looking to set up a screen pass here and he will be stuffed for no gain now it's second down here this is exactly what you want to see from the defense yeah you give up the catch but you're right there to be able to stop this receiver from making any yards after the catch that's a big game before he goes out of bounds it'll move the sticks more than enough for a first down and the warhawks will line up on First and 10 easy and from the shotgun an inside handoff hey it's a great job of this defense containing the running game and if I'm calling the plays I'm not abandoning the running up for this defense in the passing game man it is so tough to match up in man-to-man coverage against him muscles across the goal line touchdown UL Monroe Bo this defense just getting manhandled at moved him right down the field can the defense make adjustments on First and 10 they'll look to throw it running back has it on a screen now good job for the defense to fight through the blocks on the two-minute warnings this offense tries to take the lead here before halftime offense getting set second down play here come on set they'll switch it up looking to throw pass BS incomplete there was a lot of contact no penalty brings up Third Down Easy scanning the field it's back berning back grabs it on the screen and a big game before he goes out of bounds the offense keeps churning gets a fresh set of downs Georgia getting set with a first and 10 now the r it from the gun nice job here of controlling the line of scrimmage by this offensive line the back does what he needs to do to get positive yards on first down quarterback looking to throw it on second down not able to hook up there inm man Chris I don't know if that was a bad read by the quarterback or a bad route by the receiver they got to get this cleaned up before the next time they go through the air and he'll drop back here on third down to screen pass complete to the running back they've got him but that completion good enough for first down yardage and the defense is so caught up in this guy running the football in this drive they forgot to defend him coming out of the back field nice positive play good coverage there here comes the UL Monroe offense back on the field this would a touchdown of their last possession let's see if this defense can make adjustments and prevent that this time that's a nice tackle there by the [Applause] senior second down play coming up second down to the air it's booty he's running out of time here he's going to take off quack gets down to avoid the big hit well I thought the defense had him here Chris he should be down the back field but instead he gets out of the pressure and actually picks up some positive yards one of those critical third down plays coming up looking to set up a screen pass here they bring him down but not before he gains first down yardage good time here to drop this screen in by the offensive coordinator and a nice job by the running back being able to pick up some positive yards here on this play the gain moves the ball to the 34 well let's give credit to the offensive line here they went with a run blitz the offensive line sees it picks it up gives them enough room to pick up some solid yards defense is coming after him and looking for a big play here and the pass is dropped would have been a big game but he couldn't hold on after the incompletion they'll line up now for a third and five ver back drops back from the shotgun grab down the middle it's Griffin stopped at the 43 but that's enough to make a first down that's a nice pick up there they find some space in the zone and pick up the first down yeah really nice call here Chris to be able to pick up this first down on this drag route the quarterback does a nice job of being patient waiting for that window to open up in that zone and he put it right on the money for the receiver to have a chance to not just catch it but eventually get the first inside G now from the shotgun they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one I don't think the offensive line gave the pack much of a chance at all now give credit to the defense it was almost like they were anticipating a run and got up close to the line of scrimmage in a hurry they don't convert the fact he's tackled for a loss on that third down play they've converted one of their super fourth down attempt so far looks like we going to get a third attempt right here it's a deep throw down the right sideline and the pass is batted down broken up on fourth down what a play I think they're going to end up regretting going for this one Chris I wouldn't have gone for it what's wrong with punting it away again I get being aggressive but you got to be smart on when to go for it and when to punt off the play fake looking to throw on first down and he's got it both out of bals but it's another big game this offense producing chunk plays through the air George has moved into the Red Zone the tight end has got it big man finally brought down by the cornerback that was a tough assignment and there's the tight end who shows off his hands coming to the line on second down this is important they want to avoid a third and long takes the hand off it's etn he stop him behind the line for a loss of one this defense just hasn't had many answers for this running back guy's already over a 100 yards on the afternoon but give them credit there they made a nice play in the back field looking to throw it's backck bringing pressure tries to avoid the rush and just gets rid of it a really good decision here by this quarterback just to get rid of that football but I'm sure they're hoping for a few extra yards here to make this field goal attempt a little bit easier here the kickoff team is out this one will be fair caught here comes the warhawks offense back on the field now hoping to improve in the last Drive they got stopped on fourth down and it ended up cing them a field goal tackled quickly after the catch she'll be short of the marker love the timing here between the quarterback and his receiver pick up some positive yards and I continue to be impressed with just the the chemistry between these two look at a pass here on second down there's a wide open receiver complete the tackle is finally made but a huge gain they'll spot the ball near Midfield at the plus 49 big chunk play this offense operating at Peak efficiency tackle behind the line it's a loss of two Chris tax broke job by the defense surrounding the runner and preventing that play from being bounced to the outside he'll hand it off went it up the middle but stuff for no game now it's third in long for this offense football right at Midfield well the defensive line does their job eating up those double teams freeing up the backers to make the play easy throw to a wide open receiver downfield that game will pick up a first down and move the football to the 36 the warhawks keep the football on the move from the shotgun now here's an inside give the junior able to bring him down quickly nice solid run here by this back did a nice job of just kind of finding that lane pick up some positive yards there on First and 10 using the ground game here tailback has the hand off tackle behind the line it's a loss of two offense needing to keep this drive alive it's a third down play dropp in back we going to throw for the first down c quickley b carer brought down what is the final play of this third quarter well Kirk get Georg on top so far you've reached the end of three time has running out to cut into the lead let's take a look at the game sense before we move on so here we go down one score they're going to go for it on fourth down extending the play now he'll avoid the tackle there with a slide and the warhawks getting set on First and 10 out of the shot gun you'll hand it [Applause] off here comes a crucial second down play every yard tough to find down here in the Red Zone dropping back it's booty he's got it right near the endzone and he's in touchdown U Monroe with that completion right there this quarterback now has gone over 300 yd in this game what a day he knocked through the phc and claim a onepoint lead here in the final quarter that's another strike from this quarterback Kirk he is having himself a day this guy's just having one of those days you dream about against this secondary let's also give credit to the wide receivers doing a nice job of getting open and the Big Fellas up front giving him enough time to throw and the Bulldogs offense is back out on the field from the shotgun here's an inside give solid run moves the ball out across the 20 with the 21 here's the second down play I know this defense worked very hard at halftime to come up with answers on how to try to slow down this running back after the big first half and he's already at it again juked one tackler and picks up first time yardage you know offensive lineman or just a certain GED they're always going to do their job no matter who's back there carrying the ball tell you what they have a little bit more confidence when the person that's carrying the ball can break off some big time runs that makes them block just a little bit harder knowing what he's potentially capable of doing they bring him down to the 32 yd line Second down after that run on the previous [Applause] play now they'll switch it up looking to throw the ball here incomplete they cannot connect on the Deep ball well that's just a miscommunication here that's busted coverage by the defense there's no way you can leave a receiver that open only problem for the offense is the quarterback misses the throw that's a touchdown the pass is off Target he got hit as he thre as the third down Pressure Works and the Bulldogs will bring their punt team onto the field the quarterback did all he could here to wait until the last possible moment but he waits just a hair too long to allows the defense to actually hit him as he throws the ball and they returner broad down by that coverage team Monroe offense back out there [Music] now and of course they'll Waring the clock here keep it on the ground they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one Chris good job here on this stop but remember the ball is inbounds and the clock keeps moving here late in the game when you're trailing as a defense got to start thinking about utilizing those timeouts you got all three to use at what point are you going to start putting those into play and brought down at the line by that big defensive tackle but here we go Chris one of the biggest plays of the game third down and long with the lead late in the game clock is running I think this is the time you call one of your favorite plays on this third down at the same time be very mindful you cannot turn the football over and look at the speed there they finally bring him down but it's a nice gain the warhawks will hustle to the line to crank the tempo oh that one really hurts for this defense they get these guys to third down a chance to maybe get them off the field and they give up a first down late in the game the clock will continue to roll dropping back it's booty pressure is coming he's going to pull it down and run slides down to avoid the tackle first down here the offense has time for one more play before the two-minute warning they'll go with the ground game here running back takes the hand off nice run he's brought down to the 44 so the clock stops as we head into the final two minutes of play here this defense needing to step up and make a play now offense getting set up here's second down hand it off they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one looks like a player is down injured at that last play they'll take a timeout where they check it out this is a big third down play coming up if they can get the stop you have to believe we'd see a timeout running back has it on a screen now they make the stop just short of the marker it's getting fourth down and inches well quick short throw here not able to convert for the first down we' love to see that route maybe a little bit deep to give yourself a better chance but they come up a little bit short so now it's decision making time for the coach I'd be shocked if they didn't go for it tackled across Midfield at the 48 good enough for a first down so they get the first down and that could be the dagger this defense needed to stop right there the offense can begin to think of it celebrating what a gutsy call here by the head coach to go for this with fourth down with the lead late in the game give him all the credit for the execution this game's not over but the defense only chance they really have now is they got to rip that ball out and try to get a turnover second down after that run on the previous play9 offense will keep it on the ground here they tackle him looks like it's going to be just short of the mark of inches away well the offense goes with a counter play here and the defense does a pretty good job of slowing it down again you got to be disciplined on defense just when you think they're running on the front side they run that counterplay and you better be home on the backside and third and short they hand the ball off tackled at the 33 that's good enough for a first down boy Chris you cannot overstate how big of a conversion this was to be able to pick this up on the ground yeah the offense still has the lead but you can just feel the defense having all the momentum with the points they've been able to compile and that run right there picks up a first down and can kind of settle things down a bit looks like the offense will just take a knee here well this was a team that seemed to relish the underdog roll curve not many people gave him a shot and they seemed to get fuel from him yeah they had a different kind of energy about him today I ain't going to give them all the credit in the world you can see on the sidelines how how fired up they were they knew
