Intro hey guys welcome to our youtube channel called down right now uh in today's video we're going to talk about reddit reddit seems to be down right now as you can see the website is not loading anything uh i'm unable to load any of the posts and it even shows a message sorry we couldn't load post for this uh page people are getting different types of error messages over here if we Reddit Down Detector look at the status on the down detector you can see a lot of reports being made recently regarding the outages of reddit and mainly it's with the website and some people are facing problem with the app as well so it's something to do with the servers as you can see a lot of comments being posted over here so if we look at the status Reddit Status on redditstatus.com they have updated over here that they are continuing to investigate this issue elevated error rates so they posted earlier on around an hour ago that we are currently investigating this issue and we are continuing to investigate this issue was updated around a few minutes ago as you can see there's a major outage on desktop mobile app everywhere there's a lot of outages reported right now so this is the reason why reddit is down if you want to follow uh further updates on this you could follow this reddit status twitter account um to get further updates they've already posted um a tweet around an hour ago investigating we are currently investigating this issue and then they've given the link which i've already provided you i'll put this in the description as well so you can check the status over here this is the reason why reddit is down but in the meantime you could let us know in the comments or just you know bring up your conversations over here in the comment section just chat around and hopefully the reddit problem will be fixed very soon some people are also getting an error message like our cdn was unable to reach our servers so this is another error message appearing it's basically all linked together and it's an overall outage it's not something to do with your particular account so just stay connected with the twitter and this status account or this status website and hopefully you will get update on this soon so that's all for today thank you for watching have a good day bye
