we're doing a 20-minute makes video it's been a while I am bringing the series back uh this is a series where I try to make leather things in 20 minutes or less and if I don't I'll be punished with a deep sense of Shame uh today we are making a cell phone purse or if you have something against the word purse we could call it a tiny Satchel mini Satchel baby satchel and I am going to make it in 20 minutes yes I will be cheating and yes I'll be using a sewing machine but is it cheating if I make the rules no it's not uh as usual the pattern will be free for the first week if you're watching Beyond a week of this video coming out then you can purchase it on our Etsy Shop materials and tools will all be listed and Linked In the description below and I'm going to stop talking now and I'm going to start making we've got the pattern here we've got the timer here now there we go timer's going let's trace this [Music] [Music] thing I don't know why I'm doing the rolled edges it doesn't seem like I have time for that that's okay [Music] okay going to Sky this right here so I'm going to bring another camera with me but we'll see how that works [Music] [Music] pieces and back so one issue I have with this leather that I'm using right now is that it's really oily so I actually double up on the tape the tape and the glue [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] we are down to 11 minutes and 40 seconds so that's nice not good news but still optimistic here so we got this piece here the rolled Edge again I don't know why I'm doing a rolled Edge this seems like a bad idea I don't have enough time but it looks so much better so whatever okay so now I'm taping it because like I said this leather is pretty oily doesn't easily doesn't easily tape up glue [Music] up I'm going to sew this [Music] up okay so we're down to 9 minutes and 40 seconds so I'm going to sew these up now so you me right over here the sewing machine and Blue's still a little bit wet so hopefully my sewing machine doesn't hate me for it wor saying about 20 minut minut somehow I have to do this while filming so [Music] all right and back this way okay back to the [Music] spot so we just got to I'm just going to trim these okay [Music] so now we just got to scab a few things [Music] and so we are down to 4 minutes and 50 seconds okay just got to slip this all together [Music] now all right 2 minutes and 43 seconds oh gosh okay Okie okay okay and then this [Music] one okay ah the timer okay all right we're done we're done we're pretty much done okay all right guys we're back here and we are down to this is our timer so we're just over that 20 minute Mark it's pretty much done I'm going to finish it up here I'm going to turn off the timer because it's annoying um and also a sign of my defeat okay but here we have it uh here's the finished product pretty much I'm just going to trim off a bit more of this stuff and there we have it it's pretty much done just have to put the strap through it um there you [Music] go okay so I pretty much made it in 20 minutes there is no sense of Shame here it's a very simple design but there's a lot of things you can do to you can add all sorts of different closures change up the strap for this strap I basically just riveted two uh the leather together and then I hit it in here be creative do whatever you want with it yeah I hope you enjoyed that video and if there's something else you want me to make in 20 minutes or less throw it in the comments below and maybe I will attempt it thank you guys all so much for watching I'll see you in the next video
