Never too early to discuss those upcoming 2024 football schedules for Michigan and Michigan State ..

here's a look at the Spartans and Wolverines schedules in year one of the big 18 if you don't like it you better get used to it Tom U ofm might have the tougher slate but most of its big games are at home is this the schedule you've always wanted well I always wanted it but I wanted it last year you know not this year because uh you know last year's team got a little a little bit more going for it I mean there's there's some holes to in this year's team but no I love it you know I mean I I mean I've voiced this for years I you know and I don't pay I'm in the Press Box I'm not paying those tickets my friends are paying and I got a couple of them that are pretty high level donors are putting a lot of money in there and you know you don't want to watch Arkansas State necessarily you want presno State's not a bad opener but but having Texas coming to Ann Arbor having USC just the name brand alone yeah and then obviously Oregon which I think is could be the national champion next year and probably best team in the Big 10 coming into Ann Arbor I mean that's what it's all about I mean you got the 12 team playoff you still got a shot you still can stumble and get in the playoffs this is what I've been waiting for for a long long time Daran MSU will play at least twice on Friday nights at Oregon and home against Purdue is that a good thing and you think the opener against Florida Atlantic on Labor Day weekend will also be moved up a day as we've come to expect it so predicated on TV uh that that's the new that's the new landscape as long you know along with nil transfer portal and television dominates scheduled decisions and so it's really hard to say whether that first game will be moved I know that's important to the community in East laning it's something that we've come to know to know and and expect uh but two Friday games you know during during throughout the the season uh it it definitely provides an interesting uh you know take and perspective especially when it comes to travel but having games on Fox Prime Time and Friday night you're probably the only thing on TV that's always a good thing
