#NRL| Joel And Michelle discuss the latest NRL news

Balmain Tigers West Tigers Saga it's an NRL news update thanks to vodies the original and best clear protein water with 100% whe Protein Isolate cat amongst the pigeons kafuffle uh shite sandwich whatever to call like this dropped yesterday on our program it was breaking news and we said at the time that this is going nowhere this like a bit like the fifth Beetle that's it this Bar's gone nowhere uh in B tigers have a statement we spoke about the Michael Cham had the the city Morning Herald and the Bain tigers have launch back with a statement in response to the recent media reports the Bain Tigers Rugby League Football Club make the following statement the article written in the city Morning Herald was not true and this is not to say what they've heard is not true uh and not the view of the Balmain board the balain Tigers rug B League Football Club is fully supportive the ongoing relationship with our joint venture Partners the hullman Barnes group and West magp the balain board have a wonderful working relationship with the homman Barnes group and want nothing but sustain success for the West Tigers we're at an event the other day Michelle 25 years mhm I mean when this landed I said at the time to missile I said this this this is going nowhere because the heartbeat really for for the pipeline of Juniors has to be out the West right it has to be absolutely and you've got Bain here the last thing the NL need in expansion is another Inner City Club not only that the West tigers have 25 years under their belt and even if B were to do their own thing you're not going to get the tiger emblem back no absolutely not so and all those balain fans along with the west Western sub magp fans so many of them after 25 years are West Tigers I know it hasn't been great success no it's been a 25 year terrible marriage it's like Mom and Dad can you please get divorced this is killing me and this is speaking from an absolute true blue main supporter I grew up at going to lart watching all three grades every second week um and yeah I I actually just lost interest with the whole uh merger and and but I'm I'm up upfront about it uh I haven't been a West tiger supporter you know since it all happened but just hearing this and it's it's actually painful it's actually like really do you actually think it's ever going to happen you're ever going to you know go alone and become a team in the competition ever again which just need to move on from it and as you say the timing of this was strange I I know both Benny Elias and Danny stapledon very well and they're smarter than for this to have happened like this to have unfolded the way it has anyway so it's crazy stuff it it is and and don't blame the joural cuz obviously the story came from somewhere which is not what you've done but I'm just saying that the story wasn't made up but there's there's obviously some sort of agenda and it's backfired because it's not happening Michelle the thing is with these mergers right and they're bloody hard clearly extremely high the northern Eagles didn't work out s George aawara and the West Tigers they've probably been in the competitions say 52 years between them they've won two comps so that's sort of one every 26 years but there's 16 teams for the most part now 17 but they're not quite living up to what parody Or par should be right and largely that's because of the front office where just simply OS the fans get past it yeah the players couldn't give a rats like I remember that first year at the West tigers Cherry meser he turns up from West Steve George alas the mcginness boys great guys great guys and John scand Daris uh pomoy they they they turn up and within one training session one training session mates we're on our way we're all mates right but the board and the Egos and the you know like got to get me kid in the ball boy shirt you know but seriously yeah it's all this crap I'm laughing because it's so true it's all this crap and like 25 years come on yeah 20 as I say it's like you know it is like a bad marriage like can you either go one way or the other with it and stop of all this all this rubbish and this nonsense um be grateful you're in the competition yeah at at all so so sorry so so it's been very difficult for both parties if you could go back in time what what was the right thing to do for both those clubs well I you know I'm a little bit jealous of South Sydney they had clearly had um you know a a a better Pathway to uh a better future um I envy that people that were that were rallied for South Sydney didn't do something similar for the balain tigers or again for West for them to bit to have gone it alone um I would have liked to have actually seen what it would have been like for a West and uh param merger but West and canbury West and canbury yeah but just just more so I think the west Western param would have been a decent option imagine the nursery there um but yeah yeah I mean and and you know it was all great back then their fond memories um but times have changed y you know I mean going to uh a game at lyart overall is still it's it's awesome but if you're a true blue Bal main supporter it doesn't it doesn't even measure to what we used to go to of a weekend back then okay have you say uh and this comes after an article from the city Morning Herald stating that Bal considering a shock exit from the West Tigers merger but I think that's been puffed out fairly quickly uh Leo had this to say Gary Leo said I really believe the time has come for us to step aside and resurrect the B main tigers that is not going to happen b m chair Danny staple and Benny elas they shut it down immediately through the Daily Telegraph Benny lias said Leo is Delirious oh this gloves are off here Squad update for Round 26 they are absolutely fcal comments it's a joke there's no way in the world B man will separate from the West Tigers no way it won't happen in this Century Ria let's move away from the West Tigers let's head north to the Broncos Squad changes ahead of round 26 har has been cleared to come back what a match this is going to be the Battle of Brisbane sell it isn't it Michelle mhm big in too big in massive in Dean Mariner is not training due to illness it's not to say that he's out but he's not training at the moment due to illness and San Cobo expected in the centers with kapani on the wing in the event that D Mar doesn't play San Cobo he's played uh the Dolphins this battle of Brisbane three times scored in each game six tries in three games he loved this Christian taloto is out with a J’Maine Hopgood re-signs for the Eels hamstring injury for the dragon so he's out and uh as far as sou are concerned Cameron Murray has been replaced by Keon katang who in the middle uh Keon's been amazing Jermaine hop good resigns with the eels so well done that is a massive you know we're offing kicking power that is just huge and it it tells me something it tells me some there's some sort of change cuz he's such a good player he's um he's obviously you know had that penth sort of grounding and he'd be out the first sign that he possibly could if the if you know if it wasn't looking at least a little bit brighter so that tells me that there's Dragons close in on RCG good things happening at Power and uh Jason R has come out and said I think it was the two players were gutho and also Ryan Madison big parts of his plans not so much for Regan Campbell Gillard the dragons close in on Regan Campbell Gillard Brent Reed and Mick caranas talking about this through the Daily Telegraph it's undersood the dragons are in the process of finalizing an offer for the former New South Wales and Australian prop here has a year remaining on his deal so he didn't finish his deal at the Panthers no param picked him up and now it looks as though he's not going to finish his deal at param and kind of think that it was more a penth pushing him to move on than than him just not finishing the deal okay all right they me the Grand Final incidentally too didn't they and North Queensland held an initial interest in the 31-year-old but backed off when they were asked to whether they'd be happy to take a three-year deal so they weren't so keen on that
