so we tell about third down conversions which is really the story of us to scoring drives that kind of put the game away there at the end yeah um we should had more you know in the kind of middle of the game but um you know some things to clean up but uh really cool to kind of end the game there you know giv our defense you know under a minute to play uh I think it was like a 6 and a half minute drive moving the chains and um really cool to see our guys kind of you know um you know really go win it so great kick by David at the end to see kind of you know put give us some more cushion so just really cool what do you think clipped on those two fourth quarter scoring driv for you guys off oh we just stick we just stuck with it you know um you know coaches were putting us in good positions and it was up to us to make plays and um you know we knew our our backs were against the wall we were down and um you know if we wanted to go do what we wanted to do only the only thing to do was to to go make something happen so um you know thank the Lord that you know he put us you know put us right where where we were and um guys were executing you know it's the bottom line you execute you know you move the chain and go score before the game did you expect that fans would storm the field and you know in a game like this no um not really I wasn't really focused on that I knew sell out and that was going to be so cool but just really you know it didn't really matter you know if they're going to storm or not we got to go do our job to make that happen so I wasn't really at all but man that was really cool so something I always remember L cellout crowd top 20 opponent Big Time game and and you guys just go and win it I mean how exciting was that and just the the emotions of that all it's really cool um you know coming off last year not doing what we wanted to do and um you know just the preparation you really starting in January that you know that it took to to go see to go get a a great win at home and a sellout crowd is something that this University you know and our team will remember for a long time something I remember for a long time and uh you know really really special moment so just really thankful two games no turnovers for you just I know you talked to us during Camp about last year being afraid to make mistakes what's different for you this year man just my mindset you know I've had a couple pressers you know throughout the year and you know talked a lot about my mindset you know kind of where I am mentally and and spiritually too just with the help of a lot of great people and um you know constantly da those daily conversations those daily connections with my Creator and knowing that he's gifted me and giving me all these abilities and talents you know to to go flourish and to to Really um give him everything that matters and you know I've kind of realized and you know become more aware that man I'm man he's Talent he's really GI me with a lot of talents and you know I belong out there and I really believe that and um just you know that confidence just keeps growing and I'm really really cool to see see that com does I'm sorry does a win like this grow the confidence or do you guys already had the confidence to have a great season certainly doesn't hurt it you know so um we'll go we'll go in um you know tomorrow and watch the film and there's going to be a lot of things to clean up but uh it definitely you know gives your team a morale boost for sure just overall you know like I said it doesn't hurt it that's for sure so if anything what is there about Zari Franklin that you know when you put the ball up a contested throw that he's going to come down with he's Dependable you know he's so even I think that's what's so cool about him like you know he never gets rattled even before games he just has that you know straight look straight face look on his face I mean there were some good Corners out there that he was going against and you know he never flch at all had so much confidence in him to go do what he does seen it throughout camp and you know he's done that the past four or five years however long he's been in college and um thankfully he's on my team and you know he's he he won a lot of one-onone battles tonight feel to talk about this maybe being a moment program trying to do longterm you feel that after the game like kind of taking survey of the scene out there kind of like a moment for the program to take that step forward curious while you survey the scene crowd served you maybe kind of felt that it could have been a moment it certainly was a moment you know it was a moment that everybody remember forever and it's something we can build upon certainly you know you know week two against a ranked opponent you got 10 more games you know it's definitely um you know really cool that it happened really early you know instead of you know later down the season to kind of just help us you know grow confidence moving forward and um you know it's just crazy how the you know how how life Works how God works you know you know last year I remember times they booing us off the field so and to be able to kind of have that moment it's just really cool for my team to be honest are you looking to Crow Sur or did someone just grab you and decid crazy so um a lot of my family came up for this game obviously um and a lot of friends too from back home friends you know guys probably be in my wedding I'll be in there so um the whole time you know I was looking for them cuz I knew they'd be out there and um you know I was kind of looking around and you know my little brother came up to me and just gave me the biggest hug and my friends followed up and my older brother was here too so they pick me right up and that was just been a special moment you know something that you know well I'll remember more than you know the plays that were made out there honestly it was just really cool touchdown the second half last TR yeah I mean you said it I don't know if it last week or whatever but you know there's there's not a match up that he goes out there you know on a daily basis and you know he thinks he's you know the Lesser you know of the two you know whether there's a great corner he went up against some great Corners tonight and uh like I said was a he never has a lot of experience too and um he just continues to make plays you know it's there's really not they really I Haven really I haven't seen him you know really not be defendable or not do the things he should do he's always detailed and um he's a great leader for us man he he always encouraging and doing great things
