massive game last Tuesday an even bigger one on the horizon next Thursday but sandwiched in between good to get the league campaign underway with a win here at flintown United yeah it is definitely and know you you know we've worked together a long time and you know me really well that you know tonight was the only focus was tonight's game you know we um we get here we're prepared we're prepared yesterday probably you know pick the strongest team I could pick from I think good win the game Lads that needed minutes as well you know the the young Lads done ever so well as well you know thought um Ben Willam you know Nate deoro and Jake can um canovan were fantastic and there you know three young players that haven't played awful lot of football played 90 minutes all three of them and were excellent I thought bla Hudson was fantastic he was um he was absolute colossal at the back today because you know Flint are a big team obviously got Jake Phillips's long throw he can throw it in the box when you enough anywhere set plays was really really tough you know big strong aggressive team from set players and long throws so you know it's um and it was brilliant for sha Bradley to get himself 90 minutes and three goals because arguably you know Shawn probably thinks he should have played moments and he then he should have and and you know I wouldn't I wouldn't be against him he's he's player of the year last year he's come in and um and he's done really well preseason but he's he's answered and he's he's done tonight what he would want a a season professional to do what somebody with a good attitude he's not sulked he's not you know through his ties out the prom he's worked hard in training he's got his 90 minutes tonight and he's scored three goals and was fantastic and you mentioned some young players there there were some even younger ones that came on at the end there is a great Academy setup at the new Saints and as they've shown tonight they can slotting comfortably in the first team yeah it is you know they've done it against them we started with a with an even younger team again against Flint in the cup you know so but but the but the young Lads are come on Harry Kaleb and OE you know they had a good 15 minutes there of Welsh Premier League Football you know so it's brilliant for them it's fantastic so when you when you look at the team that finished there we've got six players there you know 19 and under you know come through the academy so it's um it's fantastic from the great work that the lads are doing beneath us you know as in as in the younger age groups in theems you know in the scholarship is um is is really paying off and it has to because of the situation at this moment time you know we've got a few injuries on top of that but we've also got game after game after game and not only game after game but big game after big game so it's um it's really important that we can we can lean on the the youth and they'll get that opportunity and certainly over the two games the two Flink games league and cup they've taken it and really impressed myself there was an enforced change of course in the first half de M manof what's the update on him yeah Dex had Dex probably had a he's had a almost a dead cough for I think it was um um f varash at home he took a heavy blow on it and he he's been managing it since managing minute and training and with pain killers managing minute and games you know and and it was really important tonight that deck got as many minutes as he could because of that you know same with sha same with blae same with Ash Baker same with sis you know they all haven't same with Dan Wills haven't played as much minutes as they all like to and tonight was really important for that but unfortunately you know he's got another knock on it and you know and it's it's it's a real painful one so you know fair play Deck he's been he's been you know soldiering on with and you know and he's um he's wanted to play tonight obviously to get some minutes and try and get some goals under his belt but unfortunately after 10 15 minutes it was just a bit too much for him four goals and three points but there was a goal conceded late in the game as well was that perhaps a disappointment yeah it's always a disappointment you know but I can't be too harsh on people when we've got that that much inexperience on the pitch at the end you know and and obviously we just spoke about um Flint set players they've got seven or eight ladge over six foot you know really way on you've got bla Hudson who was like I said he was a he was magnificent there bla had obviously come off he had a little bit of cramp in his cough so we didn't want to make that any worse and and then we put Leo Smith on a center half so it's you know it is what it is you know the young Lads to learn from it and in the look back at it and you know in the minutes they played tonight it be valuable on their on their journey to trying to get in the first team regular
