And we are having so much fun in the Care 11 Barn and today we are honoring art at the fair and who better to talk art with than the Adam Term? Thank you. Thanks for having me. Yes. Oh my goodness. So many people know your work. I mean, it's become iconic and I love that you love Minnesota. That is very clear. I I very much do. Yes. Yes, I deeply love Minnesota. Tell me a little bit about your bold style because when it comes to landmarks comes to outdoors, I mean, you really have put your staple on letting people from everywhere. Enjoy Minnesota. I, I just, I, I love the state. I even love the state's shape and I love like bold, you know, uh graphic colors and just bold, bright things. And so I try to show that in a lot of my art that I do. I wanna talk about your art journey before we get into some of your art because you started by you doing art for like the music 16 in, in Minnesota, right? Tell me a little bit about that. Yeah. Rock posters. So I did my career really started doing gig posters and like learning my screen printing chops and doing, you know, posters for little bands. And then now and then it turned into bigger bands and then my, I started making more money at my um freelance stuff than I did in my day job. So I finally quit my day job. And then um you guys see what I do now? I mean, it's been a lot of fun. People have been looking for you, man. Every time they are so excited to see what's going to be revealed for the year at the state fair. The state fair is like your Super bowl. Yes, it is. It is. And you know what's really fun is that um, you know, we've got our booth at the, at the second level of the grandstand is the top of the big ramp. But really what's fun is to see people just walking around the fair who are wearing my shirts or they stop me on the street and they actually know me, which is really, it's really flattering and I just, it's, it's unexpected, but honestly, it's a pretty big dopamine rush for me. I really do enjoy it. Like I even signed something here earlier. I heard that you sign a T shirt here. Where is it? Oh, it's right over here. Yes. Oh, my goodness, you're a celebrity. I love it so much. You know, if you could talk, if yourself now could talk to yourself back then when you were doing those rock posters, what would you tell yourself? I'd be stoked. I was just talking to somebody even yesterday about that. You know, when I was a little kid I always thought it would be really cool to have a studio space, kind of a loft area and just like, make art in that. And I'm actually doing that now. I do have a house and everything else, but I have this great studio space that I'm able to do all this fun work. So, yeah, I mean, I, I'm kind of living what I've always wanted to do and I feel I'm really lucky that way. Oh, man, we love to see people live their dreams, don't we? And before I let you go, this is the piece that everybody is talking about. Tell me about this. So this is the giveaway piece that we're doing at the booth. So if you come to the booth and you, you scan the little QR code and you put your email in, you have 13 chances to win this or 12, prints of, of this piece at the end of the fair. Wow, that's amazing. I'll come to the booth and register it, discount. We can work it out. I like that a lot. And of course you brought some of your other things because you don't just sell that type of art. You sell this type of art too. Right. Right. We're in the blue ribbon, bargain books. So fair. People would know this. We're on page 78 and we're doing sweatshirts and ornaments that are brand new for the fair this year, at least for me uh half off and then um tons of art and brand new designs. Um This is one of our designs here, which is this great stand uh art. And um it's got uh you know, all the, all the fun characters featured on it, like doing grandstanding kind of stuff and that's what we're doing. So, you know, you had, you know, Alexis, you had mentioned that I try to do something that gets people fired up every year and this is, this is the new print that I do every year that people kind of look for. Oh man. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Give it up for Adam Turman, everybody.
