Keith Richards' 4 favorite Rolling Stones albums

[Music] my name is Rafael you're watching Rock garage and today we're going to talk about Keith Richard's favorite Rolling Stones albums but first please subscribe to the channel like the video leave your comment tell me if you like these albums or not okay so let's start uh back in 2020 in an interview with G GQ Magazine um Keith revealed which are his favorite Rolling Stones albums and you know he talked about he said that all the albums are his favorites and Etc but he picked four and the first one is Beggar's banket releas released in uh 1968 and it's a classic album you know all the albums released by The Rolling Stones in the late from the 60s and '70s are very very good and you know you got two really big Classics in this album on this album which are Sympathy for the Devil and street fighting men and at the time the group was formed by Charlie wats on drums Bill Wyman on bass Keith Richards on guitar MC Jagger vocals and the late Brian J Jones who tragically passed away at the age of 27 not much after that and it sold uh an estimated uh amount of 1.1 million copies and it's the it's not it's it's the the album that so last copies that that Keith listed and we move to the next one which is ladyy bleed released in 1969 and it's another classic album and um it was the first album with the guitarist Mick Taylor who previously was playing with uh Jo Mayo in the Blues Breakers and he was the one who replaced bran Jones after the band fired him and it's not a secret that the ERA with Mick Taylor as the lead guitarist is Keith Richard's favorite Rolling Stones era the records released with Mick Taylor are always among his favorite ones he always mentioned their era and it is his favorite era so ladyy bed um had tracks like gim Me Shelter Midnight Rambler and you can always get what you want you know all great songs besides many other great ones and it sold an estimated amount of 3.5 million copies worldwide so it's another great album and we move to the next one which is sticky fingers released in 1971 another album with Mick Taylor and it had tracks like um brown sugar wild horses Can't You Hear Me Knocking all incredible tracks and it sold an estimated amount of 3.5 million copies like the the one we mentioned it before so it's another very you know it's another classic uh Rolling Stones album and an interesting story about it it's that the original cover of the album was done by andyw Warhol the famous uh artist American Artist but um it was a little too Gra traic it CH you know some fingers inside a a can and they ended up changing for this uh cover that shows uh guy's pants right and and you know tell me each one you prefer and we go to the final one the final one the fourth one he he mention it uh was released in 1972 and it's Exile on Main Street uh which is uh another album he he mentioned it and and it's a double album and it had tracks like tumbling dies happy which is uh has Keith Richard's on vocals it's probably my favorite uh rolling stone song with key3 shirts vocals it's incredible if you never heard happy you should heard it and there's another great track that I think is very under is which is shine a light and this album sold an estimated amount of 1.5 million copies uh worldwide you know these are all credible albums and I tend to agree with with um with Keith I think these are probably uh my favorites too although I I really like stuff they did in the 80s I like stuff they did in the '90s and in the thousands I mean I can't think about a really bad Rolling Stones record and if you can please leave your comment below and tell me if there's are any uh Rolling Stones albums that you think it's terrible they are terrible I I don't think I can't really say oh this era of the band is horrible no you know every album they released had something good and that's that's really nice and and it's not uh you know that's why they're here after all these years more than 60 years on the road the B continues and and that's incredible and I hope you like the video please subscribe to the channel like the video leave your comment below tell me what do you think and let's talk about it thank you for watching and I see you later
