wide open with Dee Williams gone. Seldon and Bishop both listed for the kick return job, punt return between Squirrel White, JMA mccoy and Boo Carter. Keep your eye on that too. And of course, Tennessee can't hide much longer the ball kick off the season against Chattanooga on Saturday and you can read much more about that depth chart on our website Robin. All right, Frank, thanks for the breakdown.
