so David CERN just gave the state of the union for the Mets at his press conference and you know we D and David has mention that you know certain guys that they targeted in the beginning of the Season you were one of them and the reason was that when he sat down with you and your agent Your Role a defined role was very important to you and and what Mets offered you and what you could offer the Mets there was a Synergy there I asked him because it's a double-edged sword you have an opt out and you've had an unbelievable year how important is what you've been able to achieve here go towards when you think about where to sign next year or even if you opt out how important is the chemistry you feel with this team and the success you've had to that decision making process um you know the stuff that happens at the end of the season is nothing I can control right now um you know I can only worry about what I do every day uh getting ready to pitch um help this team you know make it to the playoffs and um you know that's that's the only thing I can worry about right now and all that stuff will take care of itself so I'm not worried about anything like that I'm just ready to pitch one my one is my next time and um you know when a lot stuff comes then you know I can worry about that later but um you know so far uh I've had an un unbelievable experience um you know I've loved every minute here the city the organization the field the fans my teammates uh it's just been an incredible journey so far and uh just super uh happy to be here you know had glimpses of you in the past when you played against the Mets or on certain Gam games but this year seen you day in and day out whether it be on the mound or in the Dugout you always have a smile on your face is that a a direct result of this group or is that something you've carried over from every single team you've ever played with uh yeah I definitely think uh you know it's part of my personality um you know I trying to bring some energy every day and um you know it's kind of my part when I'm not pitching uh you know I call myself a cheerleader and um it's just a you know simple way that I think I can uh help this team win and um yeah so bringing the energy bringing the The Good Vibes I think is a is all part of it and um yeah I'm U you know anyway I can help this team and if that's the only way I can do it uh that day then you know we just got to do it so uh yeah
