Cleveland weather: Scattered storms possible on Thursday in Northeast Ohio

Yeah, but they may be just be sort of getting used to the house a little bit in the new home because, you know, there's just not as much opportunity to get outside and enjoy with that hot pavement out there. Anthony. Yeah. Uh, this week is probably not the good, uh, week to be new parents to, uh, those dogs out there because of the hotter temperatures and the pavement temperatures. Uh, of course, we have temperatures in the mid eighties, but right at the surface. Oh, yeah, those pauls could be suffering significantly hotter temperatures because of the afternoon sun. So 85 degrees, mostly sunny conditions with a north breeze of 13 dew points. They're still in the seventies. So the heat is one thing pretty manageable for this afternoon, but it's still feeling very, very tropical stepping outside all across the Buckeye State just two hours down the road. Columbus, mid nineties. That is where we were sitting at about 24 hours ago, mid eighties for us. Uh, further up to the North Detroit, uh, looking at low eighties, we actually have a stalled out front position up to the north and this is actually gonna be the focal point for showers and thunderstorms going into your Thursday. So that's gonna be the actual mechanism and a trigger to fire off some more shower activity. So we're gonna be using this as guidance for tomorrow afternoon because model data has keep going back and forth whether or not what the storms are gonna be in initiating and where they're gonna be tracking. So we're gonna try our best for tomorrow going throughout the next 24 hours for these storms for tonight. Really quiet, clouds are gonna be sticking around due points are still gonna remain up there. So I'm calling for a chance of maybe some patchy fall but that stalled out front. Calm winds, clouds lingering and moisture still remaining pretty uh plentiful when it comes to the atmospheric moisture. So temperatures in the upper sixties is gonna be a humid start and some of us could be, uh, could be, uh tracking a little bit more of patchy fog for tomorrow morning. By the afternoon, we warm back up into the mid eighties and then we're gonna be tracking those showers and thunderstorms possibly as we get to the afternoon hours. Nine o'clock, not much is really showing up with your national hour by hour forecast. And as we go through our time again that stalled out front could generate some lingering showers for tomorrow afternoon, although not much is really showing up when it comes to guidance against solutions. Uh, our model data has been all over the place trying to keep up with this ongoing heat and humidity pattern. We have uh draped across the area. So it's trying its best trying to show where showers are gonna be located, but not much is really showing up right now, but humidity is gonna remain up there, just have the umbrellas just in case a passing shower may be a heavy downpour will be likely going throughout time for your Thursday and Friday. What's gonna be for sure will be the humidity. And as we get closer to this weekend, that is what we're gonna have. That final relief coming for your Labor Day weekend is also gonna be bringing more showers and thunderstorms when our next inbound cold front, our next potent cold front, that's gonna bring significant change by Saturday showers and thunderstorms at least for the first part of your Saturday morning. Then clearing out all throughout late Saturday into early Sunday where another reinforcing shot of cooler air and check out these cooler temperatures as we wrap up your Labor Day weekend. Your homework is 70 outlook, low eighties, Saturday and Sunday, low seventies. Hello come Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, sunny skies, gorgeous weather continuing right into midweek. But wow, clouds and storms, we gotta keep a close eye on that. We, we, I mean, it's gonna be a moving target going throughout the next couple of days. All right, good to know. We appreciate the heads up Anthony. Thank you.
