this is a quick update on tropical storm Francine as we can see from the imagery the Southwest quadrant has mostly disappeared and frine is predicted to weaken gradually the main rain threat has passed with only about 5 mm an hour on radar mostly however wind gusts of around 70 km an hour are being seen in New Orleans so don't go outside still the storm surge threat has mostly passed with the eye being well in land it may cause some tornadoes with the risk being slight that is all for today
