I see uh husband back there is is he having a good time does he enjoy coming to these things I don't know we can ask him come here come on in here hey man I'm will hey nice to meet you Brandon do you like coming to these things I do it's exciting it really is it's always an eye- opening experience what does it mean for you to be here that's awesome this is my first VMAs both of our first VMAs so we're excited to see the show I present song of the year tonight so I really don't have a hard job I can just hang yeah have like an iconic VMA moment in your mind I'm hoping to see one tonight I'm sure you will if not then you can make one for sure um you've got new music coming out what can you tell me about it what how would you describe the the era that you're in um I'm in my back to the roots era I feel like this record I made in Texas and it's just it's really honky ton it's like 100% me it's yeah how is this guy inspired your music um he's actually a co-writer on one of the songs on the record so yeah very directly very Lu he put songw writing on his resume now um he's inspired me because he's I mean he's just Bron's like the best he's down for anything super happy and supportive like in the best way like lets me do my thing but it's right there beside me and it's really awesome you got a a birthday coming up I do yeah what are we doing for the birthday um he's not fun he doesn't like cook honestly that's to do the cooking on your birth yeah that's what makes me happy what are you going to make probably something Italian I have to that's home for me that's home you guys have anniversary plans I it's what been what six years six years January January we got married in January on purpose so we'd always have a reason to go somewhere warm yes so yeah what's the favorite spot we don't know we always find a warm we've been going to Arizona a lot lately uh Scottville cuz I ride I do mounted shooting um and ride horses out there so probably somewhere in the sunshine yeah I like that very nice especially in January when you guys are able to be together I know I mean I'm sure with a residency and a tour scale SCH it can be difficult but what do you guys do to to stay connected when you're all all over the place we kind of live on a date honestly like we really spend a lot of time together we're like best friends so even when there's time apart we we really find a way to connect and always like have dat nights or which could just be watching a movie on the couch but like really spend time together you should have asked us when you were talking about what you were going to make for your B birthday is he a good cook he's amazing an amazing cook what's his best dish um a plant farm straight up yeah learn from my parents that's it congratulations on everything thank you yeah have fun nice to meet you pleasure [Music]
