early turnover as saliva came through and smacked Cadillac Williams to turn it over lot like last week for Tampa Bay in the second half when Chris Sims threw the interception for the touchdown they come out here with the first possession and turn the ball over Joe saliva just comes right through the line and puts a big hit on Cadillac Williams and then you've got Evans there recovering the ball and and that's really been the story for Tampa Bay within their running game Oakland's running it up on Denver rather the other way around and brought down by McFarland is pis a loss of one so Denver is Brunell looking for somewhere to go with it hits sers sers is in for the touchdown gets his fifth touchdown catch he had a rushing touchdown against the Eagles last Sunday night and right now it's Brunell looking for somewhere to go with it going to try to run for it and make it that was such a big part of his game with the Jaguars he has over 2300 career rushing yards and Screen BS Brooks loss of three you know Derek Brooks has been playing with a hamstring injury and I mentioned earlier last week it just did not look like he was playing at full speed did not have the burst did not make plays that generally he makes but he's got such play recognition you're going to see the job that he does as soon as he recognizes that it's a screen he immediately comes up and makes the play he just him today he has great speed he runs a good double move Sims fires touchdown Buccaneers hilard third down and four out of the shotgun Brunell that's a first down Brunell backpedaling as he threw it and makes a first down catch good for six and Chris coie he's just one of the coie the catch is made the first down picked up by the Washington Redskins Betts try the right side now cut it back up the middle and right through the heart part of this Buccaneer defense takes it down to the eight first and goal pis bouncing it to the outside and in for the touchdown for Washington his fifth rushing touchdown of the season on the field right now third down and six samim steps into the throw and hits Galloway how impressed do you come away no matter what happens with the final score how impressed would you be with a job that Chris Sims has done today of the threat of him running by people going to let him throw again down the middle Galloway What A Catch overthrown and still hangs on for a one-handed grab a 32 yd completion and only because it was about a yard too deep was it a touchdown yeah and as soon as you start thinking that they're going to run the intermediate routes and then you just send them on a go route and Chris Sims get the ball in his hands but what a heck of a catch by Joey Galloway if he's able to get the ball in his hands in stride this is an easy touchdown but how Galloway is able to run down the middle with no safety looking for him is really hard to believe because this guy's been making these types of plays all season long had a Crossing route and I think that's where John guden was on the ball to go so now fourth and goal they'll go for it Sim steps up has it knocked down and the Redskins will take over a turnover on downs and the Washington Redskins will have it the ball at their own 13 yd line and only 3 and 1/2 minutes left Chris coie right here tight formation on Third and two six for seven on third down this second half and pis did not get it you [Applause] thinking fiveman Rush s steps up and does think and throw down the middle he completes it to Galloway 13 yds and a first down you get that ball up a little bit Galloway may have a chance to run with it after the catch but a good way to start typically the first completion is the hardest to get in a two-minute drill and now the booth is going to review that catch you would have to believe as Bill vinovich blows his whistle you know he had Joey Galloway on the Square end and now you take a look as to whether or not he actually caught the ball from here it looked like he had and that's hard to tell it looked like the ball may be coming loose but as we've talked about throughout the today there's got to be Visual Evidence to suggest that the ball was moving and I don't know that that's going to be be able to be determined so the call what the situation is three man rush for the Redskins on this play and the pass left alone as Shepard and Adele Shepard has a it [Applause] see who this is [Applause] against well we have watched almost instant maturation on the part of Chris Sims in this game he has been phenomenal he certainly has I mean he has delivered each time they've asked him to in this ball game and you know this is a pressure pack situation for him trying to lead his team back from behind and tie this game up he recognizes the blitz knows what he's got outside and then he delivers a perfect pass there was an offside on that extra point attempt now they're going to call delay a game against the Washington Redskins and they'll penalize it on the kickoff as Matt Bryan will attempt to tie it Bryan has not missed an extra point this season [Applause] and there are flags it looked like Washington came across early they blocked the extra point but let's see if they came across too soon yeah I think they absolutely did Joe offsides defense number 26 half the goal try you see Springs was one and Walt Harris the other and now what now the offense is back on the field as the ball is going to be moved half the distance to the goal line to the one and like dick ver a week ago they're going to go for and I don't agree with this call I don't agree with this call and only because there's still time on the clock and with Washington H with two timeouts they still got to move the football down the field for a field goal I boy this is risky going for two to take the lead they hand to allst allst fights no sign he got in Tampa Bay is up by one literally fought his way in to put the Buccaneers up up by one and I think you got to give it all to Mike allot he got contact well short of the goal line but as we've seen throughout his entire career he he just is able to will himself into the end zone and move people and move bodies
