And this morning, a woman is waking up behind bars, accused of shooting someone and then trying to run away from police. This happened Friday night in Newport News along savage drive that's near the Village Square shopping center. Officers saw a car matching the suspect's description. When they tried to approach that car, the driver took off and we're told the car crashed into four other cars near the Newport News airport entrance. 34 year old Gabrielle Piggott was arrested and charged with malicious wounding evading police. She's also facing gun charges, the shooting victim and those involved with the car crashes did not have serious injuries.
