did you guys see the story on the um Canadian universities in these University Tans they're all complaining now the federal government of course changed their policy stance on foreign students and temporary foreign workers the cap for 2024 for study permits was reduced by 35% across the country so basically there's fewer uh foreign student enrollment in in these University towns and that does not bode well for these landlords that were piling in you know five six seven students into these houses houses that were previously renting for $4,000 a month are suddenly now going for about 2,700 a month because they can't find students to pile into these houses I'd say that's a good thing sounds like deflation to me start cut I think people know in in the college towns it's it's hard to find a place for your kid to live so that's their perspective prices are too high you need them to come down they come down now who's complaining Rich the landlord yeah it's the owner it's the asset owner yeah absolutely
